Homebrew Worker Drone Species Details

Appearance. Following the core explosion of exoplanet Copper 9, all humans on the planet were wiped out, turning it into a winter-apocalyptic wasteland. Seizing this opportunity, the Worker Drones quickly picked up where the humans had left off, formed their colony, and embraced this newfound freedom by wearing human-like clothing and having different eye colors. Known colors they can have are red, orange, green, blue, cyan, aqua, magenta, pink, purple, and white.

Ability Score Increase. Increase one ability score by 2, and increase a different one by 1, or increase three different scores by 1.

Creature Type. You are a Construct.

Age. No Clue. You are immune to magical aging effects.

Alignment. Worker Drones are autonomous robots created to help their parent company, JCJenson, Mine exoplanets for resources. They are programmed to follow instructions, most are likely lawful or neutral as they are shown to mimic human culture.

Size. Your size is Medium. You are 4,2 feet tall. Or, 5,2 feet tall if you include a hat and/or hair.

Weight. No Clue. There are theories, but the gravity difference on planets like earth and copper 9 makes it hard to tell.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.

Worker Drone Traits

Worker Drones are autonomous robots created to help their parent company, JCJenson, mine exoplanets for resources, which Uzi describes as 'being mistreated in the name of Windex.' After the extinction of biological life on Copper 9, they started a society of their own.

Mechanical Nature

Mechanical Nature. You have immunity to poison damage and immunity to disease, and you have immunity against being paralyzed or poisoned. You don't need to breathe. Additionally, magic cannot put you to sleep.

Natural Armor

Natural Armor. Created with alloys, You are made to be independent of armor. As a result, your Armor Class is always equal to 10 + your Constitution modifier + your Dexterity modifier. A shield's benefits apply as normal.

Powerful Build

Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Healing Machine

Healing Machine. If the Mending spell is cast on you, you can spend a Hit Die, roll it, and regain a number of hit points equal to the roll plus your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1 hit point). In addition, your creator designed you to benefit from several spells that preserve life but that normally don't affect Constructs: Cure Wounds, Healing Word, Mass Cure Wounds, Mass Healing Word, and Spare the Dying.

Specialized Design

Specialized Design. You gain two skill proficiencies and one tool proficiency of your choice.

Disassembly Drone

Disassembly Drones are vicious robots that were once Worker Drones until they were converted into new vampiric forms.

Appearance. Disassembly Drones are physically similar to Worker Drones, having a white coloration with a black screen on the top half of their face, a black waist, and hands with four fingers. However, Disassembly Drones are half a head taller than them and have white arms with wider forearms that end with yellow and black stripes. On their head is a black headband with five sections of yellow light which contains Nanite Acid. In their mouth is a dark gray tongue and retractable fangs. All Disassembly Drones also sport a long black tail that ends in a large syringe, also containing the acid.

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2.

Creature Type. You are considered both Humanoid and Construct.

Age. No Clue. You are immune to magical aging effects.

Alignment. Disassembly Drones consider themselves as being on the right side, and have not participated in any evil schemes intentionally, as they might even have been forced to play along against their will. This would most likely make them chaotic good, lawful neutral or chaotic neutral. (even if they are a bit crazy)

Size. Disassembly Drones vary in height and build, from 5,2 feet to 5,8 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.

Mechanical Nature

Mechanical Nature. You have resistance to poison damage and immunity to disease, and you have advantage on saving throws against being paralyzed or poisoned. You don't need to breathe.

Natural Armor. Created with flesh and alloys, You are made to be independent of armor. As a result, your Armor Class is always equal to 10 + your Constitution modifier + your Dexterity modifier. A shield's benefits apply as normal.

Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Sunlight Susceptebility

Sunlight Susceptibility. You cannot regain hit points while in direct sunlight and have vulnerability to radiant damage.

Limited Regeneration

Limited Regeneration. As a bonus action, you can spend one Hit Die to heal yourself. Roll the die, add your Constitution modifier, and regain a number of hit points equal to the total (minimum of 1). You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all expended uses after a long rest.

Nanite Acid Stinger

Nanite Acid Stinger. Make an unarmed attack roll. On a hit you deal 1 piercing damage, creatures damaged by the stinger must make a Constitution saving throw, for which the DC is (8 + CON + PB). On a failed save, the creature takes PBd4 + CON acid damage on the start of each of their turns. Creatures can repeat the saving throw at the start of their turn, ending the effect on itself on a success. This ability can be used once per long rest.

Absolute Solver

Absolute Solver. Starting at 3rd level. Whenever you die, you come back to life after 3d4-PB (minimum of 1 round) rounds. You regain one hit dice, and immediately use your limited regeneration feature. Additionally, you are set to 3 points of exhaustion which go away after you finish a long rest. This effect is delayed for as long as you are in direct sunlight. This ability can be used once per long rest.

Flight

Flight. Starting at 5th level, you gain access to your wings. You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed.
