Homebrew "Cockroach Humanoids " Kaqroqa Species Details
The "Kaqroqa" are a small, insectoid race resembling humanoid cockroaches, adapted for survival in the harshest conditions imaginable. Born of a world plagued by endless cataclysms, the Kaqroqa trace their origins to a time when nature and civilization collapsed in unison. Massive wars and ecological disasters rendered their home a toxic wasteland, yet from the ashes, life persisted. Early insectoid life forms evolved rapidly in response to the intense radiation and chemical storms that blanketed their environment. Over centuries, these resilient creatures gained sentience, their survival instincts sharpening into intelligence, and their adaptation honed into ingenuity.
The Kaqroqa’s flattened, chitinous bodies, inherited from their ancient insectoid ancestors, are both a symbol of their legacy and a shield against the dangers of their unforgiving world. Their natural armor provides them with unparalleled protection from physical threats, while their compact forms allow them to slip through tight spaces and avoid detection. It is said their carapace glows faintly under the moonlight—a mark of their connection to the radiated world that forged them.
Blessed with keen antennae, the Kaqroqa developed exceptional sensory abilities, allowing them to detect minute vibrations, locate unseen prey, and sense danger long before it strikes. These antennae, combined with their multifaceted eyes, make them capable navigators in complete darkness, where others might falter. This sensitivity is a remnant of their early struggle, enabling them to flourish underground and in hidden crevices where the poisons of the surface could not reach.
Their survival instincts extend beyond mere endurance. Kaqroqa have an uncanny ability to adapt rapidly to new environments, using their sharp minds to modify tools, shelter, or even their own strategies. They are capable of holding their breath for extended periods, navigating submerged ruins or airless tunnels with ease, and can subsist for weeks without food, making them nearly impossible to starve out.

this is crazy op for living definitely a must have for wizard (they might make it to lv 2 before dying)
I adore the idea of this race, and think your writing for them is really nice! Mechanically, it feels a bit strong, and so I have a suggested list of traits suggestions:
Ability Score Increase: Your Constitution score increases by 2, and either your Dexterity or Intelligence modifier increases by 1.
Kaqroqa Talent: You gain either the Chitinous Resilience or Healing Scuttle trait.
Chitinous Resilience (Replacing Chitinous Invincibility): When you take bludgeoning, cold, fire, slashing, or piercing damage, you can use your reaction to gain resistance to the triggering damage and its damage type until the start of your next turn. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Healing Scuttle (Replacing Unkillable Scuttler): Whenever you take the Disengage or Dodge action in combat, you can spend one Hit Die to heal yourself. Roll the die, add your Constitution modifier, and regain a number of hit points equal to the total (minimum of 1). You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Natural Armor (Replacing Chitinous Invincibility): While unarmored you have an AC of 14 + your Dexterity modifier (maximum of 2). You can use your natural armor to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield's benefits apply as normal while you use your natural armor.
Wasteland Survivor (Replacing Disease Carrier): You have resistance to poison damage, you have advantage on saving throws made to avoid or end the poisoned condition or diseases, you are immune to magical effects that would force you to age, and you can hold your breath for up to 1 hour.
Now this is still rather strong for a race, but I think this represents the ideas of your race without being as overly-powered. Ability scores improvements are usually only limited to a +3 or +4 total with a race. and damage immunities, AC scores that high, and full regeneration are usually limited to class features, not racial traits. Also you'd want to list the size and speed traits for this race, as all races have that (and optionally creature type, either humanoid or monstrosity likely fit these guys), but either small or medium could fit them fine (or you could use the "You are Medium or Small. You choose the size when you select this race." option.)
Again I want to say I really like this race and think it's really cool, I only wanted to suggest mechanics that were slightly more in line with usual D&D races.
That species is coooooool!
