Homebrew White Court Vampire Species Details

White court vampires, referred to by the Fairy Folk as Pale Hunters, are one of the family of creatures called vampires. White Court vampires appear human and prey on human emotion and energy. Their organization is called the White Court. Run by Lord Raith of the Raith Vampires. They are immortal as long as they can feed, and are not killed. Their most identifying features are their inhuman beauty and blood that is paler than normal human blood. 

Their vampiric state is genetic and hereditary, rather than induced like the other two vampire Courts, the Red Court and the Black Court. They are human, until their vampirism manifests around the age of their maturity. As with the Red Court, their first feeding, with its nearly inevitable kill, marks their full transformation, and awakens the demon that lives inside them, forcing them to feed against their will. If the they refrain from this feeding for too long, the ‘Hunger’ drives them into a frenzy where they must feed, driving the vampire insane if they try to contain it. However, White Court vampires can escape full transformation if they escape their first feeding for long enough.

There are three Houses of the White court, each corresponding to a specific type of human emotion of which they feed off of. House Raith feeds off of lust, feeding through sexual intercourse usually. House Malvora feeds off of fear, and House Skavis feeds off despair. It is possible to change which emotion you choose to feed off of, but it is considered taboo. Their feeding is addictive to their prey, and the victims usually end up coming back for more.

White Court vampires are not endowed with as much physical strength as other vampire Courts. However, they do have enhanced sight (Passive perception 16), hearing, and sense of smell. They also have darkvision (60 ft). Their physical performance usually coinsides with how much they have fed. Using too much of their supernatural prowess requires them to recharge by feeding. While tapping into their demonic powers, they radiate waves of cold, their skin whitens, their eyes turn silver, and their body pulses with dim light (10 ft)

White Court vampire also have less vulnerabilities than the other Courts. Sunlight and symbols of faith have no affect on them. Their largest weakness is opposite emotion of what they feed off of, example being, Raiths are harmed by true love, Malvora by acts of courage, Skavis by hope. People or objects associated with these ideals are resistant to the vampires addiction and physcially burn the skin of the vampire on contact.

The White Court Vampires can cross thresholds without invitation however, doing so cripples their abilities. 

White Court Vampires can also trigger a soulgaze when looking a arcane practicer in the eye and can breed with humans.

Due to vampires amazing senses their passive perception is increased by 2.

Hunger

The Hunger resets right after feeding. There are 3 charges before the Hunger consumes you and you must feed.

Allows the soulgaze cantrip
