Homebrew Wemic Species Details
Wemics are larger and stronger than humans, and could make great leaps with a running start. Their fore claws were extremely sharp. They have keen eyesight, including darkvision, and exceptional hearing. Males have thick, lion-like manes.

Wemic tend toward neutral alignments. Wemic who are focused on the pride lean toward lawful neutral.
Size
Your size is Medium, yet you tower over most other humanoids.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 40 feet.
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Fey
You are considered fey instead of humanoid.
Claws
Your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you can deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Natural Born Hunter
You gain proficiency with one of the following skills of your choice: Athletics, Nature, Perception, Stealth, and Survival.
Pounce
If the Wemic moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a Melee attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. The DC of the save equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier. If the target is prone, the Wemic can make one Claw attack against it as a bonus action.

You can speak, read, and write Common and Sylvan.
Age
Wemics mature a little faster than humans, reaching adulthood around age 14. They age noticeably faster and rarely live longer than 75 years.
Mountain Wemic
This rumored sub-species of the Wemic had its lion portions replaced by those of a large cougar. They were slightly smaller than their cousins and generally solitary in nature.
Ability Score Increase
Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.

You have a base movement speed of 30ft and a climb speed of 15ft.
