Homebrew Admiraptor Species Details
What are Admiraptors?
"Admiraptors are an anthropomorphic, oviparous species who live thanks to the parasites on their backs. The parasites pump them with a liquid that allows them to live for up to 10,000 years! These parasites have a mind of their own, but cannot speak as they do not have mouths, but they can speak telepathically to their host. Despite the name "parasite", they do not have any intent to kill their host, but only to use them as a source of life. They age much slower than regular humans and animals. They have mostly carnivorous diets, but can manage off of the plant life around them. The first Admiraptors lived as a herbivore species, round noses, living off of plant life. A new subtype was soon born, called sharp noses. This subtype had sharp, and more raptor-like features, and mostly lived off of meats. They were more aggressive than round noses, but never once harmed their own species. Soon enough, parasites started to form onto the backs of baby raptors. This was a result of the sharp noses eating other wildlife with the undeveloped parasites. The parasites soon grew bigger as the raptors grew, and as new parasites were born, the raptors started to change. Having glass-like parts on their stomachs, tails, and growing horns, that held the liquid the parasites pumped into them. From then on, the raptors adjusted to their new parts and new life as hosts for the parasites. More and more subtypes and traits started to come to light."
How Were They Made?
"The original Admiraptors were both Oni and Angel raptors. These two raptors were the only raptors with blessed and cursed traits until the parasites arrived and caused mutations. These raptors were the creators of the original round nose raptor, though they did not plan on any mutations, they allowed the mutations to happen on their own. The Oni and Angel raptor are believed to be the creators of all life, the balance of good and evil, as told by Uncle."
