You shoot a narrow bead of condensed space towards a creature or object within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d4 force damage. If the target is killed, their corpse glows a rapid purple to white and then pops into spectral bubbles of magic. Each creature in a 10ft radius needs to make a dexterity saving throw. Creatures who fail their save take 1d10 force damage; creatures who succeed on their save take half.
Corpses within range of an explosion create chain reactions, each separately popping for 1d10 damage in a 10ft radius. Corpses are consumed and evaporate from popping; you may attack a corpse directly with the lancet to pop it.
This spell's primary damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), 17th level (4d4), and 20th level (5d4).
This spell's secondary damage increases by 1d10 when you reach 5th level (2d10), 11th level (3d10), 17th level (4d10) and 20th level (5d10).
