A geyser of acid 30 feet long and 5 feet wide shoots out from you in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 6d4 acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Each creature other than you within 5 feet of the line but not in it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 3d4 acid damage.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, both the damage of the line and to those nearby increases for each slot level above 3rd. The damage to those in the line increases by 2d4 per slot level, whilst the damage to those within 5 feet increases by 1d4 per slot level.
