You distort the vision of a humanoid you can see within range. The target must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw or take 1d6 psychic damage, become frightened and have its speed become 0 for the duration as it sees all other creatures and its own reflection as grotesque caricatures, with gaping voids for eyes, horribly distorted mouths and ghastly features. A blinded creature or one which relies on other forms of vision such as tremorsense or blindsight is immune to the effects of this spell. At the end of each of the target's turns before the spell ends, the target must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw or take a further 1d6 psychic damage. On a successful save, the spell ends.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you can affect one additional creature for each slot level above 2nd. The creatures must be within 30 feet of each other when you target them.
