Ahoy! I'm WarAxe145 here on DND Beyond, but I also happen to run a blog known as Tiefling Corner. I would like to run a Waterdeep: Dragon Heist campaign with participants willing to have recaps of the sessions on my blog (without naming any names besides the names of the characters themselves). I think I can handle a 3-5 person party. If anyone has already played the adventure, let me know what season it was set in and I will adjust accordingly.
When you have a character designed, let me know via a PM and I'll see what I can do! We're starting as level 3 (partially because subclasses are very important for character design).
Waterdeep is a city of wonder and powerful magic, but also of evil scoundrels and quick punishment. Our five heroes know this all too well, having defeated agents of the Zhentarim and the beholder crime lord Xanathar in a warehouse and a sewer hideout. Now, the party has Trollskull Manor, a sprawling tavern and mansion in the North Ward. And they have only just begun their adventure in the City of Splendors.
Sitting at one of the myriad tables is somewhat of a tall figure, if they were standing you might they'd stand at 6'2". They're heavily clothed. Robes. Hood, and a mask that covers their face. Food and drink sits in front of them. But they haven't touched it yet. Instead, they look completely oblivious, so lost in thought are they. He does that a lot. He, for it is a man underneath all of that, according to his voice, says his name is Jin. That's been the only word he said so far, and he said it only once.
Otherwise, he's been silent. Only communicating with gestures and grunts (which I will elaborate on their meaning). He hasn't removed his hood or his mask, or his anything, yet, so no one knows what lays underneath.
The Yawning Portal isn't as active or lively this early in the morning, despite dwarves and other drunkards vying for more ale.
You recall that the last time you were here, you had to fight some thugs and a surprise troll, before receiving the mission that brought you with your party. It's been about a week since then, but the tavern feels the same as the first time you entered.
"Jin!" exclaims a Fizz as he comes literally bouncing into the Yawning Portal. It's hard to tell if he is walking or skipping but either way he carries himself over the table where Jin is sitting. He pulls all 3 feet of himself up on a chair but instead of sitting proceeds to stand on the chair so he is roughly eye level with Jin. Fizzlebit Forton Thornberry the Fourth (or Fizz as his friends call and as far as he is concerned everyone is his friend) is an obviously young gnome dressed an ornate red and blue tunic with a blue cloak trimmed in gold. He wears a floppy blue hat with a similar gold trim over top of a matt of blonde hair. He is smiling ear to ear with wide blue eyes. At his side he carries a small rapier and a lute firmly attached to his back.
"My friend! Good morning and what a glorious morning it is! Can you see me out of that thing and how do you intend to eat this wonderful food before you?"He says gesturing at the hood and mask. He then leans over the table waving his left hand in front of your face and reaching down to snatch some of your food with his right as he continues, "You know, there is so much to see here! I can't wait to see what the day brings!"
Still standing on the chair he gestures emphatically to the first server he lays eyes on, "If it's not too much trouble could I get a nice glass of milk? Nothing gets the day going like a good cold glass of milk!"

The server, a middle-aged half-orc waiter, looks over to Durnan for approval.
"Get him a glass of milk. It's not like our ale reserves will deplete from it. Besides, it's on the house today."
The half-orc returns about a minute later. He carries a mug clearly meant for alcohol, but filled with prime cow milk at your request. "Here you go, sir."
Darien walks slowly across the room of the tavern towards the table where the others are gathered. He looks a little sleepy, but as usual has a slight smile on his face. "Rather early for such boisterous energy isn't it Fizz?" He slumps into a chair, though quickly straightens himself.
The young human is dressed in a fine crimson tunic with gold embroidered accents. Well made trousers and leather shoes with embroidery that seems to match the shirt complete the outfit. A very dark olive colored cloak - also of the finest material - covers him.
Though known for his ever changing wardrobe, Darien seems to be wearing exactly the same attire as yesterday. However, everything appears to be immaculate.
The hood of his cloak is pulled back so you can see his light brown hair - short and well kept. He carries a staff on his back, though he removes it before he sits. And he scans the two others gathered with his light blue eyes.
His eyes catch on the mug being set before Fizz. "What IS that stuff? Some new drink?"
To the half-orc server, just as he is about to step away he adds, “I could use a light breakfast if you wouldn't mind."
The half-orc shrugs and walks away, bringing back a pork, sausage, and egg breakfast platter (also on the house). What is Gilxina doing at this point, as everyone grabs their food?
Fizz looks excitedly at Darien as he approaches the table and acknowledges him, "What is this?! Why it's milk of course, as old as life itself. Comes in all sorts of varieties, there's cow milk, goat milk why my great grandfather said he once had milk from a dragon, can you imagine that!" He ponders this a little more and then says, "You should have some and apparently it's free today!"He looks towards the Half-orc as he comes back and asks, "Excuse me my friend, why is the milk free today? Not that I am complaining, I'd just like to know why we are celebrating!"

Having overheard the conversation, Durnan explains while cleaning a tankard, "The holiday of Last Sheaf is upcoming within the week, so we've been giving out the remainder of our stock last night and this morning so we have room for the wagonloads of extra food and drink we'll be receiving this afternoon. Besides,"- Durnan points to you all - "I respect the adventuring lifestyle."
"Regardless, any breakfast is on us today so we have space for newer stock."
Gadhan is in a room somewhere, in the bed, with company of two women. As he comes to head at the foot of the bed he looks up and over his shoulder and sees one of the women, 'ohhh yes her.' then looks over his other shoulder and sees the other woman. 'I don't know if I...' his thoughts to himself. He grabs his pants and cloak to put on. He wipes the sleep from his eyes then holds the side of his head as he puts his rapier and belt on while heading down stairs. Just as Fizz is going into details on Milk.
As the Galiath sits down he looks to Fizz and says "Why are we do loud this morning Fizzy? You are being way to loud. To the half-orc server he asks "Can I get the hang over special?"
The half-orc answers with a "right away." But in a more quite voice, to which Gadhan asks "Why does everyone have to be so loud this morning?" And shoves a finger in each ear with his eyes closed.

Meanwhile, what is Darien doing within the Yawning Portal?
(above game: I meant six heroes. I almost forgot Darien, apologies)
Darien walks slowly across the room of the tavern towards the table where the others are gathered. He looks a little sleepy, but as usual has a slight smile on his face. "Rather early for such boisterous energy isn't it Fizz?" He slumps into a chair, though quickly straightens himself.

"Regardless, any breakfast is on us today so we have space for newer stock."
Anyone in attendance can roll a history check to glean more about the holiday of Last Sheaf.
And while that's going on, would Gilxina, Robin, and Gadhan introduce themselves?
(Above game it doesn't have to be in that order, you just need to introduce yourself.)
Gadhan is in a room somewhere, in the bed, with company of two women. As he comes to head at the foot of the bed he looks up and over his shoulder and sees one of the women, 'ohhh yes her.' then looks over his other shoulder and sees the other woman.
