Logan rushes forward moving decisively towards the runaway horses. Just at the right moment he jumps at one side and hops into one of the two leading horses. grabbing the reins and start to pulling in trying to stop them.
But the other one still running in fear pushes him. Then, a fearful tortle steps himself in front of them and orders the other horse to stop.
Neighing both horses being to stop raising their front legs and kicking in the air. The other two follow the lead of the front ones and the carriage finally stops before the horses stomp Dr. A.
Smiling to one another they start to hear a beautiful song. The strange creatures that are flying over them seems to sing... and it's a nice song. Appearing from the same turnaround of the road a group of five Purple Kinghts are fighting off almost double the number of creatures, a group of four maybe five more are moving towards the carriage and the party.

Gorm initiative; 10 (sorry, meant to post but didn’t have time initially and then life and time caught up to me… Let’s just assume Gorm took a futile swing at the flying beast or such…)
As the carriage stops, Logan looks for a place to pull it over to the side of the road (away from the cliff and perhaps where there might be a bit of cover from the aerial attacks). He calls out, "Doctor A! More creatures approach! Is their song dangerous?"

Dr A racks his mind to see if he can recognise the creatures (Nature roll = 7) {OOC rolled a '5' in case we get a cheat banner] and realises he has no idea what they are or what they can do. He calls back to Logan "ahbut I don't know but I don't think they're doing it to entertain us! So be on your guard! I'm going to check on the passengers in the carriage" as he looks into the carriage to see if he can help in anyway. Once he assess the situation he either:
a) uses his medical skills (Medicine = 10), or b) casts Cure Wounds - healing for 12 depending which he considers to be the best option.
”Lock the door behind you and protect the prince! I’ll hold them off from up here!” calls Logan to Doctor A. as he sees the tortle disappear into the carriage. Moving from the horses to the top of the carriage, Logan puts himself in a position to intercept any foes who might try and get at the carriage doors. He readies his shield and draws his Longsword in preparation for the oncoming attack.

Gorm curses under her breath as Logan leaps to the top of the carriage, as she herself had been heading that way hoping the added height would help put these creatures within range. Swiftly changing tactics, she instead goes besides the carriage to guard the door so that these things cannot get at whoever is inside, if that is indeed their goal.
Drawing a scimitary in her off hand, Gorm draws a handaxe in the other and stands Ready to throw the axe at the first of these flying things to come within 20 feet of her. ((Readied actionL. Throw Handaxe once harpy in range...))
Two of the harpies dive into the impromptu defenders of the carriage.
Gorm throws and axe to the first one and hits her in the right shoulder, but it doesn't stop her dive. Still, the strength of the impact makes her change the course of her attack and she misses Logan who, despite the fact of being ready for their attack, can't connect a direct hit on the beast as it swoops by. She lands at the edge of the carriage's roof but she doesn't fall, but hovers there, gettin gready to fight Logan, despite the wound on her shoulder.
Another harpy follows behind the first one, droping into Gorms, but the agile warrior dodges the attack and produces a second weapon to fight it in close combat.
Still it is hard to ignore the call of the singing of the other two, which remain flying circling above their heads.
Inside the carriage, Dr A. finds that, even a fancy carriage like that, it isn't designed for the people inside it plus a corpulent tortle. Making a young adolescent man, wearing silk purple and royal blue, moving aside to accommodate his shell, he focused on a woman that seems to be unconscious in the seat in front of the boy. A quick examination of the woman reveals to Dr. A. that she had just fainted, probably due to the stress of the situation and the panic that it has induced on her. He gently slaps her cheeks and she promptly. starts to wake
( Dr A. your turn! If you peek outside you see your two friends looking up with an absent look in their eyes, lowering their weapons and starting to follow two of the creatures towards the edge of the cliff. Logan and Gorm can roll another ST at the start of their turns due to be walking towards their deaths... )
Dr A yells out the word "STOP"casting Command at whichever of Logan or Gorm is closest to the cliff. He then clambers out of the carriage and runs - in so much as an old Tortle can run - at the nearest of the two. If he can catch up with them he just runs into him attempting to knock him off his feet.

Logan:
He didn’t remember getting off the carriage and starting to walk towards the cliff. He didn’t notice that Doctor A was headed towards him…and Logan is definitely not great at dodging…

Unfortunately the carriage fills almost all the path space, Logan has no place to pull it over.
A voice, of a young man comes from inside the carriage.
"Hello? Who's there? Ada has passed out!" the voice says with some concern.
The creatures swoop above them and prepare to go down.
