Xanrym’s voice drowns out the yells from inside the store. Everyone hurries back to there houses and does not interfere.
Xanrym escorts Micah back to the livery stable. He runs inside crying to his mom, happy back to relative safety. You see over in the stables Kilian poke his head quizzically while getting the horse ready.
Your all up, Xanrym is at the livery stable with the confused family, while the rest of you are inside the store with the final man getting ready to scream again.
Seeing Micah safe back with his mother, Xanrym goes to Kilian and, speaking quickly, explains the situation. He says, "I'm sorry. These are dark times, and there was trouble at the store. Micah saw some things that scared him, but he's with his mother now. He's safe. Avery protected him, but Micah saw Avery attack Isiah. I don't think Avery would take such a step unless Isiah attacked or threatened them first. Know that Isiah is a member of the evil cult that has been slowly converting the people of Orlane. Cirilli confirmed it yesterday after we rescued her. Do not leave any of your family alone with Isiah or anyone of that family other than Cirilli."
Xanrym is worried that if the party leaves any of Isiah's family alive, they may come after Kilian's family next. He hands Kilian a sack of coins and says, "We'll be back later for Heckle, but here is the payment. It may be safer if you're not seen to do business with us willingly. When you see us return for the horse, try not to be nearby. We'll just come and take Heckle. If there are other villagers around, we may make a bit of a show of it, as though we're stealing the horse. Now, I must go make sure my friends are OK."
Xanrym hardly waits for Kilian to acknowledge everything he said before he turns and walks briskly back across the road to the store, listening for sounds of a fight.
You are unable to talk him down. You get the feeling that his screaming is very performative. As though he’s not actually worried about his family, more that he wants people to think you’re all monsters.
Xanrym - Kilian looks confused but seems willing to follow your orders for the moment.
Xanrym hardly waits for Kilian to acknowledge everything he said before he turns and walks briskly back across the road to the store, listening for sounds of a fight.
(OOC: I suppose by the time Xanrym makes it back to the store, he finds Avery, Theldrin, and wolf Liarin standing over Isiah and 4 other unconscious men?)
Xanrym enters the store, surveys the scene, and says, "Oh my! Five more cultists?! The jail will be overflowing!" He sighs and moves quickly back to the door of the store. If there's some obvious way to lock or bar the door from the inside without a key, he does that first so that other customers do not arrive while they're there. If not, he'll stand in front of the front door to block anyone who tries to enter the store.
Xanrym says, "I think that I prevented any curious villagers from heading this way, but I'm sure that someone will come to check on Isiah eventually, probably some other cultist." He suggests quickly gathering anything from their shopping list that they can find here. Then they need to figure out what to do with Isiah and the other cultists. He quickly lays out the options as he sees them:
Kill them. (But he still hopes that they can free villagers who are under the naga's spell, especially Cirilli's family.)
Tie them up and leave them. (But if the party doesn't get out of Orlane soon, that means that they'll just have to face them again.)
Tie them up and take them to the jail. (But is there even room in the jail?)
The party could work with Wraven and Lldryk to move all of the imprisoned cultists to the dungeon under the Temple of Merrika. That would probably hold more prisoners, and perhaps Wraven and Lldryk would be able to defend the temple with the help of Toska and Maajid. But doing all of that would probably delay them in Orlane for at least an entire extra day.
Theldrin greets Xanrym with a wry grin, "No Sleep spell needed..." He sighs as he ponders the implications, and what to do next, "If there's room at the jail, I suppose that would be best. Or maybe we should focus on getting everyone out of town that we know hasn't turned yet? Though I'm guessing they won't want to go."
He then quickly looks through the store for the items on the party's list.
Avery is going to search the man and his sons for anything that could be used for intel on them. Then he will help drag them into a cell for now, until the party decides where to place them. (Perception: 15, investigation: 13)
Liarin shifts back to human form. "I think the situation in town is way too far gone to manage. There are too many cultists, and too much fear and paranoia to control. We need to do whatever we can quickly to give those not currently under the naga's sway a chance to survive and go as soon as possible to the Rushmoors."

Theldrin....quickly looks through the store for the items on the party's list.
The list:
For Xanrym
2 days' rations (1 gp)
2 x flask of oil (0.2 gp)
10-foot pole (0.05 gp)
Mirror, steel (5 gp)
Caltrops (1 gp)
Antitoxin (50 gp)
Acid (25 gp)
Avery
rations
flasks of oil
more torches
flint and steel (tinderbox)
Shared (healing potions)
Up to 8 potions of healing (or as many as he can get if they don't have 8) (N x 50gp)
@drumdigby already said that we cannot get any of the "weapons and armor" at the general store. We'd need to go over the blacksmith's shop to look for those.
Liarin shifts back to human form. "I think the situation in town is way too far gone to manage. There are too many cultists, and too much fear and paranoia to control. We need to do whatever we can quickly to give those not currently under the naga's sway a chance to survive and go as soon as possible to the Rushmoors."
Xanrym agrees with Liarin. He's worried about leaving non-cultists behind, but he's more worried about getting bogged down in Orlane for too long. He proposes that they go to the blacksmith's as soon as they finish gathering supplies in this store. Then they should get Heckle (their horse) and Ramne (and his squirrel) and get out of Orlane. Before nightfall, if possible.
Then he will help drag them into a cell for now, until the party decides where to place them.
There are 5 people. (Isiah and the 4 young men with clubs.) The party would need to bind them and drag them there or march them under open guard and threat of violence to the jail. The jail cells are 250' west of the store. We only have to pass a couple of buildings to get there, but Xanrym is worries how they're going to get all 5 men to the jail without another fight. Unless Avery just takes one man over there at a time while the rest of the party guards the ones in the store. But, of course, that will take longer.
Avery suggests, while time consuming, moving them one at a time. He knows that the town is on edge, and it won't take much for a false rumor to get everyone spun up again. "I say move them one at a time, under my direct control while you hold the others here."
Avery will take the adult male first, Isiah, making sure he is bound and gagged. Then keeping his hand on him, will direct him towards the jail. He will keep an eye out for any trouble, or someone trying to intervene.
Avery - You search the family, as with most of the cultists you've searched there is no money on them. However on Isiah you find another snake's tooth, and a note. The note reads, "Brother Isiah, with Chosen Child Misha dead and Brother Grover captured, we need to move quickly to enforce her will within the town or risk losing all we have worked for. The Naga's Teeth will strike tonight. We will capture this Mayor Ormond and being him to her as a matter of priority. He will be with us and returned to the town within the week. Cause as much chaos as you can tonight at the jail, create a diversion for us as we capture the mayor. As for these people who killed our beautiful Misha, fear not; we will be back after turning the mayor to deal with them. They will die quickly and painfully, for her, for the darkness." The letter is signed, "High Brother Jarvis"
Xanrym - You rummage through the store. There are no magic items in this store (so no magic items), but everything else on your list can be found here. You can add them all to your inventories as you wish.
As for your current plan, it is going to take all the rest of the day to do this. Also, it's going to take a lot of good rolls to get these unconscious (and assumedly gagged and bound) men to the jail without being seen by anyone. Before I let you all action this, I thought I should let you know the reality of the situation.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Assuming Avery shared Isiah's threat toward's Micah's family, Theldrin is concerned what might happen to them if they don't do something with Isiah and his sons. But also sees the wisdom in Liarin's suggestion. If he has time while the party debates the next move he will look for any secret storage areas in the store.

Roll a Persuasion or even Intimidation check for me please Xanrym.
Also the rest of you still have the final son to deal with.
