This will be a casual campaign starting at level 1, where your characters will travel through the 100 Dungeons of the Blood Archivist, a magical network of unique and challenging dungeons. Each dungeon can be treated as an individual one shot, so there will not be too much commitment, however there will be an overarching storyline that will take you all the way to level 20 if you complete all 100 dungeons. Since there isn't much commitment needed and therefore not everyone will always be available, I'm happy to have a larger party size that can be separated into smaller chunks, though ideally no more than 10 players.
If you're interested in playing please put below your character sheet if you have one made or just your core stats, race, class etc instead. Please can you also put your time zone if you're happy to share as that makes things easier with knowing when people may be available. Looking forward to seeing if anyone's interested and if you're willing to take on the challenge :)

Hey there, I'm not sure about your character creation rules but here is a level 1 fighter I've got. I also have a level 1 tiefling wizard that might work well. I'm in Central European Timezone.
Awesome, really glad to see someone interested, both your characters look good so whichever one you prefer is fine, personally I think the Wizard looks better but I really don't mind at all. For character creation, you can use anything from any of the official rulebooks and any of the three methods to generate stats (Standard Array, Point Buy or Rolling). I'm in British Mean Time (I probably should have mentioned this in the main post lol)

Wow, great to see so many people interested! All of your characters look good, don't worry about having two rogues since there might be more players interested that can help balance that. Since there's five interested players currently, I'll leave this thread open for about another day to see if any more people want to join, then I'll close it and we can get started! :)

Question: Which stat-generation method do you want?
Will have a tough time on weekends for a bit (open to being botted if necessary at those times) but got a couple ideas in mind. Could be interesting. (Leaning towards a warlock.)
Timezone: I'm in the US. So that gives a general idea.

Literally any method is fine out of Standard Array, Point Buy or rolling to generate stats :) I’m really busy this weekend myself, so there might not be any progress made then, but the nature of the campaign means you don’t need to be active constantly, I recommend to everyone to check every day or two for posts that might need you, but otherwise there’s no set amount of posts required per day, though if anybody is inactive for over 10 days or so without fair reason, they may need to step back as they will have missed a lot.

All the characters look great so far, I’m considering closing this thread a little earlier than I first predicted as I don’t want to leave it open overnight for me and wake up with more people wanting to play that have joined whilst I was inactive. I’ll introduce the main plot and setting tomorrow which will open up tonnes of role play opportunities for people to pass the time and then we can possibly start getting into the meat of the campaign at the beginning of next week if that’s okay with everyone, as I’ll be totally free from then on.

Those are some really decent scores, I'm liking the Legolas pun as well, do you have any ideas on who your patron could be? I'm going to close the thread to further players now and will outline the campaign which should give enough roleplay to last the next few days until I'm more available to get into the main stuff.

158 years ago, the inhabitants of the land of Tyraa awoke to find the sky crimson red, and the clouds blackened like bruises. Written clear in the sky seemingly out of stars was a proposal, visible for all to read:
"Under the arch of the Aerod Hill lies the entrance to my domain. I have selected 100 dungeons across this land to be claimed as my own and added to my archive. It is written in blood and starlight that those who conquer them all will become the new monarchs of this land. Take up my quest, fight your way to victory, and claim all that this land has to offer!"
This was terrifying and confusing to the kingdom, and although the writing soon faded from the sky, its words sent shockwaves across the land. Many rumours and whispers about what it all meant were spread, until it all became sickeningly clear. The king had been murdered, and the Rod of Lordly Might he held had been stolen. It was written in the constitution that whoever held the rod would be the ruler of the land, and it did not take long for people to figure out that whoever turned the sky red had killed the king, stolen his rod and was now using it as bait to lure people into his sick game.
And the worst thing was that it worked.
Hundreds of young adventurers flocked to Aerod Hill to enter the gauntlet set by the mysterious figure now dubbed the Blood Archivist, and yet none of them ever returned. The King's Guard scoured the land for the perpetrators lair to no avail, and instead found that dozens of previously accessible dungeons were now impossible to enter from the outside, with all manner of hexes and wards turning them away. Eventually they gave up and declared that the only way to access the Blood Archivists inner sanctum was to complete the trial he had set, and the reward for whoever did this would be rulership over the land as was written in the sky. And so, a new age of adventuring began, as thousands quested into the bowels of the 100 Dungeons to become the new Monarchs of Tyraa!
To this day, no-one has yet completed such a task, yet now you find yourself at the base of Aerod Hill, 158 years on, hoping to face the challenge. The hill is a small chalky mound with blackberry bushes growing on the sides, however dozens of tents and even merchant stalls have cropped up around the base, filled with training adventurers hoping to complete the challenge. The focal point however is at the centre of the hill, where there is a large archway carved into the chalk, marking the entrance to the 100 Dungeons. Feel free to explore, roleplay and chat amongst yourselves :)

do you have any ideas on who your patron could be?
[[ Not really. Though I believe GOOlock is also the one where the patron often doesn't even realize it's your patron. But what could be thematic for the campaign? ]]
Standing at the hill's base is a drow. She has long white hair flowing down her shoulders and her gown flows in the breeze. She squints as she starts putting on some leather armor. "Not sure about the rest of you, but I'll be glad to be entering that archway out of this sun. It's quite annoying." She adds, "For me, figure it'll be a nice change of pace to try hunting for that rod. How about you guys?"
A halfling is sitting by one of the blackberry bushes, alternating between snacking and making sure her gear is ready. “Doesn’t matter to me if it’s light or dark.” She looks around at the small group currently gathered around the base of the hill in thought, and frowns for a moment. “Is anyone here going to have trouble if there’s no light?”
“Honestly, I’ve been having dreams about mazes lately, and I feel like I’m in the right place.” The auburn-haired, hazel-eyed halfling shrugs her shoulders, her chainmail making a decent amount of noise. “Not sure what for, yet. By the way, my name’s Aridrey.”
Another halfling slowly approaches the group, "Hey, my name is Hugh." He is spinning a brush in his fingers. "Are we all set and ready to go?" Hugh smiles at Aridrey and nods to the drow. His extends his hand to the elf, "What is your name ma'am?"
