Tony will extend a knuckle to bump the spirit, “Welcome back.”
Tony stretches, “So, what’s the plan here? Obviously, we can just fly back while everyone chills in the lounge, but we do have to deal with the whole... giant... thing...”

Amaruve nods sagely at the elemental's burbling. It's so nice to have someone you can really talk to sometimes.
Amaruve tries to consider the options for handling the giant. But the outcomes are too unpredictable to plan for. "The future... Unpredictable." He says. He'd rather address the challenges they face as they come. Rather than account for the unknown
Fiorello returns and relays what he found in the library. (In a nutshell, Porphyrion may have the ability to get the party out of this world. Tony will need to talk to his sister about that, though...)
You all fly back to the main island without incident. The lounge knuckle is emptied of all alchol and tobacco products, and the found children are stored inside. Brutus isn't thrilled about having a pocket dimension inside of his main cabin, but he soldiers through. In fact, all of the skippers seem a bit more stoic now. They've been battle-hardened, and they found themselves equal to the trials you met in this short adventure.
That is not to say that you came out of this unscathed. Cordelia is doing better, but she's... different now. Quieter, less ready to jump in with a quip or a reference to some obscure bit of Earth knowledge that you all don't understand. Even worse is Kyo, who has reverted almost entirely to his feline origins. Before you all left Laputa, he bounded over to FIorello with something in his mouth. Somehow the cat had managed to work the bug-in-amber pendant off of the top of the blackened staff. He deposited it in the aarakocra's lap, stared deeply for a few moments into his eyes, then raced back over to Cordelia.
You've received the bug-in-amber pendant, Fiorello! PM for details
The sky elves accompanied you for a while, perhaps just ensuring that you had no plans to set up shop in their ancestral home. After landing upon a forested island replete with truly enormous trees, the male elder (Narimel's father) approaches Amaruve.
"Your people provided a great service to this world," he says. Narimel is busying herself with her hippogriff's gear a short distance away, but you get the sense that her ears are tuned in your direction. He continues, "Our people will reclaim Laputa, or what is left of it. For you, shapeshifter... For us, it would be a great honor if you remained to help us rebuild. Though your blood is not our blood, your spirit is kin. We..."
He turns and coughs, embarrassed for having spoken so much. Narimel looks at you boldly, now, Amaruve: appraising.
As you look back at her, you hear Vasht: a whispered memory from years ago, "Narimel..."
(Amaruve, you've been invited to remain in this world and stay with the sky elves: a druidic race if there ever was one. What will you do?)
Taesn continues to flirt with Jean outrageously. The eladrin has been in particularly high spirits during this trip back. The biggest targets she ever had before you all arrived were giant storm eels; her babies took on a gods-be-damned planebreaker and an armada of flying robots and flew away with a barely a handful of scratches. She has big plans for her flock moving forward... Big plans.
Perspicacious, Chime has been your stalwart companion in all of this. The little spirit in the flask has begun taking a little bit of initiative. They've been helping to set up and break down camp without receiving explicit instructions first, and you get the sense that they are beginning to better understand nuance, as well... You stand with your shoulder against a tree trunk on the island of redwoods, eating an apple and staring out into the endless sky. Jean and Taesn are off god knows where. Tony and Fiorello are entertaining the kids. Amaruve is with the sky elves and they look as though they're deep in a serious conversation.
This has been a terrible leap, Perspicacious. By accident or design, your party has become your family. You've grown to care deeply for your companions, even the new ones, and what they experienced in this place was beyond the standard fare. Kyo and Cordelia may never fully recover from what they suffered here. Gordra's face flashes in your mind, and suddenly the loss of your old friend hits you anew.
Porphyrion has been following the party in their return to the main island, keeping a distance of a mile or so. Presumably, Tonya is still in control of the giant. There's no sun in this plane, but the sky has begun to shift toward a brilliant red-gold-pink. Night will be coming on soon. In an hour, maybe two, you'll head to bed and await the coming day and the return to the island. Tony has insisted on treating you all to a traditional dinner when you arrive...
(Last chance for roleplay with any other characters before returning to the main island! Prior to leaping, I've received a request for a "beach episode" dinner party with the Tony family. Does that sound like a plan?)
Jean, while worried about those of the party who have suffered during this jump, responds favorably to Taesn's flirting. She looks subtly around for somewhere with some privacy.
Amaruve nods as Deoch speaks, glancing over at the girl and over at the party occasionally. "A great honor..." he replies reluctantly.
The events of this leap have brought peril to himself, but moreso to his friends. Surely they would struggle more to carry on without his aid. In these last days he had thought much of the past. Memories long forgotten had resurfaced. Thinking on the past with the wisdom and knowledge of adulthood had raised new questions. New unanswered questions and an itch to solve them. Something happened that day...
Amaruve takes in the guidance of the mother, and holds it. He thinks of his youth. It had been so long since he had thought of his childhood. "I'll return..." One day the answers will be found, the world's will be set straight.
The power to control their path is finally within their reach. There is little for him at the Tower, if not answers, but here... This will be his home... "One day..."
The sky elves depart as night falls. They climb aboard their hippogriffs and leap off the redwood island, into the starless sky. As they diminish into the distance, it might occur to anyone watching that Deoch and Narimel haven't cloaked themselves in invisibility. Maybe they're confident in their skills in the air and darkness...
Or maybe this world is a little safer than the one you entered just five days ago.
... Amaruve: Your individual experiences were personal. You elected not to share them. ...
Amaruve tells Burble (the name the Elemental chose) all about his experience during the ride back. He tells him about the bird, the forest, and the bear, and the salamanders, and what he found when he returned.
"Anything I can do to help?" Fiorello asks of Tony. "I've been meaning to talk with you about this lounge knuckle thing. I find it quite interesting, yet know so little about it. And your sister," he thinks back on the brief encounter where he felt her mind, "How is it she came to control the giant?"

You arrive in your steam skippers at the island of the Spring Folk: Tony’s and Fiorello’s people. The island is enormous, larger even than the Castle Laputa (think: the big island of Hawaii). Taesn knows exactly where to lead you, though. She directs you to her farm, the site of your escape from this island four or five days ago. It’s early morning, but there is already a flurry of activity to be seen around the Festival grounds as you fly overhead. Looking down, you see Iron Guard members patrolling the town on foot and on large, two-legged, tan and yellow bird creatures (Tony and Fiorello recognize these as Kobochos).
As you arrive, you see a guardsman point upward in your direction and call out to a particularly tall and imposing figure wearing plate mail: It would appear that Captain Naz'k, the captain of the Iron Guard, is already here. You settle into the barn, and as you exit your vehicles the children come swarming out of Tony’s pocket lounge (and Brutus). They cheer and skip, glad to finally be home. Taesn hangs back to get the skippers settled into their stalls, and the party follows the children into the light of early dawn.
You are greeted by five members of the Iron Guard. Their weapons are drawn. While they aren’t menacing you with them per se, they look decidedly unhappy to see you.
The orc captain of the guard, , arrives on the scene. “What in the name of angry earth are you lot doing here?!”
A pair of Iron Guardsmen have started collecting the children, though a handful of the little ones have already darted away, apparently in the direction of their homes. In the distance you all hear a growing murmur coming from the houses surrounding the Festival Grounds.
(Looks like a tense situation... what's the plan, Stan(s)?)
Tony steps out of the cockpit and does a smug bow toward the captain, “Welp, job done. You’ll find that each of the children are accounted for. As per usual, you can thank the Tony family for our continued assistance in maintaining the peace and safety amidst the community.” Tony raises his voice on that last part, word of mouth goes a long way in this business.
