Backstory: After the war had ended HK-13 felt a lost as his controllers had long since been killed. So now he travels the land seeking to make a difference and find himself in the world.
Name: Zane Dracov Race: Human (standard) Class: Fighter (Samurai) Backstory:
Before the war's end, Zane was but a simple wandering soul. He found that he was a jack of all trades, being just above average in most things he did. So, choosing to go find something to do with his "above average" talents, he set out into the world. Hearing about the war and the wasteland it produced, Zane felt a great deal of pity for anyone stuck there. He never thought himself much a hero, but he still wanted to see if anyone needed help or if there was anything he could do. Thus, he directed his wandering towards those desolate wastes.
Class: Cleric (Tempest) - plans to go sorcerer as well
Backstory: A student of the temple ran by her parents -- After the wars the temple has since been less organized and more chaotic and taking on evil by delivering vigilante justice
Zugg grew up in the streets of a small town. All alone he was forced to do anything to keep himself alive. He would steal anything he could get away with and trade secrets to shopowners for food to give them an edge on their competition. But this only gave Zugg enough to get by in life and he wanted more. He wanted the life that others got for free. So he started planning a bigger mission by getting secrets from locals and finding a potential job, risky but if successful he could get the life he wanted for so long.
Impatiently Zugg set off on this job and managed to get inside, wandering about in a large building. But was caught by surprise when a trap was triggered. Guards spurred towards Zugg as he ran for his life, barely making it out alive. But the guards had seen him, so Zugg hid for the next few days. Rumors began to emerge that Zugg was now wanted, not by the law but by whoever owned that building. Zugg did not understand by because he did not steal anything.
Not knowing what to do Zugg went on a last 'shopping' spree for some food and left the town hoping to find a new home.
Small bit of back story: Zeekik uses his natural abilities, mainly flight and stealth, to help guide people through the wastelands. He is driven by a need to help people without the means to help themselves. After falling into a trap to help some people seemingly lost in the wastes and narrowly escaping with his life, Zeekik has become much more wary of strangers and is now much more slow to trust than he previously was.
Once the daughter of and apprentice of a smith. An accident in the workshop that crippled her father gave her a new respect for the craft. She now travels the land inspecting forges for maintenance and safety.
Backstory:Zeremon was born into a noble family of a knight, his mother a human and his father also human, their imfernal heritage dormant until Zeremon. Growing up in a noble knight family, Zeremon learned martial techniques from a tutor, and occasionally his father, and Zeremon strove for knighthood, learning about the gods and duties of a paladin from his mother. Right before the war started, Zeremon's father started down a dark path, becoming more cruel and cold to everyone. Once the war started, Zeremon's father attempted to have Zeremon attend in the war, first asking him, which he refused since he felt the war was wrong. After trying to persuade him he tried to have him attend by force, threatening him and his mother. Suddenly, his father drew his sword, and Zeremon and his mother quickly left, after Zeremon quickly retrieved his items through his flying capabilities. Taking refuge in a desolate cave, Zeremon and his mother waited out the war. After a while, Zeremon and his mother was discovered by a traveler, and where informed on the war and the destruction it caused, inspiring Zeremon to take up his old arms and venturing into the wastelands, to help the remaining part of civilization, and create new order and build new settlements in this wasteland for the rest of humanity.

That's just it, though... wherever people gather, whether in a big port city on the coast somewhere, or a small village out back, there will always be a need for hunters and cooks. Sharnad Stoutbridge learned his trade much like other hunters - eking out a living as best he can shooting for the pot and helping helping his cousin Mabel with the Shipping and Receiving desk at a dwarf mine. Until the war came along, and pretty much trashed everything for everyone.
Nix grew up fighting to stay alive using nothing but her wits, some charm, and a little bit of magic. Nobody would teach her magic because she was a nobody, so she taught herself. Stealing wizard supplies and notes, scraps of anything, just to learn more. That’s how she came to be caught, locked up until a woman freed her and the other prisoners. Now Nix travels from place to place while trying to avoid getting captured again. It is helpful to have a little friend to keep a watch from the skies too, in the form of her familiar Duke.

Backstory: During the war, Vayne’s village, like countless other was ravaged and burned to the ground. Vayne was lucky enough to survive. However, the destruction of the village and the massacre of its people, combined with the affluence of magic tainted the boy’s very soul and granted him dark power. This power has also affected his psyche, as he became quite apathetic. He now travels the wasteland, trying to hone his skills and to find a purpose.

Backstory: The war scoured the land and it's denizens. The light of hope was extinguished from the hearts of the people. Averin chose to be a beacon for those suffering. He devoted himself to the light, to healing the injuries of the land, either with his skills as a healer or burning away the lasting evils with the searing light of the divine. He was not fearless, just able to overcome those fears to aid any he could.
