--Stats (standard array) Str 8 Dex 13 Con 16 Int 12 Wis 16 Cha 10
Personality traits: I'm always picking things up, absently fiddling with them, and sometimes accidentally breaking them. I watch over my friends as if they were a litter of newborn pups.
Bond: I was told of a coming disaster and will do anything to prevent it.
Flaw: I am terrified of all reptiles
--A reason for coming to Phandalin, along with a little history/backstory: The leader of Ben’s Druidic circle sent him on a quest due to a coming disaster foretold in the future. If it wasn’t stopped soon the circle would be destroyed. It all started in Phandalin. Ben was confused why he had been sent, but apparently he was in the prophecy so who was he to argue with the will of the circle’s archdruid? (Will send more if asked)
Stats (point buy or standard array): Standard Array
A couple personality traits, a bond, and a flaw: - Personality Traits 1 - I’m used to helping out those who aren’t as smart as I am, and I patiently explain anything and everything to others. 2 - There’s nothing I like more than a good mystery.
- Bond I work to preserve a library, university, scriptorium, or monastery.
- Flaw I am easily distracted by the promise of information.
A reason for coming to Phandalin, along with a little history/backstory: Rasjhan has chosen Phandelin to put the final stages of his training to the test. He has been taught, studied and fashioned his body for many years now, and he has come to the fledgling human town to prove himself in the eyes of his master and maybe even find another worthy of their training...
Name: Elias Bleak Race: Half-Elf Class: Tempest Domain Cleric
Ability points: SA
Personality Traits: I enjoy sailing into new ports and making new friends over a flagon of ale. I stretch the truth for the sake of a good story.
Bond: The halfling Merin who help raise and guide me into the church of Valkur.
Flaw: After the storm that wrecked the ship, Elias gets seasick unless its very calm waters. This also makes him motion sick on really bumpy roads.
Backstory: Elias grew up on the ship called The Blind Dragon. He didn't know many people in the world, but those on the ship. One person in particular took Elias under his wing, Merin a halfling cleric of Valkur. On a run along the coast The Dragon was hit by a sudden and fierce storm. The sailors didn't have enough time to prepare for it and thanks to only Merin not every person died that day. Elias' world was rocked hard. Most of the people he knew were dead, his friends, his family. Over half of the total people in this world he knew were gone. Witnessing the power that Merin had received from Valkur, Elias chose that moment to seek it, grasp it for himself. As soon as they got to relative safety Elias dropped to his knees and prayed a sorrowful prayer to Valkur, Captain of the Waves, to help him not lose anymore friends to the sea.
A reason to come to Phandalin - One of the last ports Elias was in was on the the coast and he heard whispers and rumors about a dragon in the area. He had always been intrigued by the idea of dragons and wished to someday catch a glimpse of one of the powerful creatures. So with his sailing days over for now until he could find a way to stay on a ship with heaving his lunch at the railings, he departed for the city of Phandalin.
Traits: I'm confident in my training and do what I can to instill confidence in others. I also judge people by their actions not their words.
Bond: My tools were given to me by my master at the monastery. I will never part with them.
Flaw: I am superstitious -- A black flower growing under a tree means blood has or will be shed nearby.
Backstory: Abandoned as an infant for being born small, Domir was taken in and raised in a monastery. Domir spent his childhood learning to use his undersized orc build to his advantage. He trained rigorously early on and saw little results, but once he was able to take control of his emotion and anger toward the family and clan that gave him away, he began to excel in his training. As an adult he returned to his clan, laughed at by some and threatened by others. Domir was asked to prove himself to regain a place in his clan. He survived a 2 week trial in the mountains and returned to defeat Grakageth, the most renowned warrior in the fighting arena. Now, he is revered in his clan. For a while, he lived atop a dune outside the settlement, alone. He lived a quiet life protecting and helping those who need it, and giving hope to those who feel they were born out of place. Now, Domir has traveled to Phandalin on behalf of his monastery to retrieve a young girl who is to be given away as payment for service from the monks.

((I'm not gonna lie... It would be hilarious to have Ben in a group with a Dragonborn, Tortle, or Kobold or whatever. Lol))
