Our adventure takes place in the city of Neverwinter. Your characters could reside in or around the city, or could've traveled here looking for work and/or adventure.
The Wizard’s Tower Brewing Co. - a craft brewery known for its hoppy summer ales - is in dire need of help from a band of reliable, affordable adventurers. The owner has posted a job on the local notice boards and is calling in favors from friendly innkeepers all over town to spread the word. Your character may have heard about this work by examining job boards set up in the square, talking to an old friend or simply chatting to the locals over a pint.
Regardless of how your character found out about the job, you have been instructed to ask for Glowkindle at the Wizards’ Tower Brewery. The location of the brewery is clearly shown on the job listing.
So - you all end up standing together in the city center square. You likely don't know each other at this point, or maybe you do? Either way, please provide a brief description of your character and what they might say when meeting the others.
Once that is done, the party will head to the brewery.
Gotur smiles as he hands the carved horse to a street kid, who clutches it in their grubby hands before running away with their new treasure.
Well, at least someone in this city enjoys my craft.
He rubs his tools with a soft, oiled cloth to remove the shavings and bits of wood, before carefully stowing them in their places and rolling bundle up and stowing it in his pack. He stands up, stretching as he brushes the chips and shavings from his front and looks around.
Any looking at him would see a large half orc of moderate height, his shirt covering an ample belly, and tucked into a belted kilt. His physique could best be described as 'fat guy strong', and indeed he's made as much coin filling in as a bouncer at taverns as he has selling his carvings. He has a high forehead, his dark brown hair pulled back and tied, just a bit of orcish tusk protruding from his prominent jaw.
He stoops to catch the strap of his pack, slinging it over his shoulder, and grabs his intricately carved staff, settling the pack in place as he strides forward.
You see Venovar rush over to where the party is standing, panting heavily. You can see the sweat dripping down his forehead as he meets up with the group. He looks like he ran here from across town.
"Sorry I'm late! *huff* I had... a personal matter to *huff* attend to. Sorry I'm so tired; I had to run here. Where is everybody else? We should get going as soon as possible so we can get this job completed. I wonder what the job even is..."
Everybody can see that Venovar has an anxious expression on his face as he says these words. His eyes are twitching just a little bit as he looks for everybody else.
"I just get rushed when I need to get something done quickly, that's all. Also, I don't think I caught your name. What was it?" Venovar says as he calms himself down. "Sorry, I never introduced myself. I'm Venovar. Venovar Graphanis." He puts out a hand to Gotur.
Venovar, you notice some townsfolk walking through the town square, along with some various vendors selling common market items such as ceramics, rugs, small furniture and whatnot. It is around midday, in the late summer, and while the noon sun beams down quite warmly, it's not the warmest of days. (do you ever use the dice roller within these message forums? If not, it's totally fine, just wanted to ask.)
(will proceed to the brewery once all of the party congregates)
A Dwarf with black hair and beard walks up to the board. He is dressed in chain mail and his shield has an emblem of a cloud and 3 lightning bolts on it. a warhammer hangs at his side.
Seeing the other 2 standing at the board he will say: "Greetings to you good sirs. my name is Thorvin. Is there anything interesting on the board?"

(Out Of Game) I didn't even know you could roll dice in the forum chat. I'll use that instead; seems to be what everybody else is using.
Thorvin grins at his new friends and says: "A job at the Brewery you say? Now that sounds like a job I would find interesting! Mayhaps we shall see if the ale is any good."
Sorry I’m a little late everyone. Is there a way to make sure I get the notifications for this thread?
Anyway,
Once all of the other members had congregated a small cloaked figure walks out of the shadows of a nearby alleyway. Alton will walk up to the group taking off his hood revealing a short halfling man with shaggy blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Despite his mysterious arrival is quite jovial when he asks, “I couldn’t help but overhear you all are headed to the brewery for a job, and was wondering if I could tag along?”
