There is no one to challenge you as you make it to the stairway that's on the map you have two choices upwards or down below ground.

At the top, the steps are smooth and well made. As they descend, they become rougher, and make several turns, and descend about 20 feet The stairs spill out into a chamber brightly lit by one lantren hanging next to the entrance of the steps this area is empty the sound of dripping water.
Hewn stairs lay to the northwest that lead up about ten feet and to the southeast that lead down the same. The ceilings are ten feet tall. the cavern is 45ft long between stairs
There is a ten foot wide by 20ft long pool of swampy water in the middle where the cavern is its widest at 30ft and another tunnel leading northeast that feeds water to the pool
Azzure looks at the swampy water dubiously. Steeling himself, he'll approach the water and look inside it and near it for any tracks to see if he can tell if any creatures are inside or have been around this area recently...
You see a glint of metal underneath the brackish water then another deeper into the cave leading out of this cavern the water seems to be about 2ft deep the color is gold and the other is silver.
"Hmmm," the dragonborn grins greedily. If he can reach it easily, he'll reach for it. Otherwise, he will look for other shiny things. *exit to add: Azzure points out the coins before reaching for them “What do we have here?”
You see a sparkle of green on what looks to be a sandbar, deeper in the unhewn cave. Its all you can see even with your darkvision which is dim cause of no light there.
He shakes his head, trying to get the thought of treasure out of his head - made easier by the idea of going into a cave. “If our goal is to leave, that’s probably not the way.” He looks south, and nods. “How about that way?” he asks quietly.

You come to ledge dividing this area it's a 15-foot drop. A wooden, crank-powered crane has been set up for lowering heavy crates of treasure down to the lower area. A wooden ladder is lashed to the ledge for climbing up and down.
