I'm a KotLC nerd so I thought I'd put this idea forwards: A KotLC style campaign. Instead of the night Fitz found Sophie, six individuals were found instead. These are you.
How to join: Make a 3rd level elf character that is 13 years old. At fourth level, instead of taking an ASI, you'll take a feat instead. This will be a custom feat that I design with you in PMs to fit getting an ability. You have a 1 or so paragraph backstory about where you came from.
Character name:
Subrace (no dragonmarked subraces):
Short backstory:
Genetic parents:
Future gaurdians (think Mai, Della, Edalline, or someone new)
Future Abillity:

I really like KotLC, and I would like to express my interest as well. However, I would like to know if the campaign will be a PBP on DnDBeyond, and if so, how often we should be posting.

All stars fade. Some stars forever fall. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Homebrew:Magic Items,Monsters,Spells,Subclasses ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If there was no light, people wouldn't fear the dark.
Backstory: Callon grew up with human parents, Ben and Leah Avery. The family lived in Woodland Park, Colorado, where the young Callon grew up learning to love nature and all of its creatures. He fell in love with fantasy and decided to take up archery, becoming prodigiously skilled for his age. At school, he was always smarter than most of the other kids, but certainly more insightful and sensible. He excelled in the GT program, especially in Science classes. (More may come later, just putting words on paper right now.)
Future Guardians: Potentially Vackers but I'm open to others too.
Future Ability: I haven't decided between Flasher, Polyglot, or Telepath. EDIT: (Or maybe Conjurer, the ability to be able to summon my longbow would be beyond useful)
Genetic Parents: Jolie Reuwen and maybe Mr. Forkle.
Here's a picture of him in my best imitation of a Level 2 uniform, holding his longbow.

I was thinking of making my character a technopath artificer, since that seems to make sense. I'll post the character's info later today.

Yeah. How did we get our class abilities though? I don't know many 13 year olds capable of 2nd level spells or knocking arrows from the air. Obviously our characters are special, just wondering how we got them. :)
I don’t particularly know. Maybe you avidly practiced archery or were in the boy/Girl Scouts? And maybe the magicy people were sons/daughters of magicians/

My idea for the artificer was that he'd been tinkering around with gadgets as a pasttime, creating new things.

Maybe. I guess we’ll just workshop it for characters. I really didn’t think all of this through

(I borrowed Amdirgol's format, since it seemed like a good way to go.)
Name: Avis Parker
Subrace: High Elf
Backstory: Avis grew up in the city of Winnipeg, Canada. School was barely an afterthought for him, and most of his time was spend tinkering with spare parts, creating new things out of old ones. His parents loved him, his teachers adored him, and he had everything he could have wanted. He didn't have any friends, but who cared about them, anyway? Sometimes, at school, he felt out of place, but other than that, his life was perfect. Until the day it all broke down. At the age of seven, Avis' parents were killed in a car crash, leaving Avis devastated and alone. He knew that he would probably be brought to a foster home, since his parents hadn't had any living relatives. But he didn't want to live a new life. He didn't want to forget his parents. So Avis ran and ran until he was far away from his old home. His skill with technology made it easy to pay for transportation. It was if the devices told him what to do. For the next six years, Avis lived in a decrepit house in the woods. He sold his creations to pay for food, saving the most intricate of his inventions for himself, but he never made enough money to buy accommodations of his own. And even if he had, who would rent an apartment to a kid? Soon, Avis began to regret running. But it was far too late to go back. He would have to walk the path he had paved for himself.
Future Guardians: I'd be fine with anyone, really.
Future Ability: Technopath
Genetic Parents: Tinker and possibly Fallon Vacker

Questions: Ability Score Method?
If 4d6 Reroll 1s Never: Ability scores: 11 18 16 11 11 12
If reroll once: Ability scores: 12 11 10 13 12 15
If reroll always: Ability scores: 17 11 12 13 15 10
Are we starting in the Lost or Forbidden Cities?
Genetic Parents?
How did we acquire our amazing abilities? (Or is that supposed to be part of the backstory?)
Starting Equipment?
Thanks!

Regular starting. You don’t have abilities yet. Reroll always. We’ll start with a ‘montage’ of people finding out they’re elven.
