"She suspects everyone," Grace replies looking at Astrid seemingly unreadable.
Looking at Tyril with a sigh Grace reveals a little more.
"Loyal isn't deserved of that woman. She's the reason my husband is in Hellgate. He wouldn't have had to find money elsewhere. A man...well a man likes to feel a flutter now and then...," she sighs. "Could've gotten him out of trouble like I asked her but she wouldn't lift a finger," Grace says to Tyril a little tense and full of sass before covering her mouth as if she's said too much!
"As I said before," Kaz calls the attention to him. "Sheridan has got plenty of enemies in both the Old and New city as well as abroad," he says then looks to Anthix. "So, eager are we? I do hope caution finds your endeavours this evening for I think your task ahead is best managed methodically and not in a rush," he explains with a smirk and a cocked eyebrow. "Does that settle it? You have the map of the sewers as well as the lower basement. Ms. Copperpot will accompany you in your search until you reach the upper rooms but there will part company," he reminds the group. "I will add you're working for yourselves tonight if caught. If I hear even a whisper of my name or that of the Dregs...." he pauses his eyes heavy slits and serious, "you'll be on your own," he finishes curtly.
OOC: Anything else folks? If not we'll begin present time!

Quendar wrinkles his nose at what he anticipates will be an unpleasant beginning to their evening. Sewers.
”I am sure there is just an air of eagerness about some of us this evening. A case of pre-mission jitters. Once we begin you shall have no need of worry. We will be back with the emerald before the sun lights your window.”
"my lips are well sealed my good sir" Anthix grins and bows his head slightly before looking to the group to see if anyone had anything else to add or if we would be able to head out and start out great endeavor.
Oooooh Grace... Well I'll just pocket that little tid-bit for later...
Tyril smiled at Astrid, a more sheepish grin to let her know he had heard her loud and clear. He let go of the ladies shoulders and deftly spun around on his heels and clasped his hands together, rubbing them greedily as his eyes darted to Kaz.
"The first time I've been jealous of an emerald.. size of my head and if I dare say so myself it may even rival my own beauty." He laughed a bit, but quickly you see Tyril stand tall, hands placed on the hilt of a halfling sized rapier, a dagger hidden amongst his armor, with narrowing green eyes. "It will be done Kaz."

“But no living man am I! You look upon a woman...You stand between me and my lord and kin. Begone, if you be not deathless! For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him.” ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Return of the King
The first woman you see approaching wears dark brown leather armor, studded with burnished steel. Her tall boots are made of a matching material, as are the pair of leather bracers she wears. She wears dark gray breeches and a dark burgundy tunic, and has a gray shawl and hood. She wears a bandolier with several throwing knives, and multiple small pouches adorn her belt. As she approaches the table, she lowers her hood. She is a human woman, probably late twenties, with straight, stringy raven-black hair. Her skin is pale and her features are lean, with a sharp nose and jawline. Her gray eyes are intense as she takes in the group.
"Kaz, you are lucky that Kohuru is convincing. She claimed that without my aid, half of your team would be bleeding out before morn."
She glances around. Some of you, depending on how long you'd been working jobs in Zozobra, might have found yourself in need of a patching up without a lot of questions. If so, you would have found your way to the workshop of the woman before you. Hers was a strange place in the underbelly of the city... one room filled with sweet-smelling plants, herbs, and bright flowers all well-taken care of, the next dominated by an operating table with an assortment of bladed instruments and old bloodstains. The woman sits down at the table, still looking at Kaz.
"You are also lucky that I am low on... supplies... Kohuru also promised this job would set my books straight for months." She glances up at the other woman who accompanied her inside the room. "And allow some... interesting business ventures."
To those who don't know her, she nods. "Morgana Tanner, at your service."
Quendar rises as Morgana moves to join the group. He bows to Morgana, adding a flourish with his right arm.
"I usually find it best to avoid being at the receiving end of anything that would seek to bring what is inside to the outside," Quendar says.
He brushes a mote of dust only he can see of his spotless cloak.
"Blood is dreadfully tiresome and plays havoc with clothes. No matter how clean you get it, the fabric never sits right again."
Quendar looks down at Morgana's feet.
"The fact you did not make a single floorboard creak as you crossed the room is a skill that I hope will come in for more useful this evening than your ability to sew."
Anthix gives a slight nod to the new arrivals, listening to the welcome and observations that Quendar had made before turning to look the woman over fully.
"A pleasure to meet you and must I say what beatiful hair you have. As for bleeding out my dear, it just doesn't suit my scales at all! Plus it makes it hard to preform if I'm all bruised and batteted."
He gives a bit of a toothy grin adding the slightest bit of a chuckle to the words before turning his attention to the other newcomer.
Tyril peers over the other side of the room from his standing position behind the table, whipping his cloak behind him as he walks. He smiles and offers his hand, "Hello Morgana, heard of ya but never had the pleasure. Tyril Strongbones at your service and in hope that I won't ever be in dire need to require your services!"

Kohuru nods at Morgona but doesn't say a word. Meanwhile, Kotaro finishes his bowl of noodles with a great slurp of broth and beams at Morgana. The artificer is often in her offices. His adventurous mind always working faster than his hands and good sense.

To Quendar and Anthix, Morgana gives a curt nod. "I do well at keeping my patient's blood where it belongs." She absentmindedly brushes the collar of her dark red tunic, before poking the cloth below the heavy leather gorget. "And, making sure those who mean harm to me and mine have thier own blood split."
She glances at Kaz, then looks to Tyril. "Well met, Tyril. I hope the same. Raven Queen willing, neither of those talents will be required tonight."
To Astrid, Morgana gives a curled smile, her own response witha bite of sarcasm. "If you and your favorite barmaid would like to take the role of distraction... or snack... for the guards and thier dogs, I'm sure that can be arranged. Could be entertaining for the rest of us!"
Returning her attention to Kaz. "Good. There was a bout of rotgut down on Coalrun Alley, and I've been hard pressed to make up the difference. Also, don't go to Coalrun Alley anytime soon. The smell is... something else."
Astrid is sure there is some ribaldry to be made of Morgana’s words, but disdains such lewdness in current company. She executes a bow with an exaggerated flourish. “I aim to entertain.”
The silver haired elf glides over to the group with grace, looking down their nose at the rabble. “I apologise,” she announces, striking a pose, one hand on their hip and the other stroking through their hair as their piercing silver eyes catch the gaze of each person in the room. They blink once between each person, revealing a swirl of colours on their eyelids mirroring their real eyes. With pout on their lilac lips, they seem in no hurry to finish their sentence, and nothing about their behaviour actually shows that they might be apologetic about anything. “But fashionably late is the latest fashion.“
At her last word she opens out her arms, a stunning cloak of many colours juts out like a peacock around a fine white ruffled shirt, you recognise her to be a performer in the local taverns. Anyone who’d seen her shows would know she’s a very conceptual artist, and prefers to be called an artist over anything else. She’s equally well known for her treatment of hecklers, which seems to have encouraged more people to try. It’s seen as a bit of a badge of honour to have been insulted by the Visage After holding her pose a few seconds she begins pacing around the table looking everyone up and down as she cackles “Gee Kaz, did you really call in all these people before me? I’m offended. I had to hear from Morgana. Morgana! No offence Morgy you know how it is.”She blows a little kiss to Morgana, followed by a wink, almost in a taunting way.
Taking a seat she addresses the others, “You can call me Vivi by the way. So how did this scoundrel rope you lot into this? Gambling debts? Bad public image? Just not good at any real jobs? I’m curious really.”
“I aim to entertain,” Astrid repeats, “And yet I find I am but a poor opening act for our diva here. Charmed, as always, Viv. Fashionably late and overdressed- or did you not know we are to enter via the sewers?”
"Yes, yes now the rest of the crew has decided to grace us all with her presence," Kaz trails off with a smirk before he begins again. "To summarize Ms. Copperpot will take you through the sewers, the lower level, and the upper level of the Virago's mansion before leaving you to search the two rooms upstairs where she thinks her mistress might have housed the jewel if you do not find it in the library or laboratory," he explains. "Now my brother Kotaro where has come up with a few gadgets for tonight," he then says gesturing at the younger Stagwell seated at the table with the party. "Please Taro let's not keep these nice people waiting any longer," he adds as Kotaro stands up with a grin holding a leather bag that he then begins to unpack on the table. "Kohuru," he then says and without another word, Kohuru leaps from her perch and ushers the party into the alcove to draw the curtain over the little room to provide more privacy for Kotaro's reveal!
"Right," Kotaro says with a jolly smile as he places things on the table.
Kotaro looks over the items proudly before stepping back from the table.
"I'd like the group to check in with these," Kaz explains taking one of the sending stones and leave the other on the table. "Decide who gets these items. I'd choose those who would find the items most useful and get started," he explains gesturing at the table. "The box is for the emerald which I suggest after finding it you put it in the box and into the bag of holding as quickly as possible," he offers. "As for Ms. Copperpot she will lead the way," he adds as the halfling nods looking around at the items then at the party.
"Yes...of course," Grace nods pulling her hood back on but waits for the party to gather the items.

Anthix just nods at Morgana appreciating the fact she would hopefully hold true to her words and keep the group from spilling their blood all over the floor before turning his attention to Vivi.
"well Vivi arnt you just the most curious little thing out there" Anthix rolling his eyes a little bit and smiling to soften the action if seen by Vivi, just looking her over at all the bright and bold colors adorning her body. "my word we are sneaking in and you're brighter then a peacock in a murder of crows..."
Anthix finally turns his attention back seeing all the items being layed out before looking back to the group to see who might take what. He turns his attention back at Kaz giving a smile "well thank you for the gifts and rest assured we will get you the emerald back post haste, hell we might even make it back in time for another cup of tea" Anthix laughs a bit having just finished the cup he was working on before getting up, looking to the group and nodding "well then... Shall we!"
