"We already finished the bats. So next is the lizards? Good, I just want lizard skin for my new boots" Lucy will bring up the rear of the party and protect Bree from behind. Also she would take the guard roll after Garavant, it would be still dark and just the time Lucy finishes her trance.

Garavant is glad to take a turn at watch, using the amazing blessing provided by Gruenic to sharpen his night vision and keeping his eyes and ears as open as he can.
Sila will look for a water source along the way to refresh their waterskins and do some hunting or ask to pause for fishing depending on the terrain. survival13 If the water looks safe, she with pull out her soap (slicing it into pieces for the others as they wish) and wash up. If she feels safe enough to bathe, she will make sure someone is able to watch her gear before she does so, but would have to be absolutely positive that the area was safe before wading in, conscious of the amount of blood in her clothing. Otherwise will wash up at the bank. (Leaving clothing on to wash along with her provided weather is reasonable. Fishing done before bathing to allow for observation time. All of this is done quickly vs leisurely and during a typical stop time so as not to delay the group.)
"Upright Lizards? Could that mean dragons or something similar? That's the first that comes to mind. The bats, I agree are likely those wicked flying things. Even the Orcs hadn't gone below too long before us." She says to Gruenic and the others.
"Bree, before I return to sleep during my watch, I can give you Darkvision for an extended time. Gruenic's should extend that for an hour if you watch with Garavant. I will touch you lightly and try not to wake you, just don't want you to be alarmed. Then you will have it for the remainder of the night."
Just after Sila's watch, as she's rested enough for a short rest, she will touch Bree lightly hoping not to disturb her and cast Darkvision giving her an 8 hr duration of 60'.
"I wouldn't call 'Dragons' upright lizards. Though they might be dragonborn. I've also heart about a humanoid race called 'Lizardfolk' sounds like they would fit the desciption." (History: 19) (possible edit if high or low roll)
When Sila offers the darkvision Bree says: "You guys are A-MA-ZING. I once read about a spell that made you see in the dark and was considering if I needed to learn that, but it seems I can focus my studies on other things for now!"
During her watch with Garavant she will prod him on his feelings towards the killing of sleeping/surrendering orcs: "Hey, you okay? How are you holding up after killing those orcs? It's hard to kill if they are defenseless isn't it? Guess it's part of the job... Hopefully we will find amazing treasures and magic in the chambers below!"
Gruenic yawns frequently, hums a strange tune that frequently mentions the moon. He frequently mentions the moon and aspects of the moon as they travel.
I see, the bad moon arising. I see, trouble on the way. I see, earthquakes and lightening. I see, bad times today. Don't go around tonight, Well, it's bound to take your life, There's a bad moon on the rise.
After his shift, he smiles at Sila and Bree, says "Nighty night!" He seems at peace and relaxed to be among new friends.
Sila finds a stream to catch some fish and to wash up near to the camp but shaded enough by trees to provide cover and privacy.
Bree ponders the potential meaning of the term ‘upright lizards’ and thinks that the group between them have probably covered most options that she knows of. However, she has also heard of troglodytes which might match that description.
Gruenic’s shift passes without incident, everyone enjoying either the sweet embrace of sleep or the half-orc's impressive singing – which seems like a soft credence to drift across the clearwater of the nearby river and aid your revival (OOC: sorry I couldn't resist). The cleric’s vocal exertions distract him somewhat but the shift passes without incident.
(Everyone process a Short Rest)
Sila takes over after guard duties and keeps an eye out over her friends. She has been guardian for about an hour when a snapping twig in the surrounding forest draws her attention; that was no woodland creature. As the half-elf monk strains her eyes and ears to make out the source of the noise, she hears a metallic clanking followed by grunted noises of admonishment; at least two people are approaching, around 60ft to the east of the camp, and they are trying to be quiet – and they are armed!

Sila calls out an alert to the group loud enough to wake them, but not beyond that and giving a firm nudge to those close to her foot or elbow to emphasize keeping hands on weapons. "Something incoming! 2 or more Humanoid, armed and armored coming in from the east. 60 feet away, attempting to be sneaky."
@dm assuming in common? And people for sure or undetermined?
Initiative roll 9 as sneaking up on someone sleeping means bad news for her. Dagger to each of the first two she sees if she can catch at range. If she can't attack until melee range, she will adjust to Shortsword/Dagger only altering damage for first to this roll if applicable 5
Dagger 1 Attack: 10 Damage: 7
Dagger 2 Attack: 23 Damage: 4
Earlier in the night...Sila skewered and roasted up the fish for anyone interested. Pleased that Gruenic had mentioned the darkvision or she'd not have thought to use her own for others, happy that its helpful to Bree. This brings her to thoughts about other things upright lizards could be, slightly cheered by the idea that they aren't likely dragons. Following dinner, feeling greatly refreshed by her brief bath and cleaner clothing, she drifts off to sleep to the soft melody and vision of the moon reflecting over the water. Grateful the Orc has a pleasant voice but later in the night ponders if he was trying to tell her something.

Gruenic hears the movement and is awoken by Sila. His hand goes immediately to his war hammer and he picks up his shield. He channels his divinity and uses his Twilight Sanctuary feature, granting everyone in the party within 30 feet 1d6+3 temporary hit points, steeling us for an incoming attack. He gets in the middle and assumes a defensive position, tries to spot them in the night with his dark vision.

Sila’s warning wakes the rest of the group and puts everyone onto an action footing – please roll for initiative and declare actions.
@Gruenic: Your actions in post 671 will be your first turn although you are welcome to change it when you see the initiative order – please confirm either way.
@Sila: You couldn’t distinguish a language, only the tone of anger or annoyance at the noise being produced. I used the description ‘people’ due to the natural deduction of intelligent language, weaponry and attempts at stealth. This would suggest humanoid but you have yet to see anything/one.
Intruder initiative roll: 18
Map (Noises are coming from within the black area):
Elves don't sleep. All they need is a few hours of meditation. And elves don't dream. They just repeat the memories they have experienced. For tonight's Lucy, it is the conversation she had weeks ago.
"…Have you lost your mind, mother! You can't do this to me!" "Of course I can. I am your mother and matriarch. I have the right to do anything for your well being,my love" "Don't use such cheesy words! You love only your power and pity coins!" "And by my power and coins, I raised you health and well. Believe me or not, I did everything for you,my little morning star. Mother knows the best. "
Lucy snaps back to reality when she hears Sila's shout. Her eyes are still bloodshot because of the indignation she re-experienced. Grasping her bow and arrows, the bladesinger searches for somebody she can release her anger at. "Who wants to die horribly tonight! Oh it's you!"

Action: Lucy will shoot the first intruder Sila attacked.
Sila crouches quickly trying to utilize the brush as partial cover before throwing her daggers as above and glancing about at the surrounding area quickly to be sure this is the only direction they are coming from.
((Won't be near a computer tomorrow, so feel free to ragdoll Bree along, she will probably firebolt anyone that's aggressive towards us. Though she might at first give anyone approaching the benefit of the doubt))
Gruenic straps on his shield and grabs his war hammer, his shield begins to glow faintly and he prepares to add addition HP to everyone for this upcoming battle.

Garavant hears Sila's warning penetrate his light sleep, and his eyes quickly open. He grabs his weapons and gets into a low crouch, moving toward the trees, attempting to hide amongst low branches and high grasses where he can strike any hostile intruders from the shadows.
Garavant springs to his feet and dashes stealthily across the road, taking cover behind a tree on the opposite side from Sila.
Their stealth fully ruined now, Garavant sees five orcsspread out in a rough line approaching the camp site. As they are no longer hidden, the whole party can see them.
Lucy lines up a shot on the lead orc and skewers him through the shoulder. He lets out a yelp and shouts to his colleagues.
@Gruenic:
In orcish he is yelling “Rush ‘em!”
The leader moves forward into the road – Garavant make an attack of opportunity as he moves past your hiding place.
The other four orcsmove up also, and all five of the orcs throw javelins as their attack.
(Randomised attacks: Two at Lucy, two at Gruenic saving the fifth until Garavant’s AOO is resolved)
Attacks on Gruenic: Attack: 18 Damage: 5 and Attack: 19 Damage: 8
Attacks on Lucy: Attack: 20 Damage: 4 and Attack: 16 Damage: 6
