EMERALD ENCLAVE “Interested in joining the Emerald Enclave? Come meet us at Phaulkonmere in the Southern Ward of Waterdeep.”
We headed to the Southern Ward of Waterdeep. When we arrived at Phaulkonmere, Melannor Fellbranch, the friendly groundskeeper, came to greet us. Phaulkonmere was owned by the Tarm and Phaulkon noble families, and was a gorgeous mansion full of animal and plant life. "Welcome my friends, and hello, Kasha! Good to see you again!" "Hallo!"she squeaked, waving. "Come! I will introduce you to Jeryth." Melannor says, waving you along. Melannor stopped just outside the mansion, and a soft, soothing female voice that was audible but disembodied, spoke. "Greetings my friends, I am Jeryth - Demigoddess and Chosen of Mielikki. Are you here to offer your services to our cause?"
Should you say yes, you would be initiated, given each a charm of restoration, and told your first mission:
QUEST:“The outlying farms of Undercliff to the east are being terrorized by a scarecrow come to life. It has slaughtered livestock, chased horses, and spooked farmers. No people have been killed as yet, so the City Guard is dragging its heels. Something must be done!”
Naumick shifts uncomfortably looking from one to the other of his party mates. The dwarf is not much of a joiner, but he's come to like these folks. That said, he'll be more than happy to help with the quest, but he's not looking for any secret decoder rings and iron-on badges. So instead, he offers an awkward smile while nonchalantly pushing Kasha forward toward the demigoddess. "Go get 'em, girl," he mutters lowly.

Avys smirks ever so slightly as he reclaims the book nodding his head at the dragonborn before turning away to meet Bruvir outside. "You're a very direct individual aren't you? Why is that?"
(I'm assuming this was directed at Bruvir?)
"I wasn't always." Bruvir grunted out. After a beat, he added in a softer voice, "Used to be quite philosophical if you'd believe it. But in my current... predicament, I only care about returning to my former self. Little else matters..." Returning to his "gruffer" voice (which was still rather squeaky), he finished with, "Now, if you're done here, lets be off. Hopefully the other places are more useful than this one." And with that, the little Giant, grabbed his hammer and began walking towards the nearest establishment.
"Hmmm return to your former self? That sounds intriguing. What changed? If you need my expertise, don't hesitate to ask....within reason of course." he nods and almost smiles "So where to next? another shop or should we check in with the group? I'd also like to meet with these Order of the Gauntlet and possibly Harper folks if you're interested. I'm no bard or cleric, but if they have purpose in fostering order and protecting the good then I would think they are my kind of people." he pause for a moment and walk towards the Tiger's Eye unless Bruvir states otherwise.
ENCLAVE (KASHA/NOM/FELI) "OuF!"Kasha grunts as Nom pushes her towards the voice. She looks around nervously, like Dorothy in front of Oz for the first time. "O-Ok! We accept!"she calls out, looking around.
Look at the map above. Just east of Waterdeep were the flat plains and farms of of Undercliff. We waited and strolled through the farms waiting for anything that looked like an attacking scarecrow.
Anyone else who wants to join i'll add your names above.
TIGER'S EYE (BRUVIR/AVYS) The Tiger's eye appears to be a private detective’s business that is unremarkable on the outside, its only distinguishing mark an orange-and-black sign featuring a cat’s eyes. Inside is a regal apartment dimly lit by flickering oil lamps. The door is locked, and visitors must knock or ring the bell before being let in.
"So... Hunting for another ghost I see. Couldn't they ask for something more... I don't know, fun? Like feed a bear or entertain some kids"
Feliara grunted as she looked for the twentieth time at those crops. It felt like they were missing some details, curcial ones she even dared to think. Crossing her arms on her chest, she looked at Kasha and then at Naumick before sighing. It was surely boring, though she didn't know if what was coming would be better. Ideas started to go through her mind as boredom took ahold of her: Maybe it was some dumbass trying to ruin the competence, or some kids who wanted to do bad things. Hell, maybe the owner who wanted the insurance money...
"Hm... Why don't we talk a bit about ourselves? I mean, I consider you two friends and I barely know anything about you"

"So... Hunting for another ghost I see. Couldn't they ask for something more... I don't know, fun? Like feed a bear or entertain some kids" Kasha popped her head out from a tall patch of grass like a gopher and laughed. "Ha! I've wrestled an alligator before, when I was younger! For money! At the carnival back home! I fooled everyone! KhkHKhk!"
It was indeed a beautiful day, but the sun seemed to hit a little harder along the grassy plains of the villages just outside Waterdeep.
"Hm... Why don't we talk a bit about ourselves? I mean, I consider you two friends and I barely know anything about you" "OuH!" she liked that idea. "Ok! Uh. Hm."she rose out of the grass and walked alongside both of them. she took a deep breathe, puffed out her chest, and speech'ed like she was reading a cue card. "Hi! My name is Kasha. I don't know my last name. My dad was human, and my mom is a fae. My dad raised me because my mother was never around. I was always getting into mischief as a child. I never finished school! Boy my dad was mad. Oh! I can turn into a whole bunch of animals! I joined this group called the Misfits when I was younger 'cuz I never fit in anywhere - but I'm on vacation right now! I have trouble paying attention, and I love chocolate covered peanuts! KhkHK! I eat them like they're going out of style. AH! And I hate water. So I never bathe or swim."
"Y-you don't shower? I swear... When we get back I'll make you to take a bath, even if I have to throw you into it myself"
Sighing, the elf rested her head on one of her hands before grabbing her lyre and playing a few notes. As a bard, it'd be quite disrespectful that she didn't accompany the story of her life with a bit of music. Playing some more notes, she started to talk with a melodic tone.
"Well, I'm the daughter of a mage, a really important one! I was raised by him and his teachers, which all tried to teach me how to be a mage. From the first moment, it was obvious that it wasn't my thing. Year after year they tried without any success. Feeling like a dissapointment, I started to travel around to see if I could learn it by myself. After a few years I met my husband, a dragonborn bard taller than a tree and stronger than a giant! He taught me all he knew and we ended up getting married. Time passed and... Well, aging took a hard blow at him and... Well, he died. Then, I kept doing the same, travel around learning magic!

Naumick grunts. "I come from the Dragonspike Mounts. My pa was a soldier. My ma worked the mines. She was the tougher of the two," he shoots a wink at Kasha. "No messin' with her. As if a machine - and a rather brusque one at that - Bruvir, with almost no introduction, repeated the same exact question as he had in the previous store: "We've recently moved into the old manor. Sylivar hurriedly catches up with the party with a mixture of tumbling and walking that surprisingly carries him at a rapid pace. He had stopped by the house to snag another drink - he promises it’s to help him in case of any danger - and had just caught up as the party was completing their lovely conversation about parents and other important things that never went away when you needed them to. “Sorry for being late, folks - it’s just a part of the trade. I’m one for letting old conversations rest, but I haven’t seen my old ones in over a century now - and I have no regrets. Not that I tend to have many.” He winks, springing to his two legs and balancing the quarter staff vertically on one palm. “So! What’re we getting ourselves into this time? I’ll take anything but the sewers. I never know baths could feel so good - they’re right about baths, Kasha, you know. You should try sometime.”

"Hi, Syl." Kasha coo'ed, happy to see him. "Oh, I have. About two or three times. It didn't go well." she hints. "No water for me-AAH!"
Suddenly, out of a large haystack, a living scarecrow erupted out from it, emitting a terrible scream, startling Kasha badly.
"Oh, shit!!" she cried!
Kasha: 17
Scarecrow: 4
“Did you do anything to annoy this scarecrow, Kasha? I never knew giant eagles qualified as crows.”
