The humans and kobolds caught in the shock wave are killed instantly. The only remaining kobold runs forward with its dagger drawn and tries to stab Valas, shrieking insults in draconic.

Kosef slows at the sound of the thunder and watches as everyone falls. He stares for a moment at Valas, but then the kobold attacks. Kosef steps into the swing of his sword: 20 to hit for 12 damage aiming to behead it.
Kendes pulls up short, wide-eyed, and takes a long look at Valas. "... The things money can buy,"he mutters under his breath, shaking his head. Still, in this case, he's glad that the power of wealth is on his side for once, particularly with the blue dragon menacing the town overhead. He takes a quick look at the corpses, rifling through the fallen enemies' pockets for anything of value, before hurrying after the others.
Valas stopped suddenly when his thunderwave proved so effective. He just stood and stared at the victims of his magic. When the kobolds approached he didn't even look at them but instead reacted by quickly casting a blue glowing Shield around himself until his new companions took care of the attackers. As others drew close he muttered quietly "I only wanted to push them aside..."

Kendes search reveals 5 gold pieces and a small ebony figurine in the form of a duck.
The keep is near. But another 5 kobolds and 3 humans are heading the same way, with the kobolds chasing a cat. One of them stops as the cat draws too far away, and fires a stone at it. The cat collapses.

Kendes resolves to hand out the gold as soon as there's room to breathe; he pockets the figurine for the time being. An ugly look crosses his face as the kobold drops the cat, and he prepares for yet another fight.
Kosef looks sympathetically toward Valas, but he's not sure what to say--he has no experience with magic and still worries about what his training has taught him--so doesn't say anything.
He does want to be sure the human following the kobold is a mercenary. He will look at them, trying to investigate: 4.
Sir Evendur walks up to Valas, a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Your consideration do you credit elf, but these raiders would burn this village to the ground lest we stop them, and stop them we will, whatever it takes brave Valas, whatever it takes"
Then a brief look of confusion on his face as Kendes hands him the coin.
"Ah, how thorough of you brave Kendes, loot from the village no doubt, we will return this coin to villagers if we ever reach that keep, they will need any help they can get to rebuild their village"
When he sees the new set of raiders he raises his sword "COMPANIONS, ONCE MORE INTO THE FRAY!" and charges off.
Evendur initiative: 1
(Well Evendur will be late to the fight again it seems. Btw sorry about Evendur being obnoxious about "looting" but he won´t notice it unless it is too obvious)
A silent Valas turns his head slowly to look Sir Evendur in the eye then nods in appreciate of the knight's words. The pursuit and tragic death of the cat shakes him from any further regrets for the moment and the elf looks back to see if the family following them is still safely approaching the keep. He also looks at the dead kobolds and mercenaries to see if they have anything useful, specifically blades, bows, etc.
(OOC: Are the villagers with us still doing ok? Also, do our dead enemies have any useful weapons? Valas doesn't start with a bow or anything and could really use a dex based ranged weapon, so he'll snatch up such things if he can. Thanks!)
OOC: The kobolds have slings and daggers. The humans have scimitars. Slings are probably not your ideal weapon, but they are dexterity based ranged weapons. Each kobold killed will have 5 sling stones in its possession (75 total, from the 15 you have killed so far).
(OOC: Evendur can do with his coin what he likes, he's got 1 to give back to the needy villagers if he wants, while the rest of us look on in pity XD)
Kendes veers off from the human in the heavy armor, trusting that the knight in the heavy armor will be well-matched against him, or at least able to throw his kobold and human prisoners at his opponent for the element of surprise. Instead, he focuses on the tiny but deadly kobolds, well-aware of how lethal they end up being when they work together as a pack. "Watch out for the kobolds! Sir Evendur, try to deal with that mercenary!"he shouts, just to be sure to share his thoughts.
Attack, southeastern most kobold: 23 Damage 12
(If that one drops,) He then advances on the next kobold, trying to fell it with a fist. Attack: 14 Damage: 7
Kipio seeing the group quickly moving on to attack another band of enemies before even having a chance to intervene in the last battle. "You all fight like you are possessed." Turning to Kosef, "You do these kobolds a mercy by finishing them so quickly with such a large weapon. Better for them that I don't reach them first." He runs behind Kendes attacking the same Kobold he would (if alive), with a Produce Flame.
The two kobolds are slain quickly by Kendes and Kipio.
OOC: Kendes and Kipio do enough damage to kill a kobold per attack. One of you can choose to attack the human instead, or we can just say you guys wanted to make sure one of the kobolds was very dead.

Valas hesitates for half of a second, not wanting to take more lives, but quickly surmises that inaction could lead to worse results, potentially even the death of one trying to help Greenest as opposed to one of these attackers. The quick elf leaps into action once again with a flourish of his sword as booming arcane energy envelops the human mercenary. (Booming Blade)

If the mercenary is standing, Kosef will attack him, trying to separate his head from his shoulders: 18 to hit for 14 damage.
He will look back at the family for a moment and then forward to the keep. Kosef looks specifically for the gate. He wants to see how it is guarded and how quickly they can get in.
"Kipio," he says, "I mean no offense by this, but how will we get you inside? Do you have a trick? Or are you from Greenest and already well-known to the guards?"

Death on the Water and Baldur's Gate Bodyguard
As Kosef beheads the last kobold Sir Evendur stops in his tracks, astounded by the efficiency of his companions.
"Ah, yes, well done brave Valas, channeling the power of mighty Torm. Another 1..2..3..pah, group of raiders defeated. Onto the keep!"
Kendes pulls up short, wide-eyed, and takes a long look at Valas. "... The things money can buy," he mutters under his breath, shaking his head. The human is dressed the same as the other humans have been, and carries the same type of curved sword. It is not hostile to the kobolds.
