"I couldn't care less who I need to share with. As long as it is warm." Keth says in a gruff voice. He wanders over to the fire and sits down muttering about never being able to feel his finger tips again.
"Yes, Keth, Banlan and I can share the other room." Zendrik responds. "Actually, if you have a stable, that would suit me well. I sleep better in the cold. If not, I'll make due."
"It's settled then! Thank you all for being so cooperative" Cora reaches behind the counter and grabs 2 brass keys with small wooden labels attached to them, reading 1 & 2.
"I think the cold is messing with your senses lady." She says as she looks at Luna up and down "That's fish stew you smell, good for you and keeps you warm... afraid we don't get many potatoes around these parts"
"As for stables, afraid you're out of luck. Even if we had visitors around here they'd often come through with sleds and dogs" She looks past the group of you toward the door that you entered through. "If you wish to sleep outside dragon-man, so be it.. don't think anyone would bother you out there. But you might freeze to death"
"Otherwise, take the first 2 rooms up the stairs and make yourselves comfortable.. we've been pretty empty for some time now, so I'll only charge you for one of the rooms. 1 silver piece for the night. And if I you're in need of some of our lovely stew, I can bring some up to yours rooms along with some wine for a bit extra"
"Fish stew sounds wonderful..." Rildayne says to Cora with a kind smile.
She smiles at Luna. "Thank you. The bed shall be all yours, my friend, my kind doesn't need as much rest as yours." She then points to the keys. "Which room are we choosing?"

"Oh, well if there are only two rooms, I suppose we should take whichever is smallest.
Zendrick, if Rildayne doesn't mind, perhaps you could share our room? I know you like your space. And I'm sure I can keep a corner of the room cool for you.
Good lady Cora, I should think we'll all be grateful for some stew, roast potatoes or no! And a pitcher of wine would be most welcome!
Will this cover it? And the silver for the rooms. It's the least I can do for my friends. I wouldn't have survived the journey here without them."
Luna will place 1 gold piece and 1 silver on the table.
"The lady who brought us here told us you'd had some trouble of late. Nothing too serious I hope?"
"Oh yes some wine would be quite nice. Thank you Luna. It is much appreciated." Keth turns towards Cora, "On the topic of trouble, I am a doctor should anyone in this village need aid. If there is ought we can do to help you with this trouble, please let us know."
"Don't like meat?.. Well I'm truly sorry dear but you won't get much aside from that out here" She looks at Balnan "We've got plenty of trout... and the occasional wild animal. We're quite lucky that Maer Dualdon hasn't frozen over completely, there's still plenty of fish to be had. If I hear anything about some vegetation, I'll be sure to let you know"
Cora picks up the gold and silver off the tabletop "Wow, gold. Truly, thank you. It really helps" Cora smiles at Luna, which quickly turns to a frown "I've had some problems with my son... He hasn't been acting himself and I am worried for his safety"
She turns her attention to Rildayne. "Do you happen to know anything about frostbite?... Does it make people... Angry?"
Rildayne's smile fades. "That's... worrisome." She says. She begins to bauble as she switches into her "witch doctor" persona. "As my friend says, frostbite is something physical, but if you think that this 'anger' is linked to it, it might be something deeper than that. It could be a curse... Your son might have unwittingly angered someone at the Winter Court, a hag or, best case scenerio, just some minor frost spirit..."
She turns to look at Cora. "Can we talk to your son? I need to look into his condition to know if it is anything supernatural related, and Keth here knows medicine. Who knows? Hopefully it is just a normal frostbite and your son just happens to be angry for some reason."

If what my friend here says is true and a spirit is afecting your son then i want to see as well. I consider myself quite learned when it comes to those kinds of creatures. But for whatever reason, it does sound worrysome indeed.
Zendrik growls slightly, "That sounds like something foul to me. I have little knowledge of the arcane, but would still be interested what the boy has to say."
“Look... you lot seem like you’ve had an exhausting day as it is” Cora says as she returns to a smile “Listening to me ramble would just add to that exhaustion. Let’s make sure you’re all well fed and rested. We can talk in the morning, yeah?”
Cora steps out from behind the counter, revealing her commoners dress with a winters coat wrapped around the waist. “I’ll go get that stew ready. Feel free to make yourselves comfortable in your rooms, I’ll be up shortly”
Luna will head up to the rooms. Assuming nothing surprising happens, she picks out her bed, and sets up a space by the window with a pillow for Zendrick. She chills the pillow with a tiny ray of frost from her little finger.
She then pours a glass of wine each for herself, Rildayne and Zendrick. She chills Zendrick's glass.
"Ah, it's nice to be indoors again."
Getting comfortable on her bed, she sips her wine and looks forward to the stew.
In his room, Keth quickly covers his bed with books. Muttering under his breath, "Frostbite that causes madness. This is fascinating. Could this be caused by the night? Something else? Can it be weaponized? Oh so many questions." (Can I make a medicine or arcana check to think of what could cause this?)
"Yes, there's nothing like travelling through winds and snow to make you appreciate the mundane things you always took for granted." Rildayne muses, agreeing with Cora.
She sits down and starts reading from a journal she has been carrying around on her backpack ever from before this started, sipping her glass of wine.

We had to share much on the way here. Sharing a warm room should not be an issue now.
Balnan says to Cora. He then turns to his companions and says:
How do you want to split up?

Do you have wine Cora? Please tell me you have wine. And is that roasted potatoes I can smell?"

"No problem, my draconic friend." Rildayne says.

Some wine sure would be great. Can you offer something besides the stew? I dont like to eat meat and fish.
