Grishkar pauses his wagon just long enough for two of his minions to sit to either side of their master. He orders another 2 to stand directly behind his seat. The last pair would sit at the tail of the wagon, ready to jump out. It was a posture he rarely used, but often came in handy when needed. His minions weren't good for much, that much he knew, so acting as fodder for arrows was the best use at present.

Yashin pulls his wagon up next to Grishkar’s and snorts as the wizard sends his zombies out “Looks like you can pick up some new friends, wizard. A whole town of them. Can you tell them to leave us alone?” Yashin looks around for any sign of threats. Perception: 15.

Ichika draws in a small breath as she takes in the sight. The glaive in her hand starts to glow luminescent light with the undead nearby. Can zombies roam around with no purpose? Does that mean their master is not nearby?

"Not likely," Grishkar rumbles from his seat. "Funny thing about these things: It's very proprietary. I think that's why people look down on it so much. Others don't like the idea of owning another person's body."

You all move onward down the Trade Way, moving further into the town. Callandra flies above, seeing nothing but more of the zombies milling around, clearly without purpose. The zombies that get near the main group do not bother them, but simply continue on their senseless movements. Callendra does not see much else from above, much of the town is in dim light, or even darkness, due to the shadow of the mountain range all about. Some of those shadows are darker than others, but Callendra does not notice anything of note as she flies overhead.
Those on the ground find nothing else of interest either. You move along the Trade Way up to where the main intersection is. This is the first road that you can take to go into the city proper. to the left is the inn, and a few other shops, while a main street of sorts runs off to the right into the town itself. The Trade Way continues ahead, heading onward and out of town.
Ssej moves back to the group, "Prepare yourselves, as I doubt we will get out of this town as easily as we got int." And with that he will move over to there one of the shops are, specifically one that seems to be magical in nature or sells weapons of a sort and continue to take a look around.

Kallandra descends to about 100 feet and points a fingers at Brock, telling him what she's seen and not seen from the air and asking him to pass it along. She never stops scanning the sky and the ground, looking for threats.

When you make an ability check that fails, you can spend 1 sorcery point to reroll the d20, and you must use the new roll, potentially turning the failure into a success.

Yes you can use magical guideance on this, as the 14 would definitely be considered a failure in the current situation.

Yashin drives up to the crossroads and looks down the road into town for any threats or clues to what may be behind the zombies. “We should continue down the Trade Way. The town is full of the dead. There is little we can do here and we are still in a race with others to find this artifact. This is nothing more than a ploy to delay us.” He flicks his reins idly and waits to hear his companions' response.
"Hmm I would have to agree with Yashin," says Brock after delivering the message from Kallandra. "This seems to be a play to slow us down from our mission," he says looking sadly across what is left of the town.
Yashin shouts to Ssej as he looks into the shops “Find anything useful over there? I am sure these townfolk will not mind if we help ourselves. After all, zombies have no need for coin. If nothing is there, let’s keep moving.”
Kallandra moves back and forth above the town, searching for survivors, but without much hope.
