"Your not bad elf, but lets see if this will end it," Brock says. You feel the same pull in your gut from a subtle levitate, but as your cloak begins to resist the spell you hear a grinding of gears and the bonging of a clock bell around you. With that you notice your cloak doesn't provide the usual protection your use to. Roll a straight save roll
As Aio starts to levitate off of the ground he replies "pesky dwarf, are you going to make me try? My apologies if this hurts."
Aio casts Steel Wind Strike to suddenly attack Brock with his sword in a blur before appearing right next to him. He then makes two more strikes with the sword before dashing away to a 40ft distance again.
Steel Wind Attack: 26 Damage: 37 force
Bonus Action strike: 24 Damage: 9
Hasted Strike: 15 Damage: 9
(My understanding is that Levitate wouldn't prevent teleportation, but if you keep your Concentration you can probably levitate Aio again on your turn. Could be wrong.)
Ssej is enjoying the fight between the two and clearly notices the prolific use of magic during the fight as he is used to fighting the Thayans.
They rely too much on their magic, as effective as it is, what happens when they are denied the use of it. Ssej thinks as he looks about the group watching the show and attempts to stealthily take a step back and hide among the trees.
As Aio strikes at Brock a physical barrier appears slowing down his magical strike on the dwarf, reducing the damage taken. As Aio darts away to his new position he begins levitating off the ground again as the bloody grinning dwarf looks at him. "HAHAHAHAHAAAA you a fighter I give you that, but don't forget if you can't willing move from that spot ya lose elf," says brock Brock not appearing to do anything else on his turn.
(exchanging a 5th level slot for 5 sorcery points as my bonus action)
(I didn't do myself any favors here by not preparing Dispel Magic and by casting Haste too soon. Oh well, still fun!)
Aio laughs, genuinely amused at floating off of the ground once again courtesy of Brock's magic. "Can't move says the dwarf. I knew you were up to something. Never trust a dwarf indeed!" Aio Misty Steps to the ground again and sprints towards and past Brock to a 40ft distance, slashing at his opponent with speed.
Booming Blade: 31 Damage: 13 plus 1 thunder Movement Damage: 9 thunder
Second Attack: 18 Damage: 9
Hasted Attack: 32 Damage: 9
Still laughing Aio asks "ha, very well done." "Shall we keep this up all night, or let another try a hand?"
(I think that makes it Brock's turn then, since Aio's turn was largely cancelled. Unless of course the terms of 'can't move' have now been met by being levitated and failing to cast a spell for this turn. Let the DM decide on that since we conveniently have an arbitrator? haha. Good fun either way!)
(Fair enough hex. Good fight, had a tough time pinning you down. Your definitely the more offensive incline of the 2 casters.)
As the elf hangs in the air going nowhere Brock says, "Well I think I've fulfilled my objective. What say you elf, will you yield to this humble dwarf?"
Ichika watches the two duel in awe. She's amazed at the speed Aio has been zapping around and how Brock held his ground. And of course the spicy comments. She nudges Yashin beside her, covers her mouth and whispers, "They are duelling, not flirting, right?"

Aio does a bit of a bow mid air and gives Brock a nod that he yields. "Well done, dwarf! We shall be happy to have you stand between us and the danger we are sure to face soon with all of your defensive prowess. Your method of casting spells is quite subtle as well, making it harder to block your magic. Very nice."
As the two were fighting Senna shakes her head thinking how this group will survive. These childish companions would likely kill each other before we even reach our first destination. Did they not know this mission is too important to risk injury now.
Perhaps that was the Selune's true test. To somehow create cohesion in this rabble. Senna watches as the two display their abilities while eating a small meal at the campfire. It would not be an easy task with the ego's of champions so eager to prove their worth.
She looks around noticing Valor is still keeping watch. He seems to have a sense of duty, that would be important to the groups success. Senna also notices Sejj is missing, perhaps he was out hunting for another snack.
As the two finish their duel Senna remarks at the campfire, not with a loud voice. Looks like those two are finished comparing the size of their uhm.... magic reserves. She cracks a smile as she wipes her plate clean and places it back in her backpack.
Afterwards she will walk to Valor to relieve him of his watch and take the 2nd watch. Go and get something to eat, ill keep watch for now.
As night is already deepening around you, and you all realize that the next day is going to come too-fast, you would consider another duel to be a bad idea. (I.E. I will start making you do constitution checks for exerting yourself, or maybe not allow a LR...)
Setting up watches, you have an uneventful night.
The next day sees clouds forming over the Sea of Swords and moving in the direction of land. You start out as those clouds move in your direction. The temperatures start around 70, then climb up into the mid 80s. Passing many travelers, you continue your path Southward. Around midday you take a short break to eat and let the horses rest, then you press onward. Light rain comes and goes a bit after you get on the road again, darker clouds forming out over the water to your West. The sea also shows great rolling waves out to the West, clearly the wind is starting to pick up and heading your direction. The weather is likely a few horus from landfall though.
I would like you to give me your current marching order, plus perception checks from those in the front, as well as any pets/familiars/pcs in the air.
"Haha, quite the defense! Good, good. Let's see Brock, just where are the gaps in that cumbersome plate of yours..."

Yes, we can call the duel concluded here.

Aio rides near the front on his own horse.
Perception: 12
His owl familiar also scouts ahead and reports back on occasion.
Perception: 22 (Advantage for sight and hearing only.)
Ssej would be out front as well keeping a watch out.

Senna will try to remain in the middle section again so wont roll the perception.
