"These ruins aren't giving me any clues on how to disable the magical wards. Ugh this is just so frustrating I just want to blast us out of here but I don't know if that guard is outside the door watching or how many hits it'll take." Blitz says very frustrated at the entire situation.
OOC: Can I get a layout of the cells. We're in separate cells that are separated by a stone wall with iron bars in front of us. What about the other side of the stone wall. Is it connected to another cell or the outside of the cell?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Investigation: 8 )
Kriz taps the walls looking for a panel or button similar to that she used to enter into the passage in the first place. “Come on... I know you are close...” she mutters.
Zeek uses the time in the cell to relax, tend to his bruises, and through meditation get himself ready for the challenge ahead. He focusses particularly on preparing his BANE and COMMAND spells and get mentally ready to help out his allies. (OOC: used one hit die to heal back up to full HP)
As the human approaches, Zeek interrupts his focussed meditation and stands up from his lotus stance, to approach the bars and take measure of the creature in front of him. Insight: 18

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Not wanting to get the guards attention Blitz has been waiting for a more opportune moment to attempt escape. During his waiting time though he has been testing out the strength of the wards, with a few subtle Fire Bolts but also trying to figure out how they were made. Maybe he can attempt a replication of these wards later.
OOC: No guards, the guards ALL left. It's been you and Zeek in the cells alone for I'll say the span of a short rest!!
As soon as the fire bolts are loose and hit the bars they fizzle to nothing. You can conjure in the cell but nothing seems to leave the bars barriers. Do attempt to test them on the stone walls as well? They, I should have mentioned before, are also covered in runes/wards/sigils in draconic! You can copy them sure but it would take YEARSof study to reproduce them considering your focus is elemental magicks! This is old magic, some of the oldest you've ever seen!! The Cradle of Faith as you know was heavy hit during the Calamity!!

Blitz will copy them. Even if this isn’t his area of expertise he’s sure he knows someone who is more into wards and sigils and can better decipher and replicate them than he could anyways.
Zeek steps close to the bars, but doesn't touch them. As he sees the man, he whistles at him, to get his attention. If the guy comes closer, he will cast COMMAND at 1st level at the man, with the instruction "Open", pointing at the cell door. (It's a vocal spell, so it shouldn't get blocked by the bars, if I stand behind them).

Kriz steps out of the hiddem passway. Her dress get stucked into the sliding panel and she had to pull it a couple of times before she can release it and stumbles into the room a couple of steps.
She then looks up and meets the other woman eye’s
“Oh!.. Eh.. Hi!. Whoever designed this passaway didn’t have in mind women when did it, didn’t he?” She says with a smile recovering her balance and heading towards the door. “Sorry to disturb you dear. What a night! I’ll be on my way... “

"What...what are you doing here," she demands next glaring at you as she turns in the vanity stool to face you. "I'll...I'll call the guard," she adds groping for a rope hanging nearby as if to signal someone...
Blitz unlike the bars where the magic just died, the walls seem to absorb the bolt. The sigils flare white then become mostly indistinct again. You then hear a soft chuckle from the man in the plan suite of clothes outside the cell.
"It's a funny thing this prison isn't it," the elderly human, or at least that's what he appears to be, says with a smirk on his wrinkled face. "Forty-eight years of study and I still am learning things," he adds next grinning at you Blitz. "Where might you be from dwarf," he then asks curiously before casting a glance at Zeek whose still leering at him from his cell.

Now don’t be alarmed I’m going to try and conjure a small hand outside the cell. See if the they block magic that conjures something outside of it when the conjurer is inside.”
Blitz then attempts to cast Mage Hand placing the conjugation point outside of the cell.
Blitz NO effect. You conjure correctly, everything is right you know it, but nothing appears outside the bars.
"I've heard of Kraghammer," the man says with a soft smile. "My associate tells me he's hired you for a task but it seems you're of little use to him in here," he explains with a smirk as he cleans the lens of his petite glasses before placing them back on his crooked narrow nose.
