Rushing into the tavern doors, soaking wet, the knee-high woman let out a long breath as she looked around. It only took her a few moments to be directed out into some sort of back room before she glances around some blinking with a somewhat sheepish smile on her face as she glances around the room.
“My deepest apologies for the late arrival, Trym Hilltopper at your service, FINALLY.” Glancing around she took a free seat with a glance at everyone. A Dragonborn, a half orc... even a dwarf! What a strange mix of companions there were in this group. “The cart I had caught ride with tipped in the Timberlands, and I had to make the rest of my way on foot! With these short legs it’s not much surprising that it took me so long to get here.” She couldn’t help but let out a small laugh as she looked around, her nose only just coming up to the table they all sat at. “So. Did I miss anything important?”

"How has an item so valuable to your master", Zeek seems to almost stumble over the word "end up in the hands of a young spendthrift? Appearances are often deceiving, and I don't believe you have been completely forthright with us about this young noble. Otherwise I hardly doubt it would take a squad of five wanderers."
Ezekiel wants to Insight check Nasser, to get more information about the young noble.

Ezekiel quickly scans the halfling (OOC: Trym is a halfling, right?) that just entered among their midst, sodden to the bone. Despite the less than graceful appearance, he could tell the fine craftsmanship of her robes. Yet looking at both her demeanour and her hands, it quickly became apparent that this was no noble lady, but that she had in fact fashioned her robes herself. For a second interrupting his conversation with Nasser, Ezekiel turns to Trym, and say "The gods only let things grow until they are perfect. For some, it didn't take as long as for others. I'm Ezekiel, some call me Truthseeker."

Trym can’t help but blink at Zeek’s introduction of himself and smiles up at him happily. “Well aren’t you the flatterer! It is lovely to meet you, Mr. Truthseeker. I think I shall also call you that. It’s a nice name for sure!” She rubbed her gloves hands over each other as she looks around at all the other group. “Such a large variety of beings we have here! I’ll be curious enough to get to know you all!”
ooc: she sure is!! Is Ezekiel human? I couldnt find anything that said otherwise ><
"Negligence," Nasser says sharply in reply to Zeek's questions. "But any more than that I am not at liberty to share with you at the moment," he adds coolly as the halfling bursts into the room.
<Tango's intro>
"No, Miss Hilltopper we're just discussing the task now," Nasser replies with a soft smile. "Oh look I still have them on you see," he then says holding up his gloved hands to the halfling before snapping his fingers as a wisp of frost chills the air. "Now for more pressing concerns," he begins again. "My little birds tell me Wintermarsh the younger is staying at another establishment such as this one near the Dusk Meadow. An inn called Veil of Shadows. I can't stress enough how who you are not meaning nobody to anyone here is an essential part of getting close to Wintermarsh to attain the box," he adds firmly. "Now does anyone else have questions? I really do have to be going," he adds just as the bulky man arrives with a tray of flagons and begins passing them out.
"Sorry friend it's the best the missus could do if you're not drinking ale," the bulk man says placing a flagon in front of Zeek of frothy looking milk. "Anything else sir," the bulky man then asks Nasser who doesn't respond verbally only waves his hand for the man to leave and surprisingly the man does without another peep.
OOC: I should add you didn't question the reasons behind the job. You agreed to it. More correctly I made the DM decision for story reasons you agreed to do it so there's no backing out now.

Folk had entered with the others his mind flying as he soaked in all the information he could and once inside he began to scribble down all he could about the others in the effort to retain everything for his tales and song. He perked up as Ezekiel asked him if he knew a song to pass the time and thought on it "I know a few, but the only short one is a bit racey for mid day, I was taught to me by a sailor and its about a rambunctious gnome that broke hearts all over the countryside, you can imagine the raunchy nature of it" he chuckled and was surprised by the sudden arrival of the Halfling known as Trym "Well met Greenspeaker, and thankfully not, I do believe we are just getting to the discussions of our mission" he smiled to her and offered her what knowledge he had gathered from Nasser and the others

Blitz thought his prayer might have been answered when Tyrm entered the tavern however his hopes are soon dashed when he sees its a halfling but there is a glimmer of hope when he sees her robes. They were good. It was obvious to him that she wasn't noble by the way she carried herself but he might employ her to make him some robe for a future occasion.
"I'm Lord Blitz Thunderbrand, Elementalist in training," Blitz says to the halfling. Turning back to Nasser Blitz quickly summarizes what is expected of them "Find Mr. Wintermarsh, get the box by any lawful means, get it back to you, and don't let him know that we are working for you. Sounds simple enough and with a starting point, I think we should be able to complete this task within the allotted time. So, I say let's get started."
Blitz doesn't think to question why Nasser's Lord wants this box back. As long as it is owed to him and Blitz is getting a leg up on his research he doesn't really suspect anything.
"Whatever means necessary to get the box," Nasser interjects. "But known that yes the rightful owner of the box is my master," he adds with a curt nod. "You have one week to complete the task. It's rumored that Wintermarh will not be spending much longer in the city than that," he answers Ranla. "Now if there's nothing else," he says pushing back his chair then stands up from the table ready to leave.

Trym couldn’t help at the grin that Nasser had kept the gloves she had given him. “Wonderful! I am so glad you’re enjoying my gift to you.” Watching him leave she have a bit of a wave with a kind smile.
Turning to the dwarf the halfling couldn’t help but gasp a little. “A Thunderbrand! Well you must be a good elementalist indeed, or at least on the way to being one! I do indeed feel safer with you around. My magics are more connected to the nature, but indeed, you must let me create something for you! Dwarves don’t often like wearing robes, they indeed prefer armours and leathers...” Upon realising she’s rambling she sends a smile to the rest of the group. “Right! So we have a box to collect!”
"If there's no other questions," Nasser says moving away from his seat towards the door, his elaborate robe trailing behind him.
The air at the table is still tense. No one knows anyone quite well yet and there seems to be egos unnecessarily being rubbed the wrong way, you don't have to be a diviner to see it. It's clear do everyone involved you need a leader or at least someone to organize the group to proceed any further and achieve your goal. The obvious choice for such a mission of investigation and persuasion seems to be the bard which you know have talents in both but who will step up to take this role?

“Oh! Yes I suppose it does, but also my years in selling garments has also granted me a lot of wisdom into the brains of most, though I try to use it for the good, of course!” Trym insisted with a smile to Folk. “I’d be happy to assist you in such an endevour in this way.”
