The sling's stone misses Brenna and sails past the group.
Combat ends with Kenny the Kobald being incapacitated, and the two cultists are dead. We can move out of combat now if characters wish to question the Kobold or capture him, etc.
Kirari pulls a rope from her pack and starts to secure the incapacitated Kobold and haul him towards an alley. "Perhaps we should check over those other two and move off to the side in case those mercenaries DO show up."
Inglenook sees Cale rush over to search the bodies, rather more keenly than he would expect.
Without bringing any attention to himself he keeps his distance, but removes a hand sized metallic cone from his back pocket and brings it to his lips. Whilst pointing the cone directly towards Cale he whispers, "I've seen many pickpockets, robbers and highwaymen through my years. I hope you're better than them, and that you will be sharing your finds with the rest of this party?" He then places the item close to his ear...

As Cale investigates the bodies, each were carrying a scimitar for their weapons. They both have onyx-colored medallions that have dragons carefully carved on them. Both carry a map of Greenest with some marks on the keep and houses to the south (near where you met Lillian). The marks are large red "X"s. The cultists have obviously been looting and have stolen purses on them. Purse one includes 4 gold pieces and 2 sapphires. Purse two has 3 mugs with gold inlays. Both purses also have 2 silver necklaces.
Kirari hoists the one prisoner over her shoulder making sure he's weaponless, gagged and separating him from any valuables. She attaches one scimitar to her belt and as the keep seems to be the destination, waits for the others then starts marching for the keep.
Kenny squirms a bit as he is carried, but then passes out again. He does still have a pulse. As you cross the bridge, you should be able to see the keep. It is a large stone tower built on a hill in the middle of town with lights on in the windows.
Cale turns his head slightly, confused at the sudden voice appearing in his head. Adapting, he responds "Well I come from a place where finders are generally keep- oh never mind, everyone's helping themselves anyway"
As the party split the purses and necklaces, Cale fumes quietly. When they are ready to head off he drops towards the back so that he can dive into cover or climb a roof if another combat breaks out.
Kirari struggles a little with her captive adjusting her hold on him and giving him a quick knock to the head to keep him still. Checking his pulse to confirm life.
She glances at the spoils noting what was found and picks up pace with the keep in sight. Eyes scanning for potential dangers along the way.
Inglenook follows the others behind, at a short distance, watching Kirari struggle with the kobold but seeming to have him under control. He sings to himself quietly.
"Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to the keep we go. With some orcs and an elf who helps himself, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho....he he, good one Mr Cogswell." And he jots it down on a piece of scroll as they walk.
Travis doesn't seem to be paying much attention to the fallen enemies or the loot they carried, but rather just keeps moving ahead, a man on a mission.
He steps beside Kirari. "I can take a turn carrying that kobold," he says to her, stooping slightly to offer his shoulder should she want a break from the squirming captive.
Kirari glances over at Travis and nods, the little beast was getting heavy and drapes him over the human's shoulder. "Save that rope though if you can, and pass him back if you need to. They're dense little things."
Kirari is realistic that they will have expenses so assures herself that the items are collected or does so herself before they leave the bodies. Then catches herself humming the new tune and abruptly stops. "Catchy that is." She grumbles at the gnome sounding a little frustrated that she was caught off guard by it. "But not bad..."

The group finds itself fairly close to the Keep as there is one more intersection with houses before the path climbs up the small hill that the Keep was built on.
At that final intersection, a door suddenly swings open at the front of the house on the left and 3 humans burst out of the house carrying large bags on their backs. They seem like pretty rough fellows with scimitars on their belts. The are coming toward you on the road but don't seem to eye you with much suspicion. One man sarcastically shouts, "Haaail Tiamatttt" at the group and points to his bag.
Inglenook, seeing the three figures emerge from the house close by, bends down and attaches a glowing item to a nearby large rock. He walks up beside Kirari, and talking out of the side of his mouth in a purposefully secretive way, (even though he is talking loud enough for everyone to hear,) he says "As long as this is the last fight before my next meal as I'm starting to feel rather feint. Maybe we could incapacitate them really, really quickly." He grins up at the orc and nods vigorously.
Then he shouts, "OI YOU LOT!!! You're friend here," he points up to the kobold hanging around Travis' shoulders, "he was the last person we caught stealing from these townspeople. You gonna drop that lot to the floor and sod off? Or end up like him....or worse?"
He then feels one of his legs starting to shake slightly as his sudden bravado is starting to wilt....

The hint of a smile comes to Travis's perpetually grim visage at Inglenook's words. "Well said,"he mutters, just before he lifts the prisoner from his shoulder with both hands, takes one step forward, presses the kobold above his head with both hands, and hurls the captive straight into the midst of the three humans.

Cale comes to a stop and darts to the nearest wall as the men emerge from the house. He's seen looters before, clumsy and inarticulate thugs. He's also seen misplaced bravado, and wonders if the little gnome will be around long enough to share the fortune that his genius inventions could doubtless make for them all.
When the big knight made to throw the kobold it looked impressive; the execution less so.
"Oh for f-" he mutters to himself and takes up a position to attack from cover/shadows should it be needed.

Cale springs from his hiding place and runs over to the dead cultists "I'll search these! They might have, erm, clues!"
Going through pockets, pouches etc looking for anything at all - preferably valuable, otherwise interesting.

The Real Cale changes his appearance and swiftly pulls out a moustache with a fake nose and a pair of goggles. His identity remains a mystery..:

(is that total of 4 or 4 necklaces ea?)
(Yep, that is 8 total silver necklaces)
