"Cowards!" Raqisat calls out upon hearing the voices in his head. He brings up one hand and pulls the cloths away from his face, not this it is likely to confused the creatures at this point. "Come and face your doom, if you dare!"
(Cosette would have tucked herself in more to affect as many trees as possible. Just approx 10ft north of Raq's current position on the map, tucked in the tree line perhaps. Sorry for the delay and ty for the map.)
Having witnessed Grugga's administrations to Raq, and his casual acceptance, Cos smirks. She couldn't help but wonder what other goodies and surprises Grugga has in store for them through their adventure. Reminded by the others installing theirs, Cosette indeed follows suit and sticks her earplugs in in time for the on coming shrieking bird brains.
Confirming her positioning, Cosette draws her silvered rapier. Holding it off to the side as she takes a firm stance, she scrapes the tip of her blade along the stone floor. Sounding like nails on a chalkboard, she flicks it forward, pointing in the direction of the incoming vrocks. A loud ringing tone reverberates amongst the centre of the flock(s), targeting as many as possible within it's 10ft radius prior to erupting into a painfully intense burst of sound.
The three Vrocks closest to Cosetteall shudder as she unleashes her grating burst of sound. The wounded Vrock takes the worst of it, nearly falling out of the sky before it recovers. [17 damage to wounded Vrock, 8 damage each to the other two.]
The three of them look to repay the favor. All three of them fight, fly and claw their way through the clutching tree branches until they are within 20' of Raqisat and Cosette. They unleash deafening shrieks... or shrieks that would have been deafening, had you not prepared ahead of time. Two of the Vrock continue ahead, undaunted by the failure of their sonic attacks, until the are flying 5' above the ground, one within melee range of Cosette and one just outside melee range. The wounded Vrock, however retreats back into the treetops, near its position on the last map.
[For positioning pursposes, Cosette is 10' north of Raq with two Vrocks near her. The rest of the Vrocks remain in their locations on the current map.]

Safely hidden among the fallen trees, Leelan observes the flocks of Vrocks coming in. They appear too far to take an effective shot at with regular arrows. Considering their numbers, Leelan prefers to keep his position hidden for as long as possible. He nocks in two arrows and prepares to fire at the first vile demon that comes into range.
Action: Hold (attack)
Trigger: When a creature comes within 80 feet of Leelan
Movement: 30 ft to the NW - I should be just on the edge of Cosette's green circle Zap movement: also 30 ft to the NW.
BA: Command Zap to move
Action: Hold faerie fire until the second group of Vrocks move up. Grugga will try to hit as many Vrocks as possible, without hitting his allies. Since the spell is a cube and can be cast at any point in the air, he should be able to hit all the Vrocks in a 20 ft cube without hitting allies as long as the Vrocks are all flying 5' above Raq and Cos.
Grugga whistles for his trusty contraption to move with him. The Orc advances toward the fight, making it about halfway to his allies. He draws a purple crystal from his pouch with a small brass hammer attached to it - you've all seen this spell before! He waits as the second group of demon birds flies towards them and lines up a shot to hopefully hit all but the wounded one, who looks like its staying back.

As the winged demons come swooping in over the tree tops, the young noble casts a worried glance over at Cosette, hoping the half-elven archaeologistwould move to safety and let Raqisat draw the attention of the incoming fiends. Deinochlorodon? There was that name again. The Vrocks' demonic master that they feared would be awakened. It is then with a small pleased smile he sees Cosette's ear splittig magic cause havoc in the enemy's formation, making one break off already.
As they finally come within range of his eldritch magic, Aubrey uses the powers of his talisman to unleash two golden beams of eldritch crackling force against the closest Vrock after swiftly cursing it with his Hex.
Raqisat smiles at Cosette in appreciation of he attack and then up to place himself between Cosette and the Vrocks. He lashes out towards the closest winged beast with his Radiant Whip (Attack: 11 to hit for 7 damage) but misses by a mile, the adjustments made to the weapon not quite second nature to him yet... In the heat of battle now though, Raqisat enters his own particular brand of rage and gets ready to dance...
Leelanholds his shot for another opportunity, while Gruggacharges across the field, readying a crystal concoction, his automaton at his side.
Aubreydischarges a pair of eldritch blasts at one of the Vrocks nearest to Cosette. Streaks of energy erupt from the bush and arc across the plaza. Both golden missiles slam into the demon, sending black blood and feathers flying. Aubrey remains tucked inside his illusory bush.
[The Vrocks haven't seen Aubrey, but can see a medium sized bush from which spells are being flung.]
OW! Somebody go find that breachweaver! the thoughts of the Vrock targeted by Aubreyecho out across the plaza.
Raqisat flashes a whip at the Vrocks surrounding Cosette, not actually hitting it but... you know... sending a message.
The last two Vrocks approach the plaza at last. Gruggais able to catch three of them together within the confines of his Faerie Fire dust. The two new arrivals duck out of the way of the particles, but one of the Vrocks near Raqisat becomes bathes in sparkling, violet glitter. The two new Vrocks both peel off in the direction of the bush that was launching magic. One gets too close to Cosette and gets slowed down by her tree-friends. It turns and delivers a fruitless SCREECH. The other flanks the plants and dashes through the air, across the plaza... right into the path of Leelan'sarrow, which hits!

Cosette
"Aye!" Cosette snaps her fingers in the direction of the fourth vrock. "Feather brains, better double check that glitter." A smirk tugs at her lips.
Vrock 4 vs Faeris Fire ST Reaction: Silvery Barbs Advantage given to Cosette
Silvery Barbs You magically distract the triggering creature and turn its momentary uncertainty into encouragement for another creature. The triggering creature must reroll the d20 and use the lower roll.
You can then choose a different creature you can see within range (you can choose yourself). The chosen creature has advantage on the next attack roll, ability check, or saving throw it makes within 1 minute. A creature can be empowered by only one use of this spell at a time.
Without skipping a beat Cosette stomps her foot. Then the other. She slams the hilt of her rapier against her shield, immediately sending out another ear shattering boom just beyond the line of vrocks ahead of her and Raq. If she calculated correctly, the sound should disperse and reverberate, impacting hopefully at least three of the fowl creatures without catching her or Raq. As Cos expends her reserves, her chest rises and falls in slight exertion, however she stands firm and focused on the fight at hand. Perhaps there was even a smirk at the challenge. She knew them poking this nest would probably have later consequences. But that's future Cosette's problem.
VS Vrocks 1,2,3? (Assuming 4 too far out of range when avoiding to catch her and Raq in the blast) Casting: Shatter7 Damage Con ST DC15 for half
On second thought, Vrock 4 does not escape Grugga'sglitter. It too is illuminated in purple light.
CON saves for Shatter: 1 10, 2 14, 3 24
The northernmost 3 Vrocks are caught in another brutally whining pulse of sound. Vrock three seems least effected, but the other two grab their heads and squawk in pain... Vrock 1 vanishing from the field in a puff of inky blackness.
Vrock 2 flares its wings and shakes, releasing a cloud of tiny spores and mites that drift down over Raqisat and Cosette...
Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or become poisoned. While poisoned in this way, a target takes 5 poison damage at the start of each of its turns. A target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. Emptying a vial of holy water on the target also ends the effect on it.
Vrock 3 turns its ire on Raqisat, lashing out against the whip-wielding wanderer.
Talons: Attack: 9
Beak: Attack: 21 Damage: 10Slashing
It then moves around Raqisat (without leaving his range) and comes to rest on the ground behind them, flanking them with Vrock 2 and coming between them and the rest of the crew.

BA: Grugga whistles and points with his sword, ordering Zap in to attack Vrock 3, who has moved to flank Raq and Cos. (If the Vorvk is where I expect it to be, Zap has just enough movement to get there). Advantage from faerie fire.
Attack: 15 Damage: 7 force damage
Meanwhile, Grugga moves 2 hexes southwest and 1 west - just enough to get into the sight of Vrock 5 as it flies overhead. Knowing his allies probably can't hear him anyway, Grugga calls out loudly, "You hold them off! I'm going to wake Deinochlorodon!" The Orc then watches to see if his ruse has worked - hopefully Vrock 5 turns its attention to him.
Action: dodge, as Grugga keeps wary for an incoming swoop from the flying demon-bird.

It is with some relief the young noble sees the first of the bird-like fiends go down to another casting of the archaeologist'sear splittig magic. Then seeing one of the winged demons fly across the plaza, Aubrey hestiates briefly about his next target but quickly decides to fire at the one outlined by Grugga's inventions, again using the powers of his talisman to unleash two golden beams of eldritch crackling force against the Vrock.
"Bless you," Raqisat says in reflex as Cosette sneezes...
Raqisat sidesteps Vrock3's talon attack and has a riposte of his own! Spending one Superiority Die he counters the missed attack with one of his own! (8 rolled on Superiority Die)
Whip Riposte Attack: Nat 20 plus 7 plus the 8 from superiority die for a 35 to hit... Damage is 7 plus 2 from Rage plus the 8 from the superiority die for 17. (Not sure if a superiority die that gets added to damage would be doubled on a crit? If so then 25. If Cosette is within 5feet of Vrock3 at this time then Raqisat would also get sneak attack damage pf 11 more damage due to the Crit for 36 total damage... Sounds like he moves position after the attack so likely no sneak attack damage.)
Using this new technique to counter a missed attack goes well until Raqisat accidentally steps right into it's beak attack! Fortunately he has started his war dance and is moving fluidly to slip and slide and take but half the damage... (Raging). He considers trying out the radiant whip's more unique properties after being hit but has no more reactions left...
On his own turn (2nd of rage) Raqisat continues to be focused on Vrock3.... (Assuming it still lives, otherwise moves to V2 that is engaged with Cosette...)
Radiant Whip attack vs V3: (with adv due to Faerie Fire) 23to hit for 7 damage plus 5 from Sneak Attack (12total) as I believe Cosette would no be within 5ft of it...
Bonus Action Scimitar attack: (stil w/adv) 25to hit for 11 damage
Leelantakes a moment to observe and recall what he has already learned about fighting Vrocks... but his aim betrays him and he fails to take advantage of his studies with any effective hits.
Raqisat shrugs off the poison from Vrock 2 - no doubt due to Cosette'sprotection from poison spell - but in ironic fashion Cosetteis overcome but violent illness from the spores and filth.
Once again, Aubreypounds Vrock 3 with two beams of eldritch power, and Grugga'sautomaton gets in another zap for good measure.
At Grugga'staunting, Vrock 5 deviates from its course toward the magical bush and flies down to confront him. It releases another SCREECH that does no good.

Cosette inhales a laboured breath, feeling the sting of the poison. It doesn’t stop her from wielding her rapier with a flourish. She drives it behind her, looking to stick it with the pointy end.

Cos clears her throat then inhales a deep breath through her nose and exhale through her mouth in an effort to clear her her lungs of the poison.
With a flourish, Cosettefights through the poison and delivers a coup de grace on Vrock 3. Even without an artificer-infused blade, her expert stroke is enough to send the demon back to the Abyss in a puff of curdled black smoke.
There is a chorus of mental laughter from the other Vrocks as #3 disappears.

Raqisat shrugs off the poison from Vrock 2 - no doubt due to Cosette's protection from poison spell - but in ironic fashion Cosette is overcome but violent illness from the spores and filth.
Once again, Aubrey pounds Vrock 3 with two beams of eldritch power, and Grugga's automaton gets in another zap for good measure.
At Grugga's taunting, Vrock 5 deviates from its course toward the magical bush and flies down to confront him. It releases another SCREECH that does no good.
Vrock 4 continues on its path, dashing through the air and across the field, toward the bush.

Cosette inhales a laboured breath, feeling the sting of the poison. It doesn’t stop her from wielding her rapier with a flourish. She drives it behind her, looking to stick it with the pointy end.
VS Vrock3 (poison d/a w/ faerie fire adv for straight attack roll)
Attack: 7 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Cos clears her throat then inhales a deep breath through her nose and exhale through her mouth in an effort to clear her her lungs of the poison.

just an unstable unicorn.
With a flourish, Cosette fights through the poison and delivers a coup de grace on Vrock 3. Even without an artificer-infused blade, her expert stroke is enough to send the demon back to the Abyss in a puff of curdled black smoke.
There is a chorus of mental laughter from the other Vrocks as #3 disappears.
More meat and loot for us!
Vrock 2 flaps its wings and lunges out at Cosette, first with is foul beak and then with its filthy talons.
Beak Attack: 17 Damage: 9
Talons Attack: 21 Damage: 14
Eyeing the approaching automaton and its beam attack, Vrock 2 then flies 20' straight up and remains there. In the process, it invites opportunity attacks from Raqisat and Cosette, if they wish to spend their reactions on same.
