Triäsa finds herself absently humming the time as well. "I wonder if this is different. Perhaps this shadowy creature is what brought the meenlocks here in the first place?"
She then looks around for where to head next. "There was another for off the cloak room to the south? We should see where that leads. Though from here it looks like that part of the house might be in ruins."
Daventry nods. "But first... there's something about that mist that's odd, the way it flows." She goes to inspect the fireplace, sticking her blade, and it's light, into the mist. How does it feel?

The mist certainly appears far thicker and is flowing more freely than would be expected in the otherwise sunny and pleasant day. It flows into the house as if it were being poured from in from outside. That's about all you can tell.
@Ludolf -- Triäsa is correct in that the only obvious place not explored is the other door in the cloakroom. As DM I won't say whether or not that is everything :)

Pardot pockets the cufflinks as well as the key, saying to the others, "I've found some things with the same symbol that I sketched from the cave. It seems to have a similar fear to it. Good thing us little folk can't be scared easily." he adds with a grin. "One thing I found was a key, so keep your eyes out for a chest, or locked door... or something."((perception 16

(Ok, it was just a bit hard to tell from the map if we had anywhere else to explore :-)
"Come on, why not at least start with the obvious - the other door from the cloak room," Triäsa says. "And of course, we should probably check out the graveyard."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Yes, just a moment Triäsa." Ludolf says looking around the fireplace, but as he likely does not find anything of interest he turns and joins Triäsa, opening the other door in the cloak room. Perception with help from Edgar: 14 Then giving Triäsa help and guidance with her investigation of what's beyond.
Moving back to the cloak room you open the slightly too short, rounded door to the south. It opens with a bit of hesitancy and bit too much noise. You peer inside with a little help from Daventry's light you see it is some sort of closet with old, musty blankets on the floor. You are about to turn away in frustration when kicking them blankets to the side you spot a small trap door in the floor. It is about 3x3 feet wide and is not locked. If you choose to do so it opens freely to reveal a ladder the descends down underneath the mansion. From the top you can not tell how deep it goes. The ladder appears well maintained, the walls of the corridor are tightly packed dirt with worms and other insects crawling through. Similar to the cave you were in before you feel a cool damp breeze hit you in the face.

"Intriguing, should we investigate the graveyard before going down this way?"Ludolf says looking down the worm-infested tunnel, ready to follow Daventry.
@Klin -- Even with the light you can't see much more from where you are. You do feel rather confident the ladder will hold you so long as you go one at a time. You are also very thankful you are all of the bookish type and none of you are terribly wide as it could be a tight fit for some of the more monstrous races of the land.

"What a nice hole in the ground!" Triäsa says with a laugh. "I think we should take a look down there, but let us just check the graveyard real quick first."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Pardot lingers slightly over the hole in the ground, clearly curious to see what's inside, but follows the group towards the graveyard to see if he can spot anything that they can't. He also looks up towards the crows again, aware that they are likely following the group's every move. ((perception 13))
"No, I'm not sure this is a Meenlock Daventry, but it is clearly connected to what happened in Vermeillon." Ludolfs responds.
There is no official map that works for how I am running this section but I threw this together quick on Inkarnate.
Everything to the south is collapsed including the stairs. The door in the cloakroom does not appear to go outside.

Pardot-- There is nothing in this area that could be unlocked. No chests no doors. not really much but rubble.
