The shopkeeper reaches under her desk and picks up a map. She hands it to you and says "Yes I do. The first couple days are not too bad. Mostly a dirt road with wooden areas on either side. I think there's a small settlement at the halfway point. The most you'd have to deal with is the occasional goblin camp or spriggan attack It's the third day you want to watch out for. Seeing as you are both of the Coalition, that is. There are dwarven sentries all over, and they will fire at elves on sight." Her voice suddenly drops to a whisper and she leans in closer. "There is a way to gain their trust, however, and that's to do a little something for them. A friend of mine had to get them a gargoyle head to appease them. You don't see those everywhere you go. But get one for them and you'll be free to walk around the Mountain Range as you please." She backs up and continues in her regular voice. "The Mountain of Steel isn't hard to miss after that. If you ask anyone to see the Iron Dwarf, they'll show the way. It's said that the Iron Dwarf is guarding something, but what it is I can't dare to imagine. Some horrible monster, I bet. But you should be fine. Pleasure doing business with you!" She turns and goes into the back room of her shop. What do you do?
The mason replies "Nay, I cannot. Gargoyle heads are magical, I can't make one. But I know where ye can find one. About 3 miles south of Khazintan, there's a cave that's rumored to have gargoyle guardians, protecting somethin. Riches, magic, mystery, who knows. But definitely gargoyles. And goblins, the nasty buggers. Kill a goblin, yer brave. Kill a gargoyle, yer not only brash, but also rich. Gargoyle heads appease us dwarves, but ye cannae make them." What's the plan?
It's not too far away. It should make for an easy trip. As you follow the trail, you eventually find the cave. The mouth of the cave looks like a serpent of sorts. Do you proceed?

I thank the shopkeeper and go around town searching for a stonesmith or someone who might be able to make a gargoyle head.
After a bit of searching, you find a mason, a sturdy dwarf, who says to you, "Good morning, my friend. What can a mason do for you today?"
Elanxer asks if he can make a gargoyle head.
I see if the cave is on the map we were given.
The cave is in fact on the map. Would you like to start heading in that direction?
Yes, if we have enough rations to make the trip.
It's not too far away. It should make for an easy trip. As you follow the trail, you eventually find the cave. The mouth of the cave looks like a serpent of sorts. Do you proceed?
