"So these were not after you, but that house?" Robin asks, never having recieved an answer to her previous question on the subject. She moves towards the house with this other and waits to see how the inhabitants react to the knocking.
"That's right. For the two of us, at least." He glances towards Rathos for a moment, wondering if he also just happened to be here by chance. Is it fate, or pure coincidence? Then, he remembers something. He starts heading to one of the houses on the other side of the street, calling back to Requiem as he does. "Check on the residents of the house, will ya? I'll check on Listrafa and the others. If anything happens, shout and I will come right away!"
Radis then enters the River's Rest, going up to check on the family, whether they're all okay.
In response to Requiem's knocking, there is the sound of shuffling coming from inside the house, before the door is cracked open. Seeing that the group doesn't appear to be merfolk, the door opens wider and a man appears. He is quite rotund and has a shock of auburn hair that looks disheveled. His grey eyes dart back and forth between the three people outside his door before he croaks, "So that's it then? They are all dead?" Glancing around and seeing the bodies, he doesn't look convinced, but seeing that he isn't currently being attacked, he is looking to Robin, Rathos, and Requiem for any details.
Radis, on the other hand, heads to the River's Rest and enters. After a few moments of searching, he finds Listrafa and the children huddled upstairs in the mother's bedroom. Seeing Radis return bloodied, Listrafa just stares dumbfounded as she stutters, "Wh-what hap-ppened out there?" Visker on the other hand is thrilled to see Radis and rushes up to the man and starts trying to look closer at his wounds, "Wow! You did it Mr. Radis! You killed the scary monsters with the furry man. I can't wait to start learning from you! Who was that strange new lady that came at the end?" Any fear that the boy previously had, seems to have vanished in the sight of seeing Radis and the boy's curiosity is raging. Listrafa looks reproachfully at her son but seems too stunned to say anything to him. Amber, meanwhile, is gently rocking Oskan in her arms and just gives a nod to acknowledge Radis before returning her attention to the baby. It is at this point, that Radis looks over and sees a window with the curtains drawn back that is overlooking the street. It appears that the family was watching everything that had happened during the fight.

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
Requiem nods. ”Yessir. All of them are dealt with; they won’t be troubling you any more. Though none of us know exactly what it is or why it came here.”
"Yes, I came on the situation at the very end." Robin says with a smile, stepping forward. "Do you happen to know why these... things... were after you?" She glances to the dead bodies laying in the road a short distance off. "These," She gestures to the other two with her, "say they were attacking only your place, and no others. Do you know why that would be?"
"Killed? I wouldn't say. I can't say this was a good example of defensive nor offensive tactics." He takes a moment to look around the room. They family seems to be okay, Listrafa being the only one who does not appear at ease. "Don't worry, though, the threat was dealt with. You can come out of this room, if you'd like. I'm going to check on the residents of the house that was attacked. Is there anything I should know about them?"
The man breathes a sigh of relief as the trio confirms that the merfolk have been dealt with. "We've never had a merfolk attack before. In fact, most of the merfolk live in the Silver Lake itself. It's rare for us to see even one merfolk this far east along the river. Being attacked by this many is unprecedented." To Robin, he replies, "I have no idea why they would be after us. I am just an ordinary fisherman. I provide for myself honestly. There is no reason for the gods or any other person to want to attack me." At this, he starts to look a little worried and panicked that perhaps this was a targeted attack.
Visker nods to Radis and seems to file the information away regarding what is and isn't a good idea regarding tactics. Radis's words seem to ease Listrafa and her panic seems to ease into slight worry. When Radis suggests checking on the other house, Listrafa nods understandingly and replies, "Ronald is a simple fisherman. His wife left him many years back to join the army after his child died during birth. He has had a rough go of it, but he's been working as a fisherman for almost as long as I can remember. I can't tell you much else, sorry."

"Have you seen, or heard, anything unusual in the recent timeframe?" Robin asks the fisherman with a frown back at the dead bodies. She wonders if this man had noticed something he was not suppose to know about, and thus was targetted. She glances back to the man. "Anything that has been out of place, different, or just unusual in the last while?"
"Sound like an honest man. I'll go to make sure he's all right." Radis says before running out of the room, dashing down the stairs and out to the street, across it and to join the others. It takes him mere moments to get his breathing slowed to normal, as one has experienced some running in his life.

Rathos smiles at the portly man and raises a black-stained axe in confirmation.
"Merfolk attacks common around here? Perhaps they were just hungry."
Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
