Krull replies back to Rabbit "I am not familiar with the way of magic! Something though tells me it's destiny.. firstly I found K.O and some say it's a curse but in him I found a friend..then those cards..(he sighs)I believe my brother protects me from beyond this world"
The mention of Wolfe triggers him"That coward..I knew he was a mercenary and was chasing his goals..what's the word?.. opportunist yeah that's it..but still ..We all are bind by our own code and then you see heroes in places you wouldn't..People who leave their lives and makes things better"
He smells himself and then the undead and says sarcastically"They still smell worse but no bath for them..haha"
Krull believes the amulet should go to Droop.. after all without him he would be probably food for the dead..and since the fates decided otherwise it's only fair to have it.He will say to Rabbit "If someone must have the amulet is Droop .He saved us many times in the past"
Rabbit takes the amulet, gives it to Droop. "Here. It is yours to do with as you wish. I would suggest you focus on it while we rest here and figure out what it does. Then you do what you wish to with it. Okay?"
"Yeah and who knows you might have a friend like K.O " Krull adds and then shows K.O with pride and his shield with the picture of wolves engraved on it
It took Droop some time and the unfortunate need to delay original plans, but the goblin dutifully picked up all the gold pieces and stuffed it into his backpack. But once he was done, Droop warily glanced back over his shoulder to the others, entertaining -- for just a moment -- the thought of keeping the coin for himself! However, whether because he spied someone capable of seeing him or simply upon realizing the futility in keeping it all, there's a defeated sigh from the servile goblin, before he gets up and returns to the others.
"... What?" Droop would later say to Krull, genuinely looking bewildered at the goliath. "Jewel friend? It great Booyagh then?"He looks to the amulet still in Rabbit's hand, as he hadn't quite accepted it yet. "Oooohhh~ Wait! You want Droop have? You all sure?"He looks back and forth between Krull and Rabbit, squinting at the pair each in turn. "Droop have fancy hat and whisper poker already. He even have -- oh! Droop remembers!"After taking a moment to fiddle around with his backpack, the goblin eventually produces the 50 gold pieces and offers it to Rabbit, seeing as she was closest at the time. "Here. Dead ones kept in sack, but Droop sniff out treasure. All for you! Annnd, uhhh.... You keep jewel. Droop, ehhh... fancy enough." He said with a shrug thrown out towards the end.
"Rabbit, let me send Marco for a closer look at the two areas I "saw" below this room. I don't think there is much there, but worth looking while we rest."
Margret sends Marco back out the south stairway, and down the corridors she mapped with stars for a closer look.
While the group rests, Marco flies back over the grounds he once covered (in his senses, or on his own, Margret?)
Finding a boulder to sit on, Calithor watches whiles Rabbit ritual casts detect magic for the first time with a tilt of his blond, pointy eared head he asks, "What is it like, Rabbit, I mean, what do you see?"
Margret looks through the owls eyes at the various corridors. Sometimes he goes just out of her range and she can't see clearly. "I don't know, there is maybe something down below" she tries to describe what she sees. "Then there is the pool of water, which we may find by exploring further north west of here." (OOC: Margrets token is at top, directly south is Marco, something to the west maybe?)
"And just above us at the top of the stairs to our north east is another large room with more to see for sure! There may then be a corridor at the farthest north of that room, veering to the left (maybe to the water?)"
She tries to describe what she sees above them and in the small passageway below.
With Droop refusing the amulet, Rabbit snatches it. She does take the coins that the goblin had handed over and counts out 10 gp to give to each person - including 10 gp back to Droop. "Alright, I'll see what this thing does then decide who might use it best. Thank you Droop for finding those coins! Let's rest up and get moving. I say we head north and see if we can find that pool."
She would use the short rest to identify the magic of the amulet.
Krull decides to rest as well..his wounds are not as bad and wide open as they used to since Calithor used his magic but they are still there..He knows it's more his spirit that essentially gets better..his resolve to carry on.He closes his eyes trying to reach out to K.O and asks him "Do you remember about yourself before becoming a weapon?"
He thinks it would be nice to hear his brother like he hears K.O
As happy as Droop was receive the coin, his expression either immediately turns sour at the mention of going north DESPITE Margret's relaying info about a flaming skull, OR without such details... merely grunting in acceptance of the plan. "You lead, I follow. As always."He'd assure either which way, though with perhaps a touch more grudging in his voice in the case of having more details. After which, he finally remembers the bow he'd dropped in his hurry to attack the ghouls, and so rushed back down the south passage to retrieve that, before then EVENTUALLY returning to the chamber and taking his rest on a table.
...At least until boredom gets the better of him, and he starts to examine his hat and sword cane a bit more over the rest of the short rest.
(OOC - flaming skull? I maybe just can't make the maps big enough, but I didn't see Margret say anything. Just that the water might be north and west.)
(@Culuril: Just below that they went on to generalize what is seen, using the picture as a shortcut. At least that's how I translated the last line in the post, but if I'm mistaken, more than happy to walk it back.)
(the familiar has it limits, 100ft then, one looses the Familiars senses, you guys moved from the previous position, so the pool is out of range)
After an hours rest Margret explores with Marco
Marco/Margret, sees:
A blast furnace and a mechanical bellows powered by a waterwheel dominate this large chamber. The furnace is cold and dark, but heaps of coal are piled nearby, along with carts full of unrefined ore. The waterwheel sits in a ten-foot-wide channel cut into the floor of the room, but the channel is dry. Passages exit to the west, south, and east. The empty channel exits to the north and east.
More than a dozen withered corpses are scattered around the room. These slain dwarves and orcs are still wearing the remnants of their armor. Floating above them is a skull engulfed in green flame, the skull is currently engaged in shooting moats of flame out of its eyes at a harmless, moth
Roll stealth, with advantage, Marco
(Btw, you know you can drop these pictures in discord, right?)

Rabbit, the amulet has a sheen of a golden aura to it, she looks around and doesn't see any other magics, laying around.
Droop
The bones on the ground are, a mix of dwarves and orcs, and one much larger set, maybe an Ogre.
During your search, you find a sack(that crumbles to dust) revealing 50gp.
Since he found it, maybe Krull should attune to the amulet, to find out what it is.

"Yea, but where do I get a bath? DIdn't Margret say something about a lake?" She looks for the woman. "Is that what you said?"
She's fine to let anyone figure out the amulet. But if someone doesn't just identify it soon, she's just going to take it herself!

Margret loses focus as she sees through Marcos eyes again.
Ok I set it up where you have a 100ft radius with Marco
