Mau drops to a knee as the arrow sinks into his shoulder, he looks up seeing one of the goblins trying to flee the flight. He growls loudly before launching himself forward after the fleeing goblin. (Use feline agility to double movement). “If you want to bring a fight to us you best finish it!“ When he reaches the goblin he lunges with his rapier.

Attack: 19 Damage: 6
Sorry looking at the map I wasn’t considering the enemy. You would open yourself up to an AoO I think if you did this. Unless you see a different route....apologies. But there are other foes within range....

Group 1 - Rabbit, Mau,G1, G4 Group 2 - G2 Group 3 - G3, Edryd, Krull, Wolfe
Mau, you bound after the goblin, catching up to it and slashing at it with your rapier. An ugly furrow appears on its back - a big hit! It stumbles around woozy from the strike!
Rabbit, once again, your skeletal hand chokes the life out of the goblin it attaches to - G4 drops dead!
G2 swings its scimitar at Edryd, rather feebly, as it watches the Tabaxi run past and cut down its friend: Attack:11Damage:6. G2 bonus action disengages and runs north, stopping at N2, eyes widening at the sight of a crouching Rabbit!
Edryd, Krull, and Wolfe are up! G2and G1 still stand, though G1 is barely up and when you look over at Mau, you're reminded of a cat toying with a mouse...
"Oh no you don't." Wolfe says and rushes forward along the treeline (to L4) and catches sight of the fleeing goblin (N2) and with another gesture of his hand he sends a beam of radiant crackling eldritch force streaking towards it. Eldritch blast: 7 Damage: 9 But to no avail. "It is getting away!" He shouts to the others."

Your blast splinters the trunk of a nearby tree, sending shards all over the place - a miss!
Edryd has a wild look in his eye as he slides to the side of the blade. He points at the creature ringing his bell madly hoping that more vigorous shaking of the bell will increase it's effectiveness.
Toll the Dead on G2
DC13 Wisdom Save
Damage: 3
He sees no reason to move and stays where is shaking his bell.

Between Edryd and Krull, they manage to first shame, then behead the goblin, its body crumpling in a shower of gore! Dead!
G1turns on Mau and with a desperate swipe of the scimitar, attempts to slice the furry smile from his furry face: Attack: 9 Damage: 4. It will disengage and run/hobble another 30 feet away....
Rabbit widens her eyes as the goblin comes near, then starts to continue to move once it falls. She keeps along the treeline, but moves in the direction of Mau and the other goblin. (to T5)
Again she casts Chill Touch and a third ghostly hand appears near G1.
(I think that’s the goblin dead, if not though Attack: 6 Damage: 10)
Mau pounces on top the goblin as the ghostly hand chokes the last of the life out of the creature and he loses all malicious intent towards the creature. He looks around for who provided the assistance, once spotting Rabbit he gives her a nod “we should return to the road, there may still be goblins yet.” He picks up the corpse and returns to the road as quickly as he can.
The shadow of Rabbit flits in the trees and you hear a faint rustling. Then you hear another gurgle as G1 chokes under the freezing, skeletal arm conjured by the mysterious woman.

"Excellent work everyone..." Wolfe says smiling, coming out of the woods again. "...sorry I couldn't be of more help but at least I found our missing rabbit." He adds, glancing over at Rabbit coming up behind him. Wolfe then investigates the dead horses, having a bad feeling over who they belonged to. Perception: 5 Investigation: 7
Edryd looks at his old, fatigued shield and pulls the arrow from it. He rattles his bell a few time and says, "I think my bell is broken those abominations did not seem to be the most willful of their kind..." He then goes to each of you checking your wounds then to the cart to see if he can recognize anything or anyone.
Wolfe, you take in the scene before you and it doesn’t bode well. The saddlebags have been looted and lay scattered. Not far away lies and empty leather scroll case and parts of a leather bound ledger lie torn and ripped - both are familiar to all of you. You last saw them in Gundren’s possession at the tavern a few days ago. Judging from the bodies of the horses, you’d guess they’ve been dead for about a day or so, clearly killed the many arrows that pierce their hides. Surveying the area including the northern embankment, you can easily see how this would be an ideal ambush sight. And both you and Rabbit notice signs of a rough hidden area and some trails among the trees. Anyone who wishes to look closer at the area in the northern embankment, where Rabbit and Wolfe were, roll survival. You can choose to help each other and look together or separate. Also anything else you choose to do, go for it - I only ask that describe what/how you do it.

Mau returns shortly after Rabbit and Wolfe with the goblin over his shoulder and throws it on top of one of the other goblin corpse and begins to look through their possessions for anything of use or clues. Investigation: 7 “what do you want to do with the bodies?” After searching the goblins he will turn his attention to the hidden area helping anyone who is searching Survival: 11
