The demon responds with a grin. "What do you think, bastard?" He clearly calls Valmarir this in good fun, but Valmarir's glare deepens.
Valmarir reaches into a satchel, pulling out a plain white shirt and cloth pants. He hands them to his father, before turning and starting to mutter and gesture at Calder and North.
Any chance I can see / hear what these gestures and mutterings are about? 9 perception.
Edit - OOC: Weird, Valmarir sounds a lot like the adults on charlie brown, doesn't he?
ooc: i was going to wait until i saw the result of Calder's action, but it has been 2 days, so...
I try to escape from the stone, but i am not strong enough to break it, so i try to squeeze through acrobatics 25. On a success, i stand next to the stone bonds. I do not make any threatening movements, but i doubt i could be a threat to either Valmarir or his father (Lio'lauth?) anyway.
ooc: 'on a success'? i am starting to talk in D&D monster entry language...
edit: ooc: natural 20... so even if the DC is higher than 25, i can still escape.
OOC: It would have been athletics, but you got a nat 20.
You break through the stone bonds, landing on the floor.
The blood Hunter was no fool. Nearly all of her compatriots were rendered useless in an instant. This winged creature was powerful enough to do it. A pity, North had accompanied them. It would have been better if the man had been outside. Noticing the tiefling's attention to Calder and North, she tries not draw attention to her herself, and see what Valmarir was doing.

You have no idea. You're too busy trying to make sense of what's happening.
It had been a Dispel incantation. Was the tiefling on their side or the being he called 'Father'? Kenari readied herself, keeping a watch on her stuck companions. If the tiefling wasn't on their side, then, she'd have to deal with him. Her fingers twitched, and the muscles in her arms tightened, as steadied herself.
OOC: Kenari is watching Valmarir at the moment. Is there a map of sorts? I can't tell how close or far everyone is tbh.

OOC: Sorry, I don't have a map. It's a medium-sized chamber, Valmarir and Lio'Lauth in the middle, You near the entrance, Moonoak to the right, Calder and North to the left, Gus behind Lio'lauth, and you can't see Dark Sight (He's against the wall directly to the left of the entrance). The chamber has a fairly high ceiling. There are a decent amount of blue crystals in the room, most of them in the back of the room where Lio'Lauth had been standing as a statue.
Valmarir continues his Dispel, and North and Calder's muscles relax as they regain control of their bodies.
Lio'lauth is taller than the tallest of the party, and is staring down at you right now. His muscles ripple under his new clothes as he walks towards you. His simple clothes turn into extravagant golden armor, a red cloak flowing out behind him as his crystal wings fold close to his body. "Why so tense, Half-Orc?" He asks you, his voice smooth and innocent. He moves to place a hand on your shoulder.
Feeling that whatever had bound him had faded, Calder does a cursory check of his muscles by stretching his neck from side to side, then taking a few cautious steps while shaking out his legs. He turns back to Lio'lauth to see the transformation of his clothes and is a bit awestruck. "Whoa whoa whoa!" He says as Lio'lauth reaches for Kenari, "why don't you keep your hands to yourself?!" After a moment he adds, "Could someone please explain to me what's going on?" The cleric looks back and forth between the two who are not in his party and North.
I try to figure out the intentions of Valmarir and Loi'lauth insight 7.
edit: ooc: low roll, really annoying. And now if i find a reason, and i know as a player that it is not true, i have to behave ingame as if it is.
Unfortunately, you can't discern any of Lio'lauth's intentions, but you see Valmarir turn to Gus and begin casting the same incantation as with Calder and North.

Lio'lauth stops, turning to you and swiftly making his way to you. He instead places his hand on your shoulder. "Why, young cleric, I simply mean to bring closure to you and your party." His beautiful shimmering crystal wings unfurl, and in them you see flashes of your brother, Symon, covered in blood with a knife in his hand, fury in his eyes. Alive, wounded, and fighting something you can't see. You see your parents, lifeless and staring at nothing. Then, you see Symon yelling at some robed figure, corpses of helmeted people littering the ground around him. The visions dissipate as Lio'lauth closes his wings.
Calder jumps back away from the winged entity, pushes its hand off his shoulder. "What is this you've shown me?! What do you know of my brother...and parents?!" Anger is rising within the cleric. He fights back tears that are welling up, as well as the urge to lash out with a spell, as a result of the images that were revealed to him. He turns from Lio'lauth and walls a corner of the cave to gather himself.
Not having seen what Calder did, i have no idea what happened, and thought Lio'Lauth attacked him. Angry and quite a bit worried, i say, half yelling, "What did you do to him?" without realizing it, i move my hand to my sword hilt.
Kenari hadn't expected the demonic winged thing to advance on her so suddenly. Caught off-guard from being an observer, she stood nearly dumb watching him approach and nearly lay hand on her. Calder called out. The half-orc breathed out in relief, but the reprieve was short. The demon was powerful to do something that affected Calder's mind. "Leave him be," she gritted her teeth.

Lio'lauth watches you storm off. "Well, your brother is currently safe and unharmed, far from that bloody mess. Your parents, well, they're dead." He says bluntly. "Bring what you may, cleric. Express your anger."

"I showed him possible futures, elf." Lio'lauth says nonchalantly. "Your blade looks well-crafted. Forged by a loved one, maybe? I may be wrong. You're... fuzzy, for some reason. I can't get a grasp on your history or futures."

"I never hurt your cleric, half-orc." Lio'lauth starts towards you. "Maybe you wish to see what your daughter becomes? I can show you."
Dark Sight is very concerned about the tone of this interaction, but is not moved to action. He is starry eyed by the magnificence of this creature, Lio'lauth. He quietly pulls out his notebook and begins to sketch Lio'lauth's likeness, so that the image does not fade from memory.

OOC: Dark Sight would like to make a history check against Lio'lauth's name and appearance to figure out what he knows about his race or culture. 6
edit: GD it, two crit fails in a row.
Dark Sight is remaining hidden, with similar thoughts as Kenari. He is ready to act if necessary.

OOC: writing in my character's backstory now, it might be needed...

OOC: not a high DC lol.
Realizing I am gripping my sword, I quickly take my hand off it. I ask Calder, "What did you see?"
ooc: i am starting to really care what happens to these characters...
