"All will be explained soon, please hurry." He says as he nudges you towards the ladder. He laughs as he says, "The Wakening will find you, my friends." He looks to the wall he created and starts to show fear. "If they catch you in here we are all dead!"
You can see cracks appearing in the stone wall. There are growls coming from outside, and a loud roaring that isn't unfamiliar to the party. It's a Firelord. If Dragconics are simple minded monstrosities then Firelords are the thing that they fear. Magically infused creatures with dark eyes that can snare a soul and arcane power that is terrifying to behold. They show no mercy, they have no fear. There are 4 Firelords in this country, Carnagith the Red, Brutalitus the Green, Markos the Gold and Yugitarinith the Prismatic. They are the Barons of Doom and the Lords of the Sheep. Carnagith is the Firelord of Greenlake and the surrounding area.

Okay, what are you guys doing? Fancir has given his dire warnings and the Wall of Stone won't hold forever. There is a ladder down into the depths of the tavern and one of the Firelords outside.

Argo scrunches his face at Fancir's shooing, but the pounding on the stone wall convinces him to go along with it for now. He heads down the trap door.
As you all climb down the crawl space you can feel the air around you getting cooler. As you reach the bottom of the ladder you come into some water about 6 inches deep. It smells down here, for it is a sewer. You can hear the little pitter patter of small creatures scampering around. The darkness extends beyond the light of a torch in a sconce on the wall. The torch itself is everburning and there is only one. When Brachos reaches the bottom of the ladder the opening at the top of the ladder closes and the ladder disappears. You can also hear the dripping of water all around you and you can see above your head (about 7 feet) roots growing down from the vegetation above.
The tunnel goes in two (2) directions. North and south. What would you guys like to do? Which way will you go? And what is the marching order for the group?
Brachos and Dro, you feel like you have heard of the Wakening before. Maybe felt it. You're not sure. It's like a thought forming at the back of your mind then disappearing. You reach out to grasp it and it's gone. You feel like you should be able to touch it, to feel it...everytime you do, it's just gone. You feel a sickness come over you every time you try to think of it. An uneasy feeling that something isn't right. Nothing you can speak of with certainty, but the feeling persists. You both are at Exhaustion Level 1.Rylei and Argo, you both are at Exhaustion Level Two. You have splitting headaches that are staggering. These feelings persisted since you were up above but now that things have slowed down. You don't know why you feel this way. Maybe the fight upstairs. The constant running and facing off against the Dragconics. The knowledge that you may be able to take down Firedeath one day.
(OOG There is a reason for this happening and a mechanic behind it. Brachos, you were SO close, though! Anyways, happy Thursday! This is the last day of work for me this week, we have tomorrow off because it is Good Friday. I will be one tomorrow while at home, between this and Overwatch I have nothing planned for tomorrow day. :) )

The sewer goes towards the north about 100ft and comes to a "T" intersection. Behind you, to the south, the sewer goes for about 40 ft and takes a right. The everburning torch is a torch that shines with the light of a torch, yet the flame is cool to the touch. There is still light here from the torch, bright light in a 20 feet and dim light 20 feet beyond that.

Some special abilities and environmental hazards, such as starvation and the long-term effects of freezing or scorching temperatures, can lead to a special condition called exhaustion. Exhaustion is measured in six levels. An effect can give a creature one or more levels of exhaustion, as specified in the effect's description.
LEVEL
EFFECT
1
Disadvantage on ability checks
2
