"You're safe!" Lyla calls to Lieserl as she spots her while looking for anyone else in need. She smiles thankfully, dipping her head in thanks as she takes her things, slinging her pack over her shoulder quickly, and pushing her rapier through belt sash. Good enough for now."It's good you know the situation. Try to see if you can organize people to create makeshift rafts. For whoever cannot get onto a boat, or is going to risk swimming."
At Xand'drila's comment, Lyla nods. She tries to smile at the children reassuringly. A hand is motioned for some of them to follow her as she begins towards the docks. "We'll be ok. The Knowing Mother will keep us safe, if only to carry news of this event."

As these new strangers do their business around the inn, Vivien would attempt to hear her wounds before doing her armor she brought in the case of emergencies. She'd also pack her things since she now knows the island is slowly being engulfed by the sea. Why is this happening?
“If you say so sir, hope you can keep this up! I believe there gonna be another wave of those shark face!” The cleric boy retreats to his ship, telling his crew about the situation at hand, Chrispin as you look at the sea, you see something in the distances but you cannot tell if it’s another one of those creatures or the tide is rising.
The women nods at you Xand'drila as they tried to rally everyone and headed to the ship calmly but quickly as they headed to the docks, Chrispin you guide everyone to the ship alongside with the cleric boy as you kept an eye at the sea and it’s starting to rise up as you can see the sea water reaching to your feet and looking at the other side of the island, it was half submerge as you see more refuges trying their best to reach to safety.
After group one have reached to ship safely, you see another group came to you with elderly and the sick as they struggle to escape from the flood. “That is not possible Lyla as we’re at a time limit and according to what I know about this disaster we’re gonna get eaten by the seas and everyone in the island will perish with those makeshift raft, there is still some people needs our help and hurry!” Lieserl pats on Lyla’s shoulder as she runs off to assist any of the villagers and help escort to the ship.
(I assume everyone had a short rest, pls roll the hit die Vivien and you guys got roughly 1 hour left before the island sink into the ocean)
Xan'drila seems to breathe a little bit when the child reach the relative safety of the ship.
"Well done Wolverines!" she says to them "You've made it. Now follow this good cleric and behave ok?" she nods to the woman that called them for help and helps the pregnant woman board the ship. "Everything is going to be ok" she says to her trying to reassure the woman. "You stay with her ok?" she says to the man that was helping her at the inn and, without waiting for him to reply, as if she were used to be obeyed, descend from the ship and assessed the situation with the rest.
"How many more can we bring here?" she asks to Crispin "We should help as many as we can... " she looks around the chaos looking for the teenagers they tried to discipline earlier.
"We can bring as many as we can fit," Crispin says, not really knowing how much the ship can hold. "Convince some of the crew to start tossing cargo overboard and perhaps we can fit even more..."
Crispin would suggest at least one other take to playing lookout with him, and whoever was good with convincing people of things get to the captain and persuade them to ditch the cargo and not cast off til the last minute possible."Tell them to think long term... Heroes make more coin than whatever they'll lose from this one trip!" Of course if the only cargo was people... Well throwing them overboard would kind of defeat the goal.

Lyla bites her lip. Of course all the ideas rattling off in her brain take time. They don't have that right now. She takes several deep breaths, trying to keep calm in the increasingly stressful situation. At Crispin's suggestion, Lyla turns her gaze to the ocean, keeping lookout for any approaching boats, and the more likely situation of returning adversaries.

Short Rest: 11
Vivien would wait upon the ship with her nailgun at the ready. Looking around at the chaos unfolding around her she would ask Crispin. "Do we have a possible destination of travel?"
"Good idea"says Xan'drila to Crispin's suggestions "In case the captain is reluctant try to talk to the woman with the children she has a good bag money that could help. Above the waves sounds good for me too" she says " I am going to try to bring more people here. "she says still looking for the shark hunters. "If you see those kids make sure they take more people on their boat.." she says before going back to help more elder to reach the ship.
Xan'drila as you look for those two teenagers that you discipline them, you saw them at the edge fighting off those creatures and preventing them from attacking the civilians that tried to make it to the ship, the tiefling boy is currently injured covering the flesh wound from his shoulders as he let out a fiery scream at them, turning those creatures to crisp. They are currently far away from you Xan'drila about 200 feet.
As you monitor at the sea while your friends are running around helping everyone deck, you see a big shadow emerged from the water and that sahuagin seems to be way bigger in size with extra arms and holding a trident as it followed by a group of smaller size of sahuagins and it's accompanied by 2 giant crabs trying to make their way to shore.
There are some injured people on the ship, nothing major on them as they nervously wait for the ship to set sail and waiting for their loves one to make it on the ship. most of the people here are regular people with no experiences with combat, children and sick and old people. "We're gonna die!" "The wildmother have cursed us with her wrath" "please forgive us for we have angered you Stormlord!" You hear the commotion that some believed that they are not gonna make it and arguing about some idiot messing with the divines.
“Everyone aboard now! We’re leaving!!” Crispin shouts to any who can possibly hear as he runs up the gangway. Once aboard ship he’d tell anyone right at the entry to keep hauling people aboard til were too far Sara for them to jump on.
Crispin would then, amidst the chaos, draw a pistol and shoot into the air for everyone’s attention. “QUIET!” He bellies. “You’re screaming won’t help! We’re launching this ship as soon as we can so shut up or ge tossed overboard as fodder to delay those things!”
His next target is the captain of the vessel, or whoever is in charge. He basically tells them the same “get us moving now” message but more nautically and with an offer to do whatever needs doing!
intimidation: 16 to try to get this ship a moving!
Vivien would quickly stand beside Crispin, seeing this rugged man of the sea could be adding more fear to some of these survivors. Calling out to the crowd she say, "Everyone please be calm! We will protect you and help will surely be on the way! There is no way the Clovis Concord would allow this creature to destroy our noble home!" She'd stand erect and strong, gazing over the crowd putting on the best smile she could.

Lyla looks back towards the island, looking for Lieserl. Cupping her hands over her mouth, she calls out, "Lieserl, hurry up!"
Hoping the human heard, Lyla rushes onboard the boat. She winces at the noise of the gun going off. Standing next to Vivien, she adds along, "You have not angered the gods! I know this is a stressful, but with your cooperation, we will get out of this alive and well. Try to focus on your breathing, or the people around you to calm down. And please, stay away from the sides of the boat!"

A'ro stands besides Crisipin and Vivien looking out over the crowds for a second before jumping back down and running over to the captain of the ship "What do you need done to help?" he asks waiting for orders.
Crispin you've managed to silence everyone on the ship due to your strange looking "Crossbow" and you can tell that everyone is frighten of you and this feels like they are being taken hostage, luckily for Vivien you've manage to calm the situation a bit but there is still a bit of uncertainty of the management and the crowd didn't event realize Lyla on the stage as the crowd are busy talking among themselves and starting rumors about this strange group of people asking them stay calm.
Lieserl is busy escorting some people to the ship and send them towards the elf trying to escort them. "There is still more people, can anyone of you make a distraction and make time for us!" She shouted at the elf as the human running back to retrieve more survivors.
A'ro as you are looking for the captain of the ship, you saw a very buff tabaxi on the wheels of the ship, waiting for something or someone as he turns his head towards you. "Not a captain, she out there retrieving something awaiting cap's orders. buy me some time kid like take out those sharktooth by using the Ballistas, those barons will be a danger if it's reaches to the ship!" The tabaxi replied as is he keeping an eye on everything."
You saw there is a single Ballistas facing the sea and a few giant arrows lying besides it and it's not loaded. from what you can tell A'ro you need at least 2 people to man the Ballistas, one is to load and aim at the cannon, the other needs to light it up and support the person firing the Ballistas as it can push people back.
( Ranged Weapon Attack:+5 to hit, range 200/800 ft. (can't hit targets within 60 ft. of it), one target. Hit: 27 (5d10) bludgeoning damage.)
((OOC - How packed is the ship already? How ready is it to disembark at this point? 'Cause Crispin is kind of thinking that firing Ballistas is just going to draw attention to the ship and make it a target. He's likely thinking better to save who is on board than risk losing everyone...))
Crispin wants nothing to do with the Ballista and instead moves about the ship yelling for the hatches to be battened and the sails to be clipped or moved or whatever - general prepare to sail commands. Crispin wants the ship moving asap... He's not intimidating so much as just pointing out what needs doing.
