Responding to Dr. Buddie, "Well then, this looks like a job for a real - uh, I was going to say man. But as I am neither man, nor mankind, I guess this is a job for a real tiefling then!" For the last part of the sentence she was distracted by Morrow getting further away, so as she finishes her proclamation she starts to jog over toward the mausoleum, trying to beat him there.
You all make your way to the imposing structure. It takes several of you pushing against the heavy stone doors before they start giving way, the aeons seemingly weighing on the large stone slabs.
The aboveground portion of the mausoleum stands empty, save for dusty floors, smashed funerary urns, and a stone staircase leading into darkness below. A stairway descends into the earth. At the far end of this hall of stairs is a single stone door. Pristine murals of humanoid bones adorn each wall, arranged into artistic images of the sun—similar to the sigil emblazoned upon the main door of the mausoleum. These sigils adorn the walls of each of the three landings in this hallway.
What would you like to do? If you want to start descending the stairs, please give me your marching order.

Other than the detritus and dust of bygone ages and a few critters quickly trying to elude the warm torchlight, the entryhall to the Mausoleum seems to be empty. The walls here are decorated in a similar fashion to the staircase leading further down and into the rocky underground, also showing repeated sun motifs, almost as if to mock the group of adventurers trekking through the sunless Ostoyan wildlands to reach this crypt.

Dr. Buddie gravitates to the back of the line. With Shelley perched on his shoulder and watching his back, the good doctor does prefer the more militant types to go first.
The moment the doors are pushed open, Morrow, ever the mistrusting scout, takes the lead in moving forward, moving as quietly and stealthily as he can now that his ability to fly about is limited.
Aftari will pull out her greatsword and hold it ready. "Well, onward and downward it is." She stays to the front of the line, possibly right behind Morrow, and tries to be as quiet as she can.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Agreed! This does seem to be quite the cheery place. I just love the artwork on the walls.” Ekaterina falls in line with the others. (Third works for me. She mimics the other two in trying to move quietly. But does still hold the torch aloft so everyone can see)
Morrow, as you reach the first landing and your boot touches the stone, the bone inlay sigils of the sun on both walls start to shimmer and glow, before a beam of radiant light shoots towards you!
Please give me a Dexterity saving throw, meet or Beat DC13, or take 16 radiant damage. On a success you take half that.

As the walls start to glow Aftari's attention snaps to the bone murals. On instinct she shouts "look out!" Then steps forward and makes a grab for whatever part of her companion she can latch onto to try and yank him back up the steps.
Morrow hears the Aftari's cry just as he sees feels something hiss and fire at him, doing his best, he tries to avoid the beam.
Dex save: 13
While still badly seared by the shot, the Tiefling manages to avoid the brunt of the damage and calls back, "Don't come closer! Traps!" He then groans in pain before taking a closer look about to see if there are more.
Morrow, you see two more landings before the door. You do notice however that the sun sigils made from what looks like human bones have returned to their previous state, seeming inert now.

Picking himself up, Morrow would point out the landings and call back, "Keep a close eye when walking around those." Now annoyed and in pain, Morrow quickly tends to his wound before moving forward, now making an effort to look about as he ventures forward, for any more traps.
"Hold on, Morrow, I wonder if breaking the sigils will disable the trap? Why don't I take a swing at it first?"
Assuming Morrow will allow it, Aftari will switch places and stand on the last step taking care not to step on the landing, then take a swing at the sigils on each side to try and scratch them or break them in some way.
Ekaterina ponders the meaning of all the symbolism seen since entering the doors. If it has any sort or religious or historical significance. (Let me know what you would like me to roll)
“Perhaps we should move forward more carefully after this.” She then peers forward as best she can to see if the symbols near this landing match the symbols near the subsequent landings.
Hadar will take fifth in line (I think that's all that was left). After the blast, he'll crane his neck to try and examine the sigils and see what he knows about similar mausoleums.
History/religion check, the modifier is the same either way: 12
