Ekaterina and Ha'liday had mixed results jumping over, but nothing bad happened so Aftari stages herself for the jump, prepared to try and use the walls to stop herself on the other side.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hadar hadn't chimed into the conversation but had breathed a sigh of relief when the group decided to just avoid the traps. The scholar part of him— which, admittedly was the majority part—had cringed at destroying the symbols.
He takes a breath and also attempts the jump.

Both Ekaterina and Hadar fail their jumps, but similar to Hal'iday quickly run to the other side, only for the beam to blast across the landing behind them. Timing it carefully, Morrow makes his way across shortly after the blast behind Hadar streaks across the landing. WIth that, you're all past the first landing and descend several steps down towards the next landing.

“These seemed like they were activated by something touching the landing so…” Ekaterina pulls an unlit torch from her back and prods the landing with it. (Given of course that it matches the previous landings symbols and such) “Maybe this will work…”
Ekaterina, your sparring exercises have given you a very developed sense of balance and so you have no trouble to balance on the short steps as you try to leverage the very short torch onto the landing. The first tap you make has no effect, likely because you didn't manage to bring enough force to bear. Unperturbed, you adjust your stance, and manage to apply more leverage on your second try, until you see the sigils on both sides of the landing light up, shortly followed by the radiant beam, from which you pull back just in time!
Please, everyone, roll initiative, as you are crossing the landing now that the whole thing is recharging.
Everyone that wants to cross, please add a d20 roll to your post.

“Do we really wish all these armed traps at our back?” Dr. Buddie inquires if the others are comfortable having these traps along their only known escape route. “In fact if given a few, ten minutes or so I am sure I could rig up an alarm that would warn us of danger coming up from behind us…
If nobody is keen on destroying the traps rather than avoiding then Dr. Buddie will again try to leap across…
Doc Buddie and Morrow cross the landing in quick succession, followed by Hal'iday, still somewhat stinging from the slip earlier. Aftari gets acrossas well, while Ekaterina regains her balance after triggering the sigils and starts running together with Hadar. You're both almost across the landing, when the sigils on both sides of you flare up once again.
Please give me a DC13 Dexterity throw, both of you. On a fail, Ekaterina suffers 9 and Hadar suffers 5 radiant damage. On a success, you suffer half that.

Ekaterina, you see the light flare and push both of you forward as fast as possible, but you and Hadar are both still singed by the beam. Although it too had taken some time to recharge, it seems like the sigils recharged twice as fast on this undamaged landing. Either way, all of you are on the last set of steps and faced with a large stone door, with Shelley the owl perched atop its large keystone. By now, you can all make out a faint shimmer of blueish arcane light come from the room beyond. Before that though, you're faced with another set of sigils before the door. Your reckon one person might be able to make the jump across, but there simply isn't room for more in front of the stone door, without opening it first.
How do you wish to proceed?

"I don't suppose that old man gave us a key for this, did he? Does anyone know anything about locks? I don't know about that magic glow though, I can't do anything about that." Aftari tries to get a better glimpse of the door, trying to guage how easy it might be to break it down.

Wincing a bit from the light from the sigil, “well it mostly worked. Are you okay?” Ekaterina inquires of Hadar.
