As Carodoc moves forward, he is to busy thinking about the horses to really observe anything else, but he seems to moving along stealthy enough that nothing seems to leap out at him either.
Baryeras, comfortable with the wilds and being in terrain he is familiar with, he is able to become nearly invisible within the brush. As he approaches the horses, he hears the soft rustle of movement within the shrubs to the sides of the road where the horses have been slain. Stopping and focusing intently on those sounds of movement, he is able to spot the movement of a few goblins on either side of the road. They appear to be impatiently waiting for any traveler to come upon the horses. Baryeras can also see that Carodoc is moving headlong into the goblins, but neither Carodoc or the goblins seem to be aware of one another.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Caradoc continues to tiptoe forward, finding his way between the horses. He kneels down to examine them for wounds.

Having waited slightly longer than the requisite two minutes and seen no sign of either Baryeras or Caradoc returning, Morgan gently urges Hrogar forward at a slow, cautious pace.
To everyone immediately around the wagon she broadcasts, *Be ready, everyone. I've got a bad feeling about this...*

OOC: Have the 2 miutes really passed? I mean... a round is about 6 seconds and the scouts had barely done one action... DM can we assume that the time had passed?
(OOC: Don’t misundertand me I am all about going there and be surprised by the surprised goblins!! But better be sure that the DM had done what he wanted with our scouts.. Then again they both seemd to have hide and the goblins are still waiting for them... so if none take action then the two minutes will pass and we will go right into the trap :) )

Assuming they flagged you down at the corner to stop and they moved forward at stealthing speeds, which is 1/4 to 1/2 movement speeds and the distance to the dead horses was about 100 feet away, Carodoc would have moved up to the horses in about 1 minute 5 seconds roughly. I would say with pauses for perception checks, we can move the story forward with the rest of the group moving towards the bend as Carodoc reaches the dead horses. You will not have a line of sight on the horses for about lets say 20 to 30 more seconds at a slow pace, and then you will be about 100 feet out yet.
This is all if you waited the 2 minutes they requested.
This below message of Carodoc sneaking forward and then examining the horse would be another 15-20 seconds minimum, so you will be just cresting the curve in the road, and start to have a clean line of sight on the horses.
Baryeras, you watch as the Halfling rogue moves towards the horse. Although he was initially sticking to the sides of the road, staying within the shrubs, he starts to move out into the middle of the road toward the goblins. What is remarkable to you is that somehow... even you loose sight of him for a moment. Even being out in the opened, his small form manages to slink from one small rock to another, one pot hole to the other. The only reason you can see him at all is because you knew where he was to start with, and he is not seeming to care about what is behind him seeing him. The Goblins in the bushes also do not seem to notice him either. From the dead horses the goblins are about 40 feet away on either side of the trail.
I can do maps for you guys as well, but I need 2 things. 1: Tokens of some sort for you guys. 2: Anyone know how to post them within this forum/way to upload it?
Carodoc: You have looked over the horses and found that there are arrow quills in vital spots in the horses. It appears as if a sudden attack had it the horses and they died quickly. There is a dappled white, and a nearly black dead horse. The dapple is smaller in size, and is nearing pony size on closer inspection. The saddlebags seem to have been looted already, and their is a pack of some sort you do not recognize as well. It has a hollow tube that you do recognize in it however. It is the kind of tube that holds maps.
I think you can create the map in something like Roll20 using the images from our character sheets here in DDB for tokens - upload it to somewhere like imgur - and then add that image to a post here by using the Insert/Edit Image button

Hrogar whinnies nervously and gets antsy as he rounds the bend and comes within sight of the horses ahead.
*Shhh, Shhh, it's alright, Hrogar,* Morgan broadcasts to the animal in an effort to reassure him as she directs him to slow to a stop. She can just barely see the trouble ahead but has no clue where the ranger and rogue have gotten off to, so she's being extra cautious.
She glances around at Cyrnair, Gelin, and Frixori. *Any sign of the others?*
Awakened Mind isn't supposed to work on animals, but I'd like to think that Hrogar and Morgan have been together long enough that, even though he can't understand the words, he recognizes her mental presence. DM's call on whether that actually works or not, but Morgan would still do it.
Caradoc blanches a bit at the smell of blood and death, and his fingers tremble a little as he picks through the empty saddlebags, finding the scroll case.
Holding the case in one hand and one of the arrows in the other, he waves his arms over his head at the wagon from where he's kneeling between the animals.
"Hey guys! Be careful! Someone shot them with one of these!"

What do you mean "hopefully they can't see me anyway"? You just shouted at us, 100 feet away, and started waving things in the air above your head! They'd have to be REALLY thick to not notice THAT. :p

Yes yes but I'm very wee! Horses are really thick so when they're laying on their sides, they provide a remarkably lucky level of cover!

PbP Character: A few ;)
I assumed the two minutes was more of an out of combat RP thing. If I was mistaken then I'll redact that last post. Input from the DM?
OOC: 6 seconds applies to combat rounds I thought.

The paladin readies his shield and sword and looks at Morgan when Caradoc cries out.
“Can’t believe it...” he mutters to her.
He takes two steps ahead of the cart, ready for anything.
”But are they still here or they left after killing the animals?” He asks to Caradoc.
