"Before we hunt these wolves I would like sometime to perhaps recover some of my magical reserves. That is unless time is of the essence." Darby says as they discuss.
Though moving the body out of town is an action hard to conceal I'll still ask a stealth roll for at least for of you (two carrying the body and two scouting, the remaining players may help and allow two players to roll with advantage) - I've said before that people inside Dougan's Hole aren't outside, this town is also the most inhospitable so it makes sense, however, there might be some other things lurking outside and that's what you are rolling against.
I'll add a spoiler box with the information of what you encounter if most of you fail the roll. I'd like to do it this way so we don't stall the game longer. If must of you pass you manage to dump the body in a safe place unnoticed.
Stealth DC: 17 (at least 3 must roll same or higher)
After finding a good place to dump Sephek's body and actually getting rid of it. You notice a big shadow creeping besides you, but the sounds made by the creature aren't hostile, a soft whimpering echoes around you and when you turn there's a big wolf limping on one back leg...
"I'm sorry to bother you...but I need your help" - Says the wolf with a raspy but soft voice.
(Assuming we've failed with a 5 and a 10), Grim will look at the wolf, while presumably still holding Sephek's legs, and politely respond, "Uh, yes, friend wolf, how might were be of service?"
Sarya is startled by the big wolf that somehow crept up on them, quickly scrambling through the snow to get away from it, ending up behind the goliath. "So the wolf that presumably took those youngster want's our help huh?" She says in a lowered voice to Ghathi. Insight to determine intentions of the big speaking wolf: 6
Ghathi tries not to laugh as Sarya scrambles backwards. "Perhaps," he says in response to Sarya's comment. He watches the wolf with interest to see what it might want.
Sarya could see some serious pain in the wolfs eye, how it lifted its paw hurting and whimpering reminded her of a smaller creature, maybe that she knew before in the past, on the other hand Ghathi being more used to wolves from the area looked closer notice how the wolf sometimes forgets which leg he's supposedly limping on.
"I suppose you don't have something to help me with my leg, don't you?....well that's not what I need now, there is something far more important. Two kids were kidnapped by Garagai a mean old frost giant...he is my master but he is no good master, he keeps beating me you see? here in my leg so it hurts much now! the kids are still alive we can help them and while we are at it make that Garagai pay for being a mean master! let's go it's only half a day's walk. ((Since you waited until Torga closed shop and then dealt with Sephek's body right now it should around 8pm to 9pm)) Maybe kids won't last until next day! let's go!"
The wolf kept pacing all the time as if he was inviting you to follow it after each sentence.
Grim blinks. This seems... unlikely. He considered the wolf. Insight check: 16.
The wolf is clearly lying, his limping is not consistent and those noticing that start noticing the rest of signals like tone of voice not matching properly what the wolf is telling.
Grim sighs, and glances at his companions, "Even the wolves in Dougan's Hole are lyin' now."
He looks back at the wolf. "I expected better from you. Wolves're noble creatures, not given to lying to procure their meals. Are times so hard now that you must abandon your nature?"Then almost to himself, "Auril, you're unbalancing us here."
Hoping that Grim knows what he's doing Sarya readies herself for the big wolf to attack if it get's too aggravated. She tries to keep a good look out for that other wolf that they saw earlier likely prowling around somewhere. "Is it normal for wolves to speak here in Icewind dale?" She asks the goliath in a lowered voice. Perception: 6

((Since Grim is a druid from the region I'll answer for him: Winter wolves communicate with each other with snarls and growls, but can follow simple conversations in common and giant...so it's not as normal for them to have a fluent conversation, however, there are many frost druids in the region including giants and Goliaths and stronger druids can use their power to allow animals to speak))

After Grim confronted the wolf, another one made himself visible - initially to Sarya who was actively looking for the second wolf. Very upset the second wolf comes closer to the group and after a low growl he says:
"I told you Koran, they won't belive those lies...they only care for themselves so there's no need to pretend any weakness" - he then turn to the group - "It's awfully cold in that lodge, they won't suffer much longer. It's only a matter of time before Garagai skins and eats them." they prepare to leave as if they aren't waiting any response from you. ((but you can ask something or propose something. We will roll deception, persuasion, intimidation depending on what you want to say. Depending on the result they will either stay longer or bolt.))
"So if you admit to lying, why would we believe that you even have those kids? And why would you tell us of this anyway? If it is as you say, that they are captives of a frost giant it would be suicidal to try and rescue them. Try to make sense and we might listen to your story." Sarya calls out after them as they are about to leave.
(Not sure what kind of roll would be needed for this, if any.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Dwalt listens but says nothing for now. He scans his memory for any information he can remember about these wolves and/or their giant master. History: 10
Garagai is a name that rings a bell to you but only as a tale or stories from way back when you were a kid, no one has seen him for a long time. Though it is fair to say that giants rarely visited or attacked Icewind settlements so most of the stories served as cautionary tales
The wolves head towards west leaving a trace behind. Besides that it is important to mention that it is around four hours before midnight so you can still return to Goodmead. (it is a four hour walk)
"So does anyone else think we should mind our business here and instead collect our money for dealing with Sophek?" Darby asks no one in particular as he continues to tightly grip his focus.
