First though, how did all of you meet/what drew you to goldburg?

Klif returned to Goldberg after hearing about the missing people, wanting to investigate. This is because Goldberg is his hometown, and he would like to protect it.

The large mining settlement of goldenburg lies in the heart of a dusty plain with little life or settlement, except for this metropolis. It is the largest establishment in all of Aurakshein, with a total population amounting somewhere from 1-1.5 million at the last census. All of these people earn a living from their mining, extracting gold, silver, copper, and other materials used to create coins. The main race living here are the dwarves, who founded the city by carving into the earth. The other races soon built atop the dwarves city, making Goldenburg the first “melting pot” city in the world. For years they thrived peacefully, earning coin in the harsh landscape, solving the water problem by drilling into the earth manually and magically. They created farms underground, with artificial suns giving the light to grow. Then, at the start of the 123 year of Goldenburg’s existence, disaster struck. 

Each night for 193 nights, one hard working man has disappeared, a doll stuck with pins through the heart in his place. Th.e locals can only assume the worst, that they will never see those taken again. The waterlines stopped working a month ago, leaving some dying to thirst, and the crops cannot grow, leading to potential starvation. The leaders of Goldenburg, one man or woman from each race, have offered a one time 100 gold pice reward for information regarding these attacks, or the functioning of the water system. They offer a 1000 gold piece reward for the solving of either of these mysteries, with some extra gratitude potentially involved. 

Adventurers wishing to receive rewards, or converse with the leaders can meet them at the city hall, with proof of their being adventurers to be allowed entry. Other locals may also be visited, including the tavern, the inn, or some of the many shops.

Alright. I have a quick question. Should we play on this thread, or should I make a new one to acually play on so there’s not as much scrolling needed to get to the acual gameplay?

Does it have to be done on these threads? Would a discord be easier?
