Rizo looks up in surprise, "Who's there?" Slowly, he puts down his shield and pack and places it in front of him, "Please, help yourself. We don't want any trouble." He keeps his club in hand, leaning on it as it were a walking stick.
(Rizo is trying to buy time in case someone has some better idea how to react. By the way, Bruce the spirit boar - I assume that's the B mark - disappears after one hour, Rizo will have to re summon it.)
(By the way, Bruce the spirit boar - I assume that's the B mark - disappears after one hour, Rizo will have to re summon it.)
Indeed, the B mark is Bruce. I'll update the map once we figured out where we all are.
(Don't worry about it, he'll be back soon. On another note, I think the encounters are way too weak for a group this large as ours, how about we just double the numbers? I.e. make it 2 thugs and 4 bandits, this would be more of a challenge and it also doubles the XP from the encounter.)
Maybe wait to see how this one goes? It's quite possible to get 6 or 7 threats and ony one short rest. Unless Minty, Lilgrea and Egan want to do it right away. I'm flexible.
Agreed - I think wait to see how this one goes first - it might be that we just got lucky on the rolls before, some challenges will doubtless be easier than others, that one may have just been on the really easy end of the scale.
Replying to Justin, Lilgrea says "Um, well, I suppose I've picked up a few useful tricks from", and is abruptly interrupted as a she hears a loud, booming voice shouting 'Well, well, well'. Looking up, she sees the Thug at the edge of the clearing. Turning back to Justin, "You look like you've seem some adventuring in the past, is this normal, being attacked so often? I didn't realise the woods could be this dangerous!"
Minty hasn't seen a crossbow that grand in a while. He had been meaning to buy one when he had the cash, but sometimes fate provides (if he lives of course).
Minty takes a quick shot with his bow at the B1. Attack: 15 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. ((assuming B1 has 3/4 cover. If not, add 5 to attack roll))
He then moves to the woods (1 square west and 4 squares south) and attempts to hide. Stealth: 8
The Thug looks very hurt after taking the hit. "Argh! To me!", he shouts.
Lan (bandit 1) seeing his boss getting trashed with a singe hit thinks: " I didn't sign up for this shit". He shoots a quick bolt at Rizo who has dropped his shield:
Attack: 5 Damage: 2
He moves 10ft south and uses 10ft of movement for 3/4 cover.
Seeing Justin smacking the thug with his warhammer, Lilgrea follows that with an Eldritch Blast, hoping that seeing their leader getting mercilessly bashed might discourage the bandits from attacking. Attack: 21 Damage: 11
Edit: I have no idea what that weird 'dice rolls not available for this section' message means! I'll try again: Attack: 12 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

Justin replies:
Maybe? I'm not a good example, you know "punish the guilty, right the wrong" and all that.
Justin now notices the heavy crossbow that the Thug is aiming at Lilgrea.
Get behind me!
He shoves past Lilgrea. (now 2 empty squares between Justin and Thug).
I need you all to tell if you want to be somewhere else on the map and ROLL FOR INITIATIVE!
Justin initiative: 22
Thug initiative: 2
Bandit 1 initiative: 19
Bandit 2 initiative: 10

(Ok, let's see how it goes difficulty-wise. It's just that in the last adventure it was similarly easy.)

I'll be next to Minty.
Just as a note, I still have Mage Armor up (8 hours total).
Minty initiative: 22
Initiative order: Minty (22) - Justin (22) - Bandit 1 (19) - Lilgrea (17) - Bandit 2 (10) - Egan (8) - Rizo (5) - Thug (2)
Updated map:
Minty, you see Rizo dropping his shield and Justin pushing past Lilgrea. You're up first! What do you want to do?
Player: Any Good Alignment // DM: Lawful Evil
Minty hasn't seen a crossbow that grand in a while. He had been meaning to buy one when he had the cash, but sometimes fate provides (if he lives of course).
Minty takes a quick shot with his bow at the B1. Attack: 15 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. ((assuming B1 has 3/4 cover. If not, add 5 to attack roll))
He then moves to the woods (1 square west and 4 squares south) and attempts to hide. Stealth: 8
The quick shot misses, but you feel very well hidden. Almost at the same moment you see Justin forward.
Eager to show that he can also hit something, Justin runs to the Thug and wacks him with his Warhammer. (2 squares south)
Attack: 23 Damage: 11
If it hits, Divine Smite: 15
Player: Any Good Alignment // DM: Lawful Evil
The Thug looks very hurt after taking the hit. "Argh! To me!", he shouts.
Lan (bandit 1) seeing his boss getting trashed with a singe hit thinks: " I didn't sign up for this shit". He shoots a quick bolt at Rizo who has dropped his shield:
Attack: 5 Damage: 2
He moves 10ft south and uses 10ft of movement for 3/4 cover.

Lilgrea, you're up!
Player: Any Good Alignment // DM: Lawful Evil
Seeing Justin smacking the thug with his warhammer, Lilgrea follows that with an Eldritch Blast, hoping that seeing their leader getting mercilessly bashed might discourage the bandits from attacking.
Attack: 21 Damage: 11
Edit: I have no idea what that weird 'dice rolls not available for this section' message means! I'll try again:
Attack: 12 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
OOC: And editing the post has made the weird message I saw go away, strange! Ignore that second attack roll.
