He looks at the dead around him and listens to what Kha said. He throws down his scimitar and raises his hands up. Sullenly he said "I give up, do your worst"
Roxaria lowers her longbow and fastens it to her armor with the quick release. She picks up her shield and slings it over her back. Then she picks up her longsword and cautiously approaches the wounded elf, kicking the scimitar away. She notes the aggravation in Trem’s voice, but chooses to ignore it to focus on her job.
”You’ll be treated accordingly and fairly.” She snarkily adds, “You will be turned in and judged by the town of Palebank. I do not hold such authority. Things will go easier on you if you cooperate.”
On a hunch, she speaks in between labored breathing, “And how many relics did you find here? What’s your name? Do you work for someone else?”
Roxaria winces at the crossbow bolt lodged in her armor below her shoulder blade. She notices the elf’s wounds and does her best to treat him first. The elf is in proper custody and is bound by prisoner’s “rules of conduct” to receiving care.
Eline watches the whole scene unfold, feeling quite useless. She made a couple elves shiver a little, while the heavies up front laid out all the death! Just once...she wanted to not feel useless, especially in combat. When Trem approaches her, however, her mood lightens. "Those hands sure are good at what they do there, aren't they, mister?" She says in a softer, lighter tone. "Wonder what else they're good at?" She flashes a smile at him, her face flushing slightly, despite the cold. The adrenaline and spark of battle still hasn't lost its edge, and despite her complement to him, her heart still pounds its hefty battle-ready rhythm through her body.
Seeing that the situation is well in hand by the others, Reginald announces, "I'll start checking for magic" and get comfortable, starts chanting, while observing the room (Ritual : Detect Magic, casting time 10 minutes).
"Well that's going to depend on him." Kha replies to Roxaria and slings his shield across his back.
"See my large friend over there," his says kneeling down to look over the thief's wounds. "If you don't tell us everything y'all were up to here, I bet he can make you wish you shared the same end that the others in your gang here had. If everyone here is happy with your answers then I'll patch you up and you can go home rethink your chosen profession. And if I find you trying to steal again, I'll end you myself. You won't be getting a second chance."

“Hulil?” Roxaria is surprised. “Hulil sent the six of you? Do you work for her or did she pay you as mercenaries to look here? Did you come from the Croaking Cave?”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Trem gives Eline a warm smile. He strokes her hair behind her ear and says:
Well, they can do this...
Suddenly he pulls a silver coin from behind her ear. Trem then takes her hands, puts the coin and closses them. When Eline opens her hands there are 6 silver coins there.

What were they looking fo-hor?
Eline gasps in delight and awe at his deft handiwork, and clutches the six silver to her chest. "Wow! You've got quite the skilled hands there! I'd say you were using a prestidigitation enchantment, but for the lack of components or even a focus of some sort, I'd say you're quite the magician, without needing much magic, of course."
She looks about then, and takes stock of the party's situation. Apparently, the big bruisers in front had dispatched many of the elven thieves, sans one, who seemed to be at the mercy of the orcish cleric, Kha. The rest lay dead or dying all about. Her stomach lurched slightly. She wasn't used to so much wanton death. Feelings of inadequacy and uselessness crept over her again. Would she ever be able to be of any real use?
She smiles once more at Trem, and moves past, making her way to Roxaria and the others. She watches carefully as Roxaria interrogates the injured bandit. Silently pointing her finger at the hapless elf, she whispers under her breath, seeking to persuade him quietly to tell Roxaria more information.

"Tell her all you know, and we will keep our promises to let you go."
Trem will attack Skirmisher 5 who is in melee with Kha. This is starting to look good. Don't screw thus up now! Trem tries to stab S5 with his rapier.

Crossbowmen 4 dies under Vauthok's greatsword.
Skirmisher 5 is wounded from Trem's rapier.
He looks at the dead around him and listens to what Kha said. He throws down his scimitar and raises his hands up. Sullenly he said "I give up, do your worst"
Trem grabs him by his clothes and throws him to Roxaria.
That would be your department! Try to figure out what they were searching for, before you pass "judgement" on him though!
Trem goes and picks up his daggers, cleaning them with the cloaks of dead Elves (ooc: unless you want me to roll for finding them).
He walks up to Eline to check if she's ok.

(No its fine to retrieve your dagger.)
Trem will proceed to loot the bodies while Roxaria is questioning the Elf.

As she tries to help the wounded prisoner elf, she calls over her shoulder, “Kha, would you be willing to help him? I am limited to basic care.”

Reginald senses no magical items.
The bandit takes a ragged breath and answers Kha "We were sent here to look for any magical items or a possible cure for this freezing sickness"
Roxaria inquisitively asks, “Who sent you to look here and how long have you and your accomplices been searching this place?”
She begins searching the elf to see if he is wearing any identifiable insignias and if there is anything of interest in his possession for evidence.

Roxaria finds nothing of note.
The bandit looks at Roxaria and he said "We were sent by Hulil and we have been searching for an hour"
“Hulil?” Roxaria is surprised. “Hulil sent the six of you? Do you work for her or did she pay you as mercenaries to look here? Did you come from the Croaking Cave?”
The Bandit winces in pain and responds "Yes we work for her. How did you know about Croaker Cave?"

Not all magic is arcane or divine *wink*
Trem walks to the door in the back. What could be behind that? As his hand moves to open te door he thinks: better check if it isn't trapped.
