As the mummy's attention turns to Jeannette, Nebb's fingers begin to make rapid movements while phasing in and out of reality, then he quietly whispers to himself "I do believe you deserve a do-over"
Reaction: Chronal Shift
As a reaction, after you or a creature you can see within 30 ft. of you makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can force the creature to reroll. You make this decision after you see whether the roll succeeds or fails. The target must use the result of the second roll.
Jeannette avoids being frightened, thanks to Nebb's intervention. She does, however, notice that her rapier is not as effective as she would normally expect.
Aeron hits the mummy a second time. The mummy has taken some punishment, but is still standing.
Whistler grimaced. Their opponent was resilient, and apparently mundane weaponry didn't do much. He himself didn't have any magical blades though, so he grit his teeth as he tried to do what damage he could to the creature.
FREE: Draw two daggers MOVE: Back up ten feet ACTION: Attack, throwing a dagger at the mummy * Dagger Throw - Attack: 24, Non-Magical Piercing Damage: 10 BONUS: Attack, throwing the off-hand dagger * Dagger Throw - Attack: 17, Non-Magical Piercing Damage: 4 EXTRA: Add extra damage from Psionic Strike to first dagger that hits - 3 Force Damage
Whistler ends his turn still 25 feet from the opponent, with at least two psionic dice left (three if neither attack hits.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jeannette shakes her head slightly and takes a breath before glancing down for a moment before letting out a soft sigh. 'Could be worse...' She thought before tightening her grip on it. Then she shifted her gaze towards Aeron before saying, "The fire burning within you is as great as a thousand suns! So use that fire to light your way through the darkness." Then she attacks the mummy with her rapier again even though it wasn't doing nearly as much damage as she had hoped.
Bonus Action: uses Bardic Inspiration on Aeron {you gains an inspiration die (1d6). For 10 minutes, the creature can add it to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. This can be added after seeing the roll, but before knowing the outcome.}
Jeannette takes a seat, pulls out the letter from her pack and reads it before placing it back into her pack with a small smile then she uses the rest of the time to rest up a little.

Jeannette glances over at Aeron and chuckles softly. "Oh... it's from a friend of mine from back home. I thought that I had lost it while I was on the road a while ago. It's not all that important but it reminds me of home."

{Sadly Jeannette's weapon is not magical.}

"Well, that was a fight. But with that mummy out of the way, this place looks pretty safe. We ought to rest here before we continue."
Spark prepares some lunch and offers it to the party. Everyone may take a short rest, after which we will face 4 more threats.
