“I’m Akyan”, he reply’s flatly, then gestures to the fairy, “That’s Sheerow,” he gestures to Aaron “and that’s Aaron. He’s says he’s a mage.”

Finally noticing the other people inside the tavern, she flies over to their table and butts in, "Well, we're also fighting darkness! Why don't we work together? It wouldn't make any sense to do the same thing separately." She waves her hand in greeting, after Akayan mentions her name. "Nice to meet you!" She seems to already think that everyone's agreed to go together, despite the fact that no one from the other party has said anything.

Rieka nods towards the fey in greeting, and glances over to Aaron with suspicion in her eyes. 

"Nice to meet you, Sheerow," she says in a measured tone. "I'm happy to work with you, though I think you should teach your companion some manners."

"Lady Graytail, there is no need to faze yourself. Hopefully our intentions align with these two well meaning individuals." Thalanil politely stands up to greet the newcomers, though he is keenly aware of Rieka's annoyance at the intrusion to their conversation. "Lady and gentleman." He looks at Sheerow, then Akyan. "Please allow me to introduce ourselves. My name is Thalanil, and I am but a humble Cleric servant of The Wise God, Oghma. Lady Graytail here presented me the letter issues by the Leaders of Blink, and we intend on taking its call. Perhaps we can come to a mutual agreement that will be beneficial to all of us?"

Thalanil looks at Sheerow. "Dear Sheerow. Are you by any chance from the Feywild? I would love for an opportunity to visit that fabled land."

Akyan rolls his eyes at Reika’s comment. 

He nods to Thalanil, “We’re all here for the same purpose, might as well help each other.”

"Fine," Rieka sighs, calming down. "I'm with Thalanil. Do you have any information that can help us with this quest?"

“I used to be an ex-smuggler. I can take you to the place where the evil festers in this city.”

"I mean I'm a fairy, so I guess? I don't really remember, I've lived on this plane since I was a baby." She shrugs, and a hint of darkness flashes before her eyes. "I've lived with only a few other fairies, so I know all the rules and stuff, but.. I don't know." She shakes her head vigorously, as if to somehow shake the darkness from her mind. "But yeah," Sheerow continues, with her usual cheery tone, "Aaron's been telling us of this thing called a... what was it called? A truss? Trussm? ...Traveler? I can't remember. Anyways, I think that's the first place to start, cause apparently it's this suuuper powerful creature that he," she jerks her thumb over her shoulder at Aaron, "knows how to tame. And it's dangerous in the hands of people that don't know how to tame it."

“They’re called tressyms. They’re the most dangerous creatures of them all.”

"Tressyms... Interesting, if memory serves me well, they are small winged creatures. I am not sure how dangerous they cold be." Thalanil searches his memory for any information regarding Tressyms. Perhaps, one of the tomes that he carries in his backpack might have an entry for the creature.

Akyan looks to Thalanil, “You’ve heard of these creatures? What else do you know about them? I’d appreciate hearing about them from a second source.” 

Rieka glances over to Aaron. "The most dangerous creatures of all? That's quite a claim. How did you come to learn how to tame these...tessyms?"

“Well… you see… I… bonded with a few when I… was a child.”

"You..what?" Rieka says, confused. "Bonded?"

"Yeah, apparently they both come from the same world or something? If I remember correctly." Sheerow looks over at Aaron expectantly.

Thalanil thinks for a brief moment. "My memory does serve me well, of course. A Tressym should be a harmless winged cat, thought they are pretty smart for a small creature." He looks at Aaron. "I am very curious regarding your claims, by good sir. Perhaps you can show us what you are referring to?"
