Cinder stops near the collecting refugees, then looks back towards where the centaur stood. "She's over there, talking to more of those fish things. I don't know if its going to turn into a fight, but if it does we should be ready." She places a hand on her shoulder muttering a quick incantation and casting Mage Armor on herself before looking towards the centaur and the potential fight.
(Unless otherwise told Im still using my steath roll of 26, I asked the DM. Casting Message does not break stealth)
Malenia, creeping over the rooftops as opposed to the dead sprint she was taking moments before. Shift's from one roof onto another, once getting the fish creatures and Noble in sight. She will eject her saber from her prosthesis and just hold it, not igniting it yet. Her keen eyes charting a path for her to take to street level in case she needs to make a dash down to aid in any sort of fight. She also send's a Message to the Centaur. "Stay calm Centaur, I am Malenia. Im on the rooftop, Im here to help."
Stasolya maintains her imposing stance, glaring down the fish men. "The Princess is not yours to demand audience with in this rapacious and unseemly act of aggression. What can she do for you?"
Malenia's message creeps into the centaur's mind, and, intrigued, she sends a thought back at the voice, although not knowing if it will be heard. Thank you for your assistance, my friend. We must protect the Princess.
"Princess Andromeda has been summoned by Queen Bavmorda and the Imperial Alliance. Kygrax has come to enforce this summons, and he shall not be denied. Your interference... Is unwise."
Therian and his entourage back away from Stasolya. His words are measured but direct.
In the distance, the battle continues, with the mounted warrior hewing at the beast crawling out of the sea, but not seeming to make any headway in stopping the onslaught.
The caravan that rallied from the keep continues their seaward march...
Pag tells to the crowd, “Danger is coming from near and far! A monster attacks the coast and his agents prowl the city. We cannot fight the Kraken. We need some volunteers to usher the refugees further in land and fighters to hold off the Kraken’s agents so that they don’t pursue the vulnerable nor the princess. Volunteers head to the front to lead the way. Fighters rally to me and we’ll protect the rear flank of the refugees as they flee.” And then in a lower tone to those closer to him, “I am Pag, captain of the Dragonfly. Where did that centaur go? Do you have any ideas? We can’t fight the Kraken, but we can protect these people.”
Pag, a little taken aback at Ventris asking a question instead of just following orders replies, "Skills? You mean besides my bow, rapier, and daggers? And of course, my natural leadership qualities? That's all I have to offer I'm afraid. And who in the hell are you?"
"The name is Ventris. I ask because if we are working together, we should know what we are capable of. As for me, I can handle myself in melee," gestures towards his plate armor, shield, and mace. "but I am a spellcaster. If you need healing, I'm the one to ask."
Malenia stays low but now is moving to leave the rooftops and return to the street level, Still with her Saber in hand unignited and keeping a watchful eye on the creatures as they back away from the Centaur.

“Alright, Ventris. It has already been a long day. I see you can handle yourself. Good. Are you with that centaur? A friend of yours or something? Let’s stick together here and shepherd these refugees away from the city and keep an eye out for more fish men.” Pag rolled perception: 20.
"I'm Cinder," the tiefling says to the two. "I'm particularly talented at setting things on fire." Cinder keeps an eye on the group of fish creatures, ready to jump in if the centaur needed help. "Sticking together is probably the smart thing. As much as I'd like to know more about these creatures and whatever the voice is coming from, I don't like the idea of going towards the angry roaring."

"Enforcing a summons? This is an act of war! You have revoked all right to a diplomatic response!" Stasolya takes a couple of steps after the fish men as they back away from her. She can see refugees fleeing the shore towards safety, others helping them along. Where is the Princess? Stastolya tries to think if she knows where the Princess might be. And she keeps an eye on those fish men, trying to get a sense of what their next move will be.
"We're not requesting a diplomatic response. The Princess is to be surrendered, or we'll take her and Argos both by force." Therian replies. Two more of the fish creatures step up in front of Therian, and then the fish things begin to move forward, toward the Centaur.
The battle at the beach suddenly takes a turn. The warrior on the pegasus takes a hit, and is flung into the city, crashing down somewhere between the caravan heading toward the seashore and the forming party's current position.
Malenia, creeps closer still. Still with her unignited saber in hand. She stays lows and quiet, watching as the Centaur speaks with the Noble looking fish-manthing. Ready to dash to the Centaurs side if a fight were to break out.

To Ventris and Cinder, Pag says, "Look! There. And there! We're being over run by fishmen. There are too many for us to fight all of them." Pag points out that more and more fishmen are swarming the city. "There! Did you see the pegasus fall from the sky? We need to speed up this retreat, with or without the centaur. Can any of you send them a message to retreat immediately?"
Stasolya stands her ground, but her expression softens as she finds herself recalling the ringing of the bells. The Princess will not stand by and see Argos destroyed. Long live the Princess.
"Perhaps you will receive one nonetheless," she says to Therian and his entourage. "The noble heart of the Princess has room even for the rash and aggressive. Did you hear the bells ring? That is her sign to you. Remember her act of generosity!"
The centaur takes her pipes again and begins to play. This is a royal march, a noble and ordered tune, with a hint of melancholy, that speaks of the greatness of heart that even under persecution remains calm in the storm.

"If by 'message' you mean bonfire then sure," Cinder says only half joking. She turns towards the refugees and calls out. "Keep moving inland! The further from the water, the safer you'll be!"

And to everyone else, he yells, "I know everyone is tired and scared, but we need to go, NOW." Persuasion 18
Then Pag looks around again to see if any of the fishmen are getting closer, potentially blocking their path. Or perhaps there is so way Pag and his companions could block the path behind them to prevent the fishmen from following. Investigation 10
Malenia, Seeing the dozens of creatures moving threw the city feels a very familiar chill creep up her spine. Silently she moves around the buildings and pass where the centaur and Fish creatures are. Getting closer to the group now convening but remaining hidden. She then sends anotherMessageto the centaur. "My Friend, this is not a battle we can win. They greatly outnumber us, they are swarming the city. We have to Retreat."

The crowd continues to file up the street away from the surging behemoth at the shore. With the pegasus down, and the approaching caravan mired in the sea of people trying to escape, there was little now to slow the creature slithering out of the sea and heading inland, leaving a trail of rubble in its wake and destroying buildings with hurled debris and crashing lightning. Water was sweeping over the levees now, rolling further and further up the streets and getting deeper and deeper. Carts and stands along the road were swept away in violent waters...as well as some of the smaller people...
With two more of the fish men things joining the throng in front of Stasolya, they seemed to have finally mustered the courage to continue to press forward, and all six began marching up the road toward the Centaur with Therian behind them.
"We will leave when we have her." Therian replied to Stasolya.
