Watching the injured man turn into a crocodile, Dimitri paused, took a double take. The man (now crocodile man) had taken a lot of damage, but still standing. He had told the man to run a second go, but it seemed like he was doing better than he was. "Okay." He grumbled, "That works too." If the injured man was going to stick around, he didn't mind using him to cover himself. He snuck up to the slightly smaller centipede for another stab.
"I'm not interested in guessing, Dimitri" Khessa doesn't lose her smile. "I just wanted to tell you that you seem like a person who has had a difficult life but that, from now on, should you be in need of something... maybe of help, maybe simply of someone to talk with... I'll be there, okay?" she winks at him "And if you find out something that can be done for that poor girl, I will be very glad - to the point that if a reward came out I would leave you my share. I don't like those who try to frame innocent people".
"A lot of people do." Dimitri said, "They like to guess. They see you are a cripple, and they underestimate you. I got away with a lot of things that way."
"We're still on a job. I'd like to focus on that first. But no one said we couldn't start looking into the next one."

T’bitha tries to make sense of the girl with the tattoos until a possible realization occurs to her. She speaks to the group about it, “I recall reading several manuscripts and books about this. I cannot remember which book it was; however, this phenomenon is uniquely specific. When a demon or devil is released from the abyss or hell, a person will be marked with those tattoos. I find it unusually coincidental that we are now hearing about this after our little foray into the mausoleum to fetch these urns.”
T’bitha looks at the stake in her pack to see if it still has the bizarre animated properties after learning and discussing this tattooed woman.

Week 1- Roleplaying
"A demon or devil, you say?" meditates Khessa "It may have been Mr Small Shady... Or who knows. However, even this information seems to imply that the girl is innocent; thanks for sharing, T'bitha" she pats her on the shoulder. "We should help the poor girl, if we find her. At least help her get rid of these tattoos... or help her to get a new life in a place where sacrificing people is not the default solution to problems people don't understand".
”I don’t know, Khessa. It is possible that the woman is innocent. Though rumors suggest that the devil or demon is somehow related to the marked individual. I say if we find her we do so with caution.”
T’bitha looks to Dimitri, “Dimitri is right though. We already have one task to complete ahead of us. This woman does intrigue me and I believe it is somehow related to one of these urns; however, we need to return them to Ozemon as he asked. He may have more information about the woman in question as well.”
T'bitha at the moment the stake is un-animated. Just hanging out in your bag.
Week 2 Combat - Round 2 / Round 3
Dimitri you get a solid hit off for 15points of damage to the Slightly Smaller Centipede, using the Injured Man (Crocodile Man) as cover.
The Alligator Eating Centipede continues to focus on you, Khessa with both of its attacks. Tentacles Attack: 15 Damage: 3 Bite: Attack: 11 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.. I will need a CON save if the tentacle attack hits.
With that, Khessa you're up! Be sure to make the CON save so that you know if you spend your turn poisoned and paralyzed or if you get to take a turn.
21 Alligator Eating Centipede (26/??) (Should be Crocodile Eating Centipede -> YES I know) 19Khessa (37/37) (+5 MAX HP from aid 8 hours) 18Freakishly Large Centipede (31/??) 16Hadi (13/28) (+5 MAX HP from aid 8 hours) (Bladesong 2/10) 14T'bitha (24/24) 12Tristan (24/31) (poisoned and paralyzed) 9Slightly Smaller Centipede (34/??) 9 Injured Man (33/??) 7Dimitri (32/32) (+5 MAX HP from aid 8 hours)
Khessa continues to keep an eye on both centipedes, acutely aware that one of them has every intention of eating her... but that the other, the one who is slaughtering her friends (one of which even got now paralyzed!), must be the most injured... The blonde arcane warrior wants to eliminate it, in order to reduce the considerable volume of attacks that the party is suffering.
The tall warrior-mage repeats her previous tactic, waiting for the monstrous insect who targets her to launch its offensive. When the tentacles snap, she is ready to deflect them with the greatsword, then she leaps out of the way of the bite of the sinking monster, whose teeth succeed then only in grazing her chainmail, without penetrating it.
She turns on herself and performs a magical gesture in the same elegant movement, then brings both hands to the hilt of her heavy blade, now covered with magical green fire, and slashes the Freakishly Large Centipede, advising her companions: "Let's not disperse our attacks, let's focus on this one, damn it! If we hurt three of them, all three keep attacking us... but if we kill one, only two remain attacking us, is not it better?"
To stress how much she wants to eliminate at least one opponent, Khessa pursues the Freakishly Large Centipede with the strength of desperation, managing to drop a blow similar to the previous one before the monster gets a chance to react.

Using Action Surge to act again:
Green-Flame Blade Attack: 22 Damage: 10 on Freakishly Large Centipede + (if hits) 3 green fire that leaps from the target to Alligator Eating Centipede
Khessa with your action surge, you take two strikes against the Freakishly Large Centipede dealing a total of 18points of damage, killing the Freakishly Large Centipede, and dealing another 6points of damage against the Alligator Eating Centipede.
Because the Freakishly Large Centipede is now dead, Hadi, T'bitha, and Tristan you are all up!

RP: "All damsels in distress are innocent until proven guilty, as far as I'm concerned. Let us see if we can find this poor thing."Hadi adds to the conversation
Combat: Keeping his focus on the smaller centipede, Hadi lunges at it with his shadow blade, again whistling to put the green flame at the tip.
Attack: 15 Damage: 6 + 4 to nearest neighbor if close enough and hits.
Hadi strikes with a solid blow to the Alligator Eating Centipede dealing 16points of damage, killing it.
Only the Slightly Smaller Centipede currently engaged with the Injured Man and Dimitri remains.
T'bitha you're up! The poison flowing through your body doesn't stop when the Centipede that hit you died, Tristan. You're still poisoned and paralyzed. Make a DC 13 CON save, if you would to fight it!

T’bitha looks at the battlefield after her mismanaged spell casting and observes something bizarre about Tristan. She makes her way over to him and realizes he is a predicament. She places her hand on his wound. “Eilistraee, remove the affliction that has incapacitated Tristan.”
(ooc- Tristan may pick to remove the poison or paralyzation, but not both. Also.. that’s my last 2nd level spell slot.)

Week 1 - Roleplaying
Tristan looks slightly confused "What exactly is Hell? I don't think I have ever heard of it. Is it a place? A city?"
Week 2 - Combat
Growling, Tristan shakes off his paralyzation. He charges the final centipede, his blade swinging in a crackling arc above his head. Booming blade: 12 Damage: 9 + 2 Thunder damage and another 6 Thunder damage if the creature moves on its turn.

...Hadi strikes with a solid blow to the Alligator Eating Centipede dealing 16points of damage, killing it...
As soon as Hadi lands the precise blow that kills the Centipede that was threatening her, Khessa takes the time to turn to him for a moment, her greatsword still dripping with insect blood, and smile: "Thanks Hadi!" she winks at the elf "You just saved another poor damsel in distress!"
Tristan with a booming thud strikes the Slightly Smaller Centipede dealing 13 points of damage, killing it.
The Injured Man slowly begins transforming back into a more human form instead of the half crocodile half human he just was. He doesn't appear to be a threat, combat seems to be over for the moment.
