Great! Anator thinks the hand of a god is a much better guide than he himself can be, so he simply returns to Khessa to report Kriv's imminent arrival.
The blonde arcane warrior hides the bat again in her thick curls: "Thank you brother of mine!" then she continues, addressing Zale "Our friend is arriving, he's already on his way... Evidently, either he was lost, or he wanted to look around the city".
[So you're all at the supply warehouse now? Or are some of you still with the Cult's wagons?]
(OOC: If I well remember, we were all heading to the Cult's wagon at a stable on the north side of Waterdeep with other wagons are already there. We were heading there to spy on the Cult)
[Ok, but just so you know: those are 2 different locations.]

[Ok, but just so you know: those are 2 different locations.]
(OOC: Oh, OK. Then, I'm not sure where Eric meant to lead us to spy on Cultists... But I'd say supply warehouse; it seemed the most interesting place)
[No problem, they are pretty close because of reasons]
Kriv arrives at the warehouse first. He sees Jamna talking with a muscular Human. When she notices Kriv she beckons him to come over.
The others arrive when the 3 of the them are in discussion.
Khessa tries to approach and join the conversation: "Hi Jamna, nice to meet you again. I'm glad you too have discovered this place. Are you planning something?"
“I was pointed here to possibly get another guard job. Our last one worked well and we need to head North anyways.” Kriv looks to the group. “What do you think?”
“I was pointed here to possibly get another guard job. Our last one worked well and we need to head North anyways.” Kriv looks to the group. “What do you think?”
"Good idea Kriv!" Khessa pats him on the shoulder "That might really be what we need!"
But now that she is near... What's this scent... Lavender?!
"Hey, Kriv..." can't help but comment the blonde arcane warrior "Did you invest part of the pay in perfume? Not to criticize, mind me, just curious... It's very good!"
Jamna: Yes... well, as I was explaining: Ardred Briferhew here, from the High Road Charter Company, is looking for guards to escort a few supply wagons.
The muscular Human takes over and explains that the road to the north, called the High Road, used to connect Waterdeep to the city of Neverwinter. A cold, coastal marsh called the Mere of Dead Men lay between the road and the coast. Over the years, the mere continually expanded. Each time it grew, it flooded the road, which had to be relocated farther inland. That was the situation until a century ago, when Neverwinter was nearly destroyed by the eruption of Mount Hotenow. With the city in ruins, efforts to keep the road open simply stopped. It no longer served a purpose. But now, Lord Neverember is rebuilding Neverwinter and the road is needed again.
The work camp the convoy is headed toward lies 200 miles up the coast. For most of that distance, the road winds through rough coastal hills nestled between the Sword Mountains and the sea. Trip would take about 10 days, you'll leave tomorrow at noon. The Human asks you to name your price.
"In my last job as a bodyguard during a travel, a job that seems to me to be quite similar to this one," Khessa remembers "my wages had been 1gp a day. I think that both me and my teammates would be fine with a similar contractual condition. The journey was long and not without dangers - but whoever hired us arrived without suffering damage to either their person or their property - and they must have thought that their money was well spent, because they also granted us a little extra. In particular, my employer was Mr Urnpoleshurst; you can ask him for confirmation if you want. It is therefore likely that you will not regret hiring us either, Ardred. What do you say? Can it work for you?"
"I'm pleased to meet you" the dwarf bonds slightly "my name is Eric Bjornstad. I serve the God of fire and iron, who grants me power over those elements. I am a protector for artisans and travelers; I also have guarded the journey of our caravan from Baldur's Gate. Regarding the price; what she said works for me" says Eric with a smile on his lips.
OCC: to hide the diamond and spare it from the sigh (and hands) of other people, Eric would create a tiny metal chest and it key, which are tied to his belt by an iron chain (he would spend one use of his artisan's blessing to do so)
Ardred: That's too much for me, how does 5 gold for the trip sound?
Khessa reflects: 'It is certainly not a fee that reflects our value ... but on the other hand, we are more interested in shadowing the Cult than enriching ourselves as guards'.
"I see... 10 days, but only 5gp... So it's half, compared to the previous assignment..." the blonde arcane warrior pretends to be undecided (mostly so as not to arouse suspicions in accepting a much lower offer too quickly) "However, it's an assignment that has its advantages. Only 10 days, much less than the previous assignment... and it's an assignment available immediately. So we could immediately rake in some money, and then soon be free to look for more profitable jobs..."
"Yes," the tall adventuress decides, holding out her hand with a smile "all in all, it might be worth it! Deal!"
Zale lets out a sigh of relief when seeing Kriv, though her expression quickly changes to annoyance. She stomps over to the other dragonborn. "Next time ye want to go somewhere, let one of us know. Got it?! Next time we might not be able to find ye again." She scrunches her nose and grimaces, "Yick! Lavender? What were ye even doin? Did ye go to some sort o bath place? Gah, I hate perfume." She sneezes then backs away and waves her hand at him, "Don't be come near me until that wares off a bit ye hear? Me nose can't take a sent that strong."
After regaining her composur, yet still staying a good distance away from Kriv, the irritation fades from her face and she offers a bow to Jamna and Ardred. "Pleased to meet ye Ardred. I be called Zale Stormsent. Body guardin and protectin loo-- I mean goods be no new thing to me And I do be agreein with me friend Khessa here, that do seem a bit cheep, but we have good reason to take ye up on that."

“Oh, hey guys. Sorry about wandering off.”
"Well, we can't accuse you of wasting time..." Khessa winks, happy to have found her friend again "You found Jamna even before us!"

OCC: Before we leave Eric would like to buy a diamond worth 300 gp for Revivify spell DX
Khessa, make a persuasion check.
Others, with Ardred and Jamna here you can pretty much find the shops you're looking for to buy and sell (that includes Zeminny's rare items).

Calvin, meanwhile, is lost in thought as he contemplates everything the group has gone through.
"Don't forget," he says softly. "My druidic abilities can help guide you if you need it."
