“I didn’t mean to. I just got distracted…” After Zale moves away, Kriv sniffs himself. He is somewhat nose blind but realizes the scent is strong when he focuses on it. He digs in his component pouch, pulling out a handful of sand and a piece of coal. He begins rubbing it on his arms as the group negotiates. “Any dangers in particular? Or just the normal bandits and the like?”
Excellent! Arderd replies. To Kriv he answers: Yeah, bandits and the like. You know, Trolls, Orcs, Ogres, Lizardfolk. You better get some rest while you can! Har har!
Jamna: I know a place where we can sleep tonight. I think it's best if we stick together.
When you walk away (if some discussion happens, this happens after said discussion) you notice 2 of the Cultist's wagons arriving at the warehouse (1 that was already in Waterdeep and 1 that was in your caravan.
Some of you hear Arderd yelling: No, no, don't unload it! We leave tomorrow at noon. And you see him walking to the 2nd wagon, waving his arms.
Jamna leads you to a tavern called the Skewered Dragon. It looks like a decent tavern in the Dock Ward. The tavern is well lit, with lots of windows and lanterns creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The furnishings are comfortable and tasteful, with plenty of cushions and rugs. The walls are decorated with paintings, maps and books. The air is filled with the scent of freshly baked bread, spicy stew and sweet wine. The tavern is run by a charming (female) half-elf, who has a beautiful voice.
Zale grins. This guy sure is enthusiastic. Then she looks at Jamna, "Eye, I be agreein with that. Staying together do be the safer option."She gives Kriv a sidelong glance. "Let's be on our way then!"
Following Jamna, the dragonborn can't help but snicker when reading the tavern's name. That's exactly what she wants to do to that blue bastard. Skewer 'im, then leave 'im out so the gulls can pick his bones clean. She is a bit surprised when despite it's gruesome name, the inside of the place seems rather homely.

Something is wrong with this tavern. You can't put your finger on it, but it's way too nice for such a bad neighborhood. However, you do not see any obvious signs of criminal activities.
Khessa, as unaware as Eric of the fact that something is wrong with this tavern, sits next to the dwarf and puts her arm comradely around his shoulders, glad to stay as close to him as possible: "Really a nice place, this one!" she smiles and tries to enjoy the evening "Plus, we were lucky to find this new engagement right away! This time, I hope we'll be able to follow whoever interests us to their final destination... It shouldn't be long, if the other half-dragon has been seen too".
Lira smiles at Eric and says, Ah, a Dwarf and a cleric from Moradin none the less. You have good taste, friend. I have exactly what you are looking for. It's called Selûnes' Stout, and it's the strongest beer we have. It is brewed with the finest barley, hops and honey, and it has a rich and full flavour. It's also blessed by a priest, so it has a touch of magic to it. But be warned, it's not for the faint of heart or liver. A few sips and you'll feel like you could slay a dragon. A whole pint and a Human or Elf would probably fall asleep on the floor. But if you think you can handle it, I'll be happy to pour you a glass. That will be two pieces of silver, please. She grabs a large mug from behind the counter and fills it with the dark and frothy beer. She hands it to Eric and says, Enjoy it, but drink in moderation. And if you need anything else, just let me know. I am here to serve you. She winks at him and continues with her work.
"Hmmm..." Khessa comments, when Lira walks away "The smile... Her great willingness to serve... The wink... I'm not sure if I like this charming female half-elf with a beautiful voice... I understand that being a little alluring is part of her job, but my instinct tells me that this one is exaggerating a bit... I don't know what to think, Eric... Either you really impressed her... Or she has something in mind (although I can't tell what)".
Eric shrugs "I don't know. I don't see how can she have something in mind since we have never seen her before, furthermore we are strangers in this city" he says sipping his beer "but if you have strange feeling, better keeping our eyes opened, I trust your impressions" Eric winks while looking in the eyes of the tall woman and whispers "you know she cannot compete to you my dear, this dwarf will not fall just for a tasty pint of beer and some pleasant manner" he hugs her a little tighter while finishing his pint...

"I'm glad Eric!" Khessa smiles, enjoying the closeness of the other and caressing his cheeks, under the bushy beard "I already knew that you are a reliable person, who doesn't change... 'company'... lightly. I didn't think about that; it's the attitude of the girl that… well, I found it strange".
"If it wasn't for Jamna who brought us here," the blonde arcane warrior admits "I could even start suspecting that she might be a cultist trying to poison us… You know, they tried to kill us so often, during the journey... But it's Jamna who lead us here... Maybe Lira's a Harper too and she likes you because Jamna told her what we're trying to do".
"Well, let's still enjoy the evening, anyway" the tall adventuress put her own worries temporarily aside. "All in all, we'll have the opportunity to share the same room yet another time, tonight... so if someone tries to enter with bad intentions, either my brother or II, we should notice!"
Taking in the atmosphere of the tavern, Zale's grin flickers. Somethin' ain't right with this place... When the bar maid comes over, Zale states, "Got any Rum? Haven't had me a good taste o rum in quite a while heheh."She grins.
Insight on the elven woman: 10
Once the woman leaves, Zale rolls her eyes at Eric and Khessa and whispers to Kriv. "Somethin ain't right here. I can't put me finger on it, but there's definitely somethin off with this place. Do ye think Jamna's playin us?" Once the rest of the party is paying attention to her, she will repeat this information to them.

"Hey!" Khessa is surprised "Me too, Zale, I had a feeling of something... out of place. But about the attitude of the owner, not the place in general. I was reassuring myself because it is Jamna who brought us here, but if there are two of us to have suspicions... we'd better keep watch our backs tonight, just in case".
Kriv looks around the tavern. “Little fancy for my taste. I’ll take one of the stouts.”

Eric sits quite comfortable unaware of any oddity. "A pint of your strongest beer!" asks to the bartender.
"With Moradin's Blessing I also think it won't take long... we'll face this new journey; together" the dwarf hugs her back.
Lira smiles at Eric and says, Ah, a Dwarf and a cleric from Moradin none the less. You have good taste, friend. I have exactly what you are looking for. In case of constitution save is needed since Eric does not drink which such moderation: 18 + 3
OCC: would Eric be able to craft a horn (suitable as Clairvoyance spell) eventually by using his artisan blessing?

The good news is: you're still standing once you finish it. You're one happy drunk though!
Yes, he would. Materials might be an issue though...
